I'll miss these shows!
RED RICE in Vegas
Jollibee spaghetti or Filipino spaghetti is mainly geared towards younger kids, hence the sweetness and the hotdogs. A lot of adults tend to think of it as a weird, quirky and nostalgic childhood comfort food.
I’ll miss u Julia😭
We have tomatoes in the Philippines. But during the time the WW2 tomatoes were hard to find but bananas were abundant. You basically don't need to tend to banana trees and they can grow anywhere. So the inventor used bananas.
It's horrible news that this wonderful series is ending my heart is shattered
Low key earlier this week when I couldn’t sleep I watched episodes from past seasons 🥴🥴🤪
I like seeing the different foods but I can’t stand the way she chews. I wish it would continue with someone else.
I feel like I'm losing a friend. 💔
@@louykins i love it! It’s cute to me
@@louykins That plus her culinary expertise is capped for sure. I don’t think she has really developed as a host all that much and her interest seems to be waning.
CORRECTION: Tomatoes ARE abundant in the Philippines, but there was a point, back in the day, were there was a shortage of tomatoes and because of the Filipinos ingenuity, they invented banana ketchup. You can say, necessity was the mother of invention.😁😉
I believe during the American occupation of the Philippines, tomatoes weren't grown to the scale it is grown today. Filipinos originally didn't make spaghetti for themselves. It was the American soldiers stationed in the Philippines who requested spaghetti. But during World War 2, importing tomatoes was practically impossible. What the country had in abundance were bananas. Food scientist María Orosa is credited with inventing banana ketchup. She invented nutrient rich food and helped smuggle them into prisons, saving civilians and prisoners of war. She also fought and died as a guerilla during the war. One could say that we have sweet spaghetti because of a badass war hero.
And this banana ketsup is better than tomatoe ketsup.
@@recentnewsph Actually true because it has a lot of vitamins. Maria Orosa was brilliant for choosing banana as base for this sauce.
OA pinoy spotted
This is probably one of THE best programs at Delish. Why would they stop it 😢
Cuz they’re crazy lol
This Julia supposed to eat fast food for the rest of her life? Look at how she's been doing producer work on Iconic Eats- she's clearly ready to move on with her career. Good for her!
They tapped the Filipino favorite foods, to all Filipinos like the channel and maybe they continue the channel
Apparently they want to be canceled LOL
i agree i’m sad
The man who ate the pie had me in tears laughing because as someone who has never been to Times Square, this feels very much like what I hear about Times Square😂
The pie-napping was too much!!!
can someone please explain what happened? what part of the video was it?
Got love NYC happens all the time in that area
@@strahnbrad3979 22:31
because its full of thieves?
Please don’t end this Series! What will I watch on Delish? When will I see Julia? It’s just not right. 😢
Cry all you want it won’t come back
The best things at Jollibee are the Chickenjoy and their breakfast selection. Their Tocino is basically like candied pork that hits hard first thing in the morning. Think brown sugar bacon but kicked up a notch.
I agree, chickenjoy is their best. Popeyes pales in comparison.
@@qwertyboo And the fact it’s so cheap amazes me. I can get a 3 piece combo with a drink at Jollibee’s a few dollars cheaper than a 2 piece combo at Popeye’s.
@@qwertyboo well I'm Filipino and imo popeyes fried chicken is better than the regular chickenjoy from jollibee, but if I'll compare it to their spicy chickenjoy tho then jollibee wins its I just find regular chickenjoy bland without gravy.
@@pauloravena1298 i agree. can't remember the last time i willingly ordered the regular chickenjoy, but the spicy chickenjoy i eat almost every week.
The mango flavor profile in the pie is actually based on the much sweeter Philippine mango. When cooked it tastes quite similar to the jamminess and fruitiness of peach which may be why it was harder to differentiate ^_^
It was an amazing journey, Julia. All the best in your next adventure! Kudos to Chelsea for all the great slow mos and close ups :)
i remember watching this series during quarantine , but somehow lost it in the way
happy to find it again ,julia is such a ray of sunshine
👍❤️
Can't believe this series is already ending. I'm def gonna rewatch the whole thing every night lmao thank you guys!!!
I love Julia! Why is the series ending? We love Julia and the series and want it to continue!!! What will Julia be doing next? We will follow her anywhere!!!
As a Filipino American, the spaghetti is super nostalgic and delicious! You definitely should include their breakfast & their palabok!
Yuck
As a kid, I used to ‘hate’ the Jolly spaghetti. I don’t know when I started loving it but I’m sure I was already in my 30’s when I began craving for it. Strange.
@@b1k2q34 yuck your face
Totally nostalgic whenever I would have love McDonald’s off base this is my go to
If US jollibees bring that chicken salad here in the Philippines, I'll be a loyal customer.
👍❤️
the way it looks it's gonna cost P350 or so
@@oxoelfoxo I think they can adjust the price like the salads served in local Wendy's for example...Jollibee chicken in a salad should be great.
I seriously do not think anything else will make me smile as big as when Julia’s new content posts!!! We are going to miss you and your upbeat, kind personality!!! Best of wishes to you Julia and thank you for so many laughs!
I will keep insisting this series continue! Love every episode.
Never had been a fan of chicken places like KFC or Popeyes, but Jollibees is absolutely delicious. Their fried chicken is always so juicy and flavourful. Their burgers are really tasty, too.
Julia is so perfect for this! My favorite series [only thing I watch] on this channel.
I can't be the only one who's in suspense when and where the last episode will be.
Me too I wonder if its a lie (i hope its a lie)
I was in Times Square yesterday and was tempted to try this Jollibee, but instead had an amazing mula at Los Tacos No. 1. Always glad to have your recommendations so will battle the crowds at a Jollibee near me in Chicago.
The Thanksgiving thing, is such a HUGE COMPLIMENT! 🇵🇭👏🏻
Filipino spaghetti sauce still uses tomato sauce but sweetened with banana ketchup. Don't expect literal banana taste lol it's just sweet.
I'm super sad this series is ending but I'm SO EXCITED to see Julia get on new projects - maybe she has new ideas and wants to do something different! I'm SO ready to SUPPORTTTT
Julia’s eyes twitching while on the burger is priceless 😂
Also, I wish Jollibee here in the Philippines has that divine bun. Aaaand the salads! My oh my!
they have that bun if you order the chicken sandwich
@@aangnyeong time to order the chicken sandwich 🤯
Honestly think jolibee in the Philippines tastes better than the ones in the states. The fried chicken here is the only thing that I think is as good
I remember there was that secret sauce within those burgers. I had Filipino burgers in the Philippines (just meat and sauce and that’s it!) and by god the secret is something better than a regular from anywhere in America!
My mom has been hesitant to go due to the fact they sell Spaghetti and Chicken im gonna learn her real quick how awsome all of these different things together on one menu are.
Please don't stop doing these review videos Julia!!
Delish, don't end this series... Julia is the reason why I watch your channel.. and Chelsea in the background.. pls don't end their show...!
i feel so included in this video, I’ve been obsessed with Jollibee chicken as of late and this video has perfect timing. wish the series didn’t have to end tho ;-;
We have local tomatoes here alright. Banana Ketchup was developed during WW2 due to a tomato shortage but on the other hand, abundance of bananas. We definitely also have tomato ketchup here and not everybody loves banana ketchup. For our local spaghetti, it's actually tomato sauce. It's sweet due to the sugar added in.
I don't want this series to end. This and June's episodes are the ones I watch.
I can’t let this series end without knowing that foundation julia wears!! Please someone tell me 🙏🏻🙏🏻 she’s always glowing
why would yall end the best series on this channel!?????
I’d like a episode where we see the process of finding the place calling and setting it up and like seeing how it goes from the minute u decide where to go til when ur finish eating. Like how does the phone call go to the place and how does it go to order everything. I think basically a behind the scene episode would be a awesome way to end the show sadly
Ah totally agree!!
I love Julia then , I love Julia more now! finaly jollibee and Julia in one video!!❤❤❤❤ 🇵🇭
I'm heartbroken. It hurts. Please don't leave Julia. You are a ray of sunshine in the lives of every fan of you. Don't leave us in the dark, queen. 😔
Cry all you want it’s over
I’m so sad this series is ending, This is the best series on Delish.
The intro saying it's the final season is preparing us all for heartbreak. We're already missing you before you're gone.
I was not prepared for the pie grab lol
Just told my husband I need to try Jolibee!
the biscuits aren't traditional at a Jollibee. It was likely added for the local market where that Jollibee is located. The salad is likely also for the local market. No salad at the Jollibee near me or back in the Philippines. Dang we don't have the Adobo rice yet at the Jollibee near me in Scarborough, Ontario
As a fil-am die hard Season 1 JTE fan, I am so thankful y’all made it a point to come to jollibee. Giving us exactly what we want for the last season. Trecking through times square for us. I feel so represented & sentimental lol ily
Chil with the need for validation, bro
@@___Anakin.Skywalker nah I’m already validated, this is just for fun
@@chiseller_ where you from? Drop your IG let me slide a dm
As a fancy ending to the series, I’d love to see you go to some great places like Russ & Daughters, Lillie’s Victorian Establishment (Times Square), or the Eataly food hall where you can try sooooooo much stuff! This has been one of my favorite food series ever so you must go out with a bang! TREAT-YO-SELF Julia!!!
Wow.. she's so genuine without any exaggeration.. i love her
I haven’t been able to watch Delish videos but when I seen this I got excited that Julia was trying Jolibee! ❤ I love your videos and I wish they wouldn’t end
Awww im going to miss your reviews of restaurants and theme parks foods! I think you two are so awesome! I hope to see you in a new project! But please don’t stop this one! ❤️
Awesome! You should witness how Jollibee dances. I havent seen Jollibee dance in the US. Ronald Mcdonald is just for display and stoic compared to Jollibee.
You really dig up on every ingredient of each food and the history of Jollibee. That’s really cool! 👍👍
ur a vlogger whom I will never missed to watch because you really take time to eat and say things premium and give your opinion in a nice way...and u really set on the fast food .. thank you so much
i cant forget "the whole shebangs" hehehe
I'm surprised they're ending this series. Julia, June and Adrianas episodes pull in most of the views for the channel.
Julia looks absolutely gorgeous in this video
Best chicken in terms of “juiciness” and lets not forget the peach mango pies 🤤
At first, I thought we were pouring gravy on the salad and I was like wow, this really is revolutionary. Pleas never stop. 😢
Jollibee is heaven sent. Best fastfood if youre into fried chicken and/or burgers. Hands down.
Great review, agree 100% with her
You are The Best Julia!!! 🌟 LOVE this series! 💜
Hey Julia! It’s so cool that your show featured Jollibee as it is a beloved fast food chain in the Philippines. Was disappointed, however, by how Americanized the menu is a the Times Square location. The Yum burger comes in single, double, and triple patties with optional pineapple slices as a topping. The specialty dishes are not only the Filipino spaghetti but also the Filipino version of salisbury steak, and the classic Filipino noodle dish, pancit canton. For dessert. There’s not only the peach mango pie but also halo halo, a Filipino version of a sundae/parfait with ice cream, sweet jellied fruits, sweet red beans, coconut and other candied fruit. Also, classic Filipino breakfasts like topsilog should be on the menu. Finally, where the heck is the WHITE RICE? The proper way to eat Chicken Joy is rice topped with fried chicken leg and smothered in gravy. Never have I ever seen a salad, biscuits, nor mac and cheese on a Jollibee menu in any branch in Manila, LA, nor Queens. If you are able, please go to a branch in Queens or Jersey City for a more authentic menu.
Yeah, I'm in Jersey City and I don't think we have the salad, biscuits, or mac and cheese but we do have the palabok (love) and I believe the salisbury steak (haven't tried). My favorite fast food and the first sit down restaurant I ate in after restaurants reopened.
The Jollibee Peach Mango Pie is the best ever, reason that they beat McDonalds is that Jollibee used Native Filipino Mangoes, the Right amount of Sweetness in the Mangoes.
18:46 NOSTALGIC, same here. We, as Filipinos, were used to eating sweet spaghetti, but not as sweet as Jollibee's. But whenever I eat Jolly Spaghetti, there's an "odd" taste in it, but it feels like going back to my childhood days.🥲 You feel like you were young again. Something like that feeling.😆❤
I’m manifesting that this series never ends 🙌🏻
That Jolli didn't have halo halo?! You don't know what you're missing.
PLEASE DON'T STOP THIS SERIES!
New Julia tries videos always make my day! I’m so sad that the series is ending 😢
You missed two of my favorites. It's the seafood sauce with glass noodles named PALABOK and for the pie my favorite is BANANA LANGKA flavor. These are the best :)
That adobo rice should be available here locally! 😄 My favorite is still the Aloha burger.
don’t end the series!!!!
As a part pinoy myself, I love going to Jollibee, My fave fast food restaurant. I am glad you like the Jollibee Menu. So sad your programme is ending😢We will miss you Julia.
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! Do not end this series!
A rainforest cafe episode would be so awesome!
Somebody did a video where he ate at all thr RFCs in the US.
She’s done a Rainforest Cafe episode.
I get super excited to see a new episode, but then a bit sad this is closer to the end of the last season. I hope when the finally eventually comes (a long, long, long time down the road) Julia and Chelsea will do a whole series review like they did Feb 2020 in the Behind-The-Scenes Secrets video for season one.
I like this review! Julia is personable, very pretty, and tells it like it is. Most of all, she's not afraid to eat, which is a great thing for a foodie.
That chicken really has to go with the gravy... Unless you're pairing it with Jolly Spaghetti 😁
“This is the best fried chicken I’ve ever had” you just made every Filipinos day better thank you
My wife and I absolutely love your shows on UA-cam. You need to keep this going!!!
The Jollibee near me opens at 7 AM every day. It never fails to shock me when I see the line outside at 6:30!
Lmaooo this episode was interesting to say the least😆 the guy stealing your pie, classing New York 🤣🤣🤣
Yay first like and comment. Love this series. Best to you and your family. Happy Halloween!!!!! 🎃 👻 🎃 👻 🎃
Your ending the series, this is my favorite series to watch. This is one of the only two series that I actually watch on this channel. Don't end this, make a new season.
I was wishing she'd do this and was so happy she did!!! ❤️
love the honest reviews, you rock!!
👍❤️
Can you guys please go to Culver's?????? they also just brought back the CurderBurger.
Also You guys missed the palabok and the palabok fiesta and the burger steaks with rice at at Jollibee

Those biscuits look phenomenal 😍🤤
Julia your the best and so entertaining ❤
The last episode of this blog I wanted to see you guys try some Filipino food and here you guys trying Jollibee. YayI’m glad you went to Jollibee, Jollibee is a famous food chain in the Philippines and now making it now the USA
this is my favorite episode julia! i grew up eating this gem
First of all, I am DEVASTATED that this series in ending!
Secondly, Julia your eyebrows looked amazing in this episode and I thought you should know lmao
Julia sooooo pretty & funny as always 😭
Getting your half-eaten pie snatched from u is truly a daily nyc experience😂 Can’t eat a meal without facing the wealth disparity there!
Sad for the series to end but hope we'll get to see what else Julia has in store for us!
Julia~ ppl are gonna keep leaving comments until you don't say this is not the last season 😄 We love your videos, don't stop, girl!!
If she thinks the peach mangoe pie is more peachy then she has not eaten enough mango in her life...
i think the american peach mango pie has a more peach flavor. I remember that being one of the distinct differences I uncovered for myself when I compared the two
I’m sad this series is ending. 😢 Julia is the Queen Foodie!
Filipino spaghetti does contain tomatoes! It has banana ketchup in it in addition to the tomatoes, it's not *just* banana sauce dyed red. Also banana ketchup was invented in WWII when there was a tomato shortage but an abundance of bananas.
So proud that Jollibee passed your taste ms. Julia! It means a lot if it’s coming from you!! You’re vlog is one of the best!! ❤️👏👍🏼🤤🤩
Sad about the final season…😭
I wish it’s not the ending! 😘
More success to you and God bless!🙏🏻
Absolutely wonderful! Thanks for having Jollibee before ending (sob!) the series! We hope for you to taste Ube Pie and Halo-Halo in Jollibee as well, but I don't know if it's available there.. :)
This series is the bomb!
Try Magnolia’s Bakery, the famous banana pudding! 🍌
Pretty comprehensive. Thanks for educating your viewers on the gravy dunk. And yes, the spag was designed for kids. Next please try authentic Filipino food and real chicken pork adobo.
Wait no, let’s not stop this series. It’s the only one I watch
Easily the most honest review of Jollibees.

Um, no
Keep this series going, please! 😊
