female detectives who provide a mother like figure during interrogation are monster at their job. Absolutely perfect for it.

Yeah but she’s didn’t fit that category

@@tj2407 buddies a little in denial
Female detectives in interrogations are strategically placed. Male detectives don’t take the lead because females can’t do it. They take the lead because male suspects are usually more comfortable speaking to a male. Female detectives usually say little for most of the interrogation but their mere presence is sometimes enough to keep suspects on edge. Then, as we saw in this video, they are more effective at appealing to the suspect’s emotions or for drawing sympathy back to the victim or the victim’s family. The female detective in this video started off not saying anything. So when she spoke and called the suspect out on his lie, it was that much more impactful. I don’t doubt that her appearance as a motherly figure begging for an answer to give to the victim’s family really weighed heavily on the suspect’s conscience. Absolutely fantastic job from both detectives and if anybody in the chat questioned why the female detective was there initially, I hope they noticed how big a role she played at the end.
I don’t think they realized the emotions were intentional for the process, which inevitably caused him to admit it.

@@richardkolodziej8346 It's possible he fell into the "if I don't talk I look guilty" trap that people often fall into.
He probably wouldn't have gotten away with it. The one thing people fail to realize apparently is that he wasn't acting in the end, the narrator even said it himself. He was showing genuine emotion because he was stupid and killed someone and realized the entirety of his life was gonna be spent in jail for the rest of it. Or he's gonna get killed. you don't have to be in their line of work to criticize someone. by that logic, we shouldn't be able to say that certain actors are bad at their job, if we have never had their job. I haven't finished the video yet, but still I personally don't believe anyone is necessarily safe from criticism or insults regardless of the experience of the critic. if someone seems bad at their job, usually even unexperienced criticism can help expose any weak points that could be improved upon. sorry for the essay.
@@_DMNO_ you're right, but chat was still being retarded lol, to criticize something you should at least know SOMETHING about it, the chat was being absolutely retarded this vid
good point but the actor examples only works because they imitate real situations and conversations if that makes sense, these things we are probably familiar to begin with but these investigations and whatnot, they apply different strategies that requires experience and you cant just say she's throwing so bad when each person is subjective and certain techniques works and others do not
@@_DMNO_ But those criticisms were based on a false reasoning. They thought she lost control of her emotions and wasn't professional when it was acting. its amazing how the female detetective, using this mother figure strategy makes you, even as the viewer, feel guilty and desperately want for this guy to tell them what happened to make her stop begging. Of course JCS is great and entertaining, but I disagree sometimes with the "put yourself in their shoes if you were innocent" scenarios. I feel like if I knew these investigators were looking for someone that I worked with, I would try to be as detailed as possible to help in any way I could. The amount of information you're giving shouldn't have too much weight to how innocent or guilty you are.
They’re general psychological trends, there will be outliers. We all differ
the more info you try and give without it making sense will fuck you over.
And the information could get you charged, prosecuted and maybe even get you in jail
