Repent and obey Jesus, No hypocrites will enter the kingdom of God!! Boy, you famous now, LOL.
@@rauda1059Jesus loves chicken 🐔 sandwichs 🥪
@@rauda1059leave people alone man. You're as bad as the trans forcing this garbage. You better be a bot
Should've done the McCrispy sandwich instead of the McChicken probably is just as bad but I feel like that's more of the kind of chicken sandwich you're going for
To be fair the McChicken has been around longer and is one of their iconic menu items
I was thinking the same thing. The McCrispy would have been a better comparison option.
The McChicken is the chicken sandwich most folks get when they get at McDonald's. As for the McCrispy, they made every wrong choice you can make when doing a "premium" chicken sandwich. The breading and the brioche bun are both way too sweet. It's a Marie Antoinette bun ("qu'ils mangent brioche.")
Was thinking the same thing. Apples and oranges. McCrispy and ChicKing should have been tested.
honestly, for the price, it's arguably worse. they charge you a premium for garbage that isn't even better. at least a McChicken is cheap and fast.
Coming from Germany, its crazy to see how many „similar“ fast food places there really are. We got like Mc Donalds, BK, Kfc, Subway and thats it
Yeah even living in the north west part of america we dont have half of these restaurants
You should be happy you have kfc, not in Uruguay we don't
Yes but I'm guessing that like here in France, you will have a million kebab type places with each their own Chicken burger :) BTW in Berlin, you can find great Greek pita.
@@joaquingimenez222I mean, why would you be happy for having KFC? We have it where I’m from and I have been there three times my whole life, and the last time I ate there they gave me a chicken sandwich that was both burnt AND frozen at the same time lmaooo
Nothing to be happy about lmao KFC is dogshit @@joaquingimenez222
The McCrispy at Mcdonalds and Ch'king at burger king are both pretty solid actually. Much better than the mcchicken and original chicken sandwich. I always thought the long chicken sandwich at burger king was nasty. Tastes like fish to me maybe it's the oil like you said.
Unfortunately BK discontinued the Ch'king about a year ago. The spicy one was tremendous with that nashville hot style glaze. Their new one is not near as good, in fact probably worse than their chicken sandwiches prior to the Ch'king days.
@@TonyEvers-bucksin6 That's interesting. Wonder why it got discontinued. Seems like chicken sandwiches became one of the hot items at fastfood spots after the whole Popeyes craze a few years ago.
@@beauburris7739 According to BK it was too difficult to make and they wanted more focus on the Whopper.
What I've learned is that the quality of franchises really comes down to individual stores
This is true, get a good location and just about anywhere is good.
Exactly! My town’s Wendy’s SUCKS, and my friend in Illinois manages a Wendy’s and it’s IMMACULATE, he’s gotten praise on basically every inspection he’s gotten and has a near perfect review score on google
underrated comment.
But consistency is key
Arby's is my favorite example of what you just said. Go to a bad one and you'll end up with raw chicken snd food poisoning, a good one and it's really good.
All I learned from this chicken sandwich review is that a lot of fast food managers don't make sure the fry oil is getting changed.
Edit: I'll reply to all the comments about why this happens all at once. In my experience the equipment for filtering and changing is a pain to use and clean so nobody wants to filter and especially nobody wants to scrub or soak the fryer before adding the new oil which ruins the new oil faster. Also yes budget can come into it.
Hey it’s Tyler!
Yeah it's to save money
You'd be right.
@@yotambraunshtein9786 While yes, that is a reason, it's not the biggest reason.
It takes a lot of effort to change oil, AND it can be a fucking mess. Most people I've met that take too long to do it don't want to do it and wait as long as they can.
Working at maccas, I've seen it changed in literally 15 minutes by 1 person during an overnight. It's really not hard, a slight hassle but not hard
I love how high Bojangles scored, i lived in the south and a lot of the fast-food chains aren't around here but Bojangles? Making chicken sandwiches was one of their best decisions ever I love them
Their bread complaints would have been addressed if they got the REAL Boj sandwich, the chicken filet biscuit. Just sayin.
As someone who's worked at Culver's before the same practices are used at all locations.. that lettuce could have very easily been a bit on the old side or left out for so long. The same goes for the spring mix they use on salads just barely to the point of old lettuce.. keeps costs down obv
As an European, I am always shocked by the number of different fast food chains in America, and how similar they all look like.
But man, they taste so different.
Just another reason the United States is the best country on Earth.
@@mikebrowne477 Also the fattest! :)
@@mikebrowne477bahahahha you wish 😂
A ton of places don't have the same stores though. State to state you have variety. They are in big city Texas though which has almost everything.
As someone from NC it feels good to see Bojangles ranking so high up.
I think he should try Smithfield's Chicken if he ever ends up in NC. No sauce though (but he could add Red Sauce).
Everytime I (in the upper Midwest) go back home to visit my parents in SC, the FIRST place I hit is Bojangles so I can be in chicken heaven!!
As a fellow North Carolinian, give hardees breakfast a try next time, I think it's better than Bo n cheaper fs. Bo still rocks regular food though
NC 🫡 Especially Greensboro.
I used to have Bojangles on vacations to the SC and Georgia coast as a kid. I live on the other side of the country now and still think about that chicken😭
As Mexican who lived in Hawaii and having tried all the U.S. Fast food restaurants, Jollibee is by far my favorite place for chicken sandwiches. Best chicken by far, crispy and very moist. Now I live in Mexico but no Jollibee here 😭😭
Just got your new book for my birthday. Looking forward to it.
I think what set jollibees chicken sandwich apart isn’t necessarily the flavor but just how well it was made and also the bun to chicken ratio was also the best in my opinion. Ive never had a dry jollibee chicken sandwich so i think tge rating was well deserved

@@JollibeeUSAI wish we had one, we are out in the boonies very rural.
they use dark meat of the chicken thats why it has so much flavor unlike most chicken sandwich.
Jollibee was made from 🇵🇭
For the McDonalds review, I think it would have been more fair if you got the McCrispy, the McChicken is literally just there for people who are looking for something cheap and filling. The McCrispy is more of a chicken type sandwich, though it usually is pretty stringy but it would have gotten a higher rating I feel.
Agreed. I was shocked they got the McChicken
A "chicken type sandwich"? So, it's not a real chicken sandwich.
It's more like a giant nugget lol.@@solkalibri1376
Same.
Agreed.
Mcdonalds has a "premium" chicken sandwich. Kind of unfair to get the dollar menu chicken sandwich instead when you are getting premium chicken sandwiches from other places that are charging $6+ for one sandwich.
I agree, those premiums at Mdz are pretty good I think they were better than chik fil a.

As a North Carolinian, I’m proud of Bojangles pulling out the number 2 spot but now I wanna go get some Jollibees if it can beat Bojangles!
i lived in nc for most of my childhood and was rooting for bojangles after it was ranked and i was honestly hoping they didn’t include jollibee because it’s that’s good. i highly recommend you give it a shot if you are ever near one!
It's the underdog where I live because we have Popeyes and raising Cain's with a mile of it
Anyone who can beat Bojangles is definitely a must try. Jollibees is definitely a must try if it can beat Bojangles.
i ate alot of joilibee when i visited the philippines.its good, try the chicken, the champ burger, halo halo and there spaghetti.the spaghetti is diff and it is really sweet but you will get used to filipino taste.
So as a person who's eaten a lot of friend chicken and who also has an extremely refined palate, I can truly say that Jollibee (specifically the hot) is the best fried chicken I've ever eaten non-homemade by a mile!
I used to love chick fil a till I had Dave's and I loved Dave's until I had bojanles. But once I had Jollibee I will never, ever go back to a Popeyes, KFC, or Churches ever again! I remember the 1st time I had Jollibee I was driving by and was like "what's this place?" I had my wife go through the drive through and I was appalled by the prices. I ordered 1 spicy leg it was like $4-5!!! I was complaining and grumpy the entire time. I took 1 bite and made her go back though the drive through again and bought an entire 10 piece bucket.
It was the greatest hidden gem I've ever discovered. The only down side is the price. It's hella expensive and truly not affordable by the average person. I don't even eat fast food anymore (due to health reasons) but I still allow myself to have spicy Jollibee chicken once every month. I honestly wasn't that impressed by their chicken sandwich specifically, but you owe to yourself to try their spicy chicken, and be warned, it's extremely hot, just like I like it!
Ever since I ate Jollibee's chicken sandwich, my standards for chicken sandwiches has been so high lmao. Aint nothing beating that big fat juicy & spicy chicken from Jollibee
I like a cajun jerk chicken at Fat Burger
Man, time has changed when I used to work at BK. We changed the oil every night no matter what. We used to not sell as much of the Crispy Chicken Sandwich over the OG Sandwich, but the Crispy chicken was way better tasting.
I use to work at Hardees/Carl Jr's and the chicken sandwiches were freshly battered every day; it wasn't something that came in frozen and I'm sure that helps with the quality.
Was inspired to try Jollibee and was blown away. The juiciest, crispiest, most delicious fast food chicken sandwich I've ever tried.
I had it, was not brined, hardly any seasonings. Still good, but not even close to as good as popeyes.

We’re lucky to live near Jollibee. Their spicy chicken sandwich has fresh jalapeños instead of pickles. So you get that crunch like a pickle, but it kicks up the spice a bit. Then they put sriracha mayo on it. It is hands down the best chicken sandwich. Then you can get their adobo rice. The fried pies are incredible with the mango or the pineapple. Also if you get the chicken joy they only do dark meat. Such an underrated Chicken place.
Shhhh dont hype it up too much. We dont our drive thru wait time @ Jollibee to increase lol
As a Filipino, this warms my heart. Glad you're enjoying it 👍
Am I the only one that absolutely hates fresh jalapeños? Pickled is 1000000x better. Fresh is disgusting.

I worked at Carl’s Jr., the chicken is battered fresh, buttermilk then dry mix, then fried, I can already tell you didn’t get a fresh sandwhich because of how fast it is, if you get a fresh sandwhich from Carls, you’re gonna wait about 5-6 minutes, the chicken takes 4 minutes to fry at a time.
Agree, I've always waited for chicken tenders and a chicken sandwich from Hardees(same as Carl's Jr here), and it's excellent if you get it fresh!
Carls Jr has gifted me with several heavenly chicken sandwiches in my days

The thing about Jollibee when it comes to chicken manu. They perfected it. The joice, the crunch, the flavor. Just top tier. I even ask gravy for my sandwich...

Yea ngl i usually just coat it in the gravy before i eat it 😂 but tru its reallyreally juicy
Fast food chains vary a lot from country to country, but I'd say in Europe too Jollybees tends to have the best fried chicken (way better than KFC, Popeyes, Burger King and McDonalds).
Jollibee’s spicy chicken sandwich really surprised me, everything they said in the video is true about the regular sandwich. BUT the spicy comes with fresh jalapeños in addition to the usually spicy mayo, which just makes it so unique and delicious
Had this the last week it was so good, the fresh jalapeños added a lot. Best chicken sandwich from fast food place I ever had.
Is the sandwich spicy because of the sauce or is the breading actually different like in their regular chicken?
Gonna try it today
Was just saying this! The spicy version is out of this world. They season the chicken thigh patty with loads of spice and it’s 10x better than the regular one.
@@too2buffthe chicken is marinated in spices, so you can really taste the spice from the meat itself.
my guess is watching the coulourshape of the bun the the outside and how shiny the top of the bun is, veggies for sogginess, flatness and crunch

Well deserved spot. My first taste of Jollibee was 26 years ago in Manila and the taste still remains the same in the USA after all these years.
In Poland, there are not most of these fast-food outlets, but we have stricter quality regulations (the food does not contain as much chemicals and salt as American ones) and two awesome fast-food outlets: Nort Fish and Max Premium Burgers
Great breakdown of chicken, now i know where to go. Christian's responses are just great.
These guys are tough raters, but I do appreciate the consistency in the rankings. Solid list.
consistency is key i think. regardless of whether people agree with their ratings, you can see a consistent trend in how they grade each sandwich throughout each drive-thru visit
Honestly, Christian can give like a polar opposite review and still scores it within .5 range of the other guys. It makes it kinda pointless to have two people reviewing it at that point 😂

There are a lot of inspections in France so fast food places don't last. Subway and Pizza Hut and 5 Guys exist and they are excellent. Mostly small family restaurants serve burgers and fries. McDonalds was closed down for five years for the way they steam and press and compact whole chickens, heads and all. Very few meat and fish are deep fried in France. Please think deeply about this with urgency because this is your eternal life and soul, you don’t know when you could die, meaning you could die at any moment, so please consider this with all your heart. If anyone tells you that Jesus isn’t the only way, they are lying to you and they don’t care about your future.
This right here. The spicy sandwichs are always more flavorful
@@MikasaAckermann831especially since most fast food places have to appeal to the least common denominator, so “spicy” really just usually means “added spices and flavor”
Same I agree
I agree. The Popeyes bland version is meh, but I'd commit crimes for the spicy one.
As an European, I was quite shocked about some of the prices for your "fast food" nowadays. Even with all inflation here too, you could possibly feed yourself for 2 or 3 days, or a family for one day, for the price of two chicken sandwiches. I was in Florida in `98 & had 2 Big Macs for 4 Dollars! And they were fantastic.
Bojangles got the respect they deserve. No one believes me when I say how much better it is than the other big chains.
Agree with many that at some locations you did not have fried chicken sandwiches, you had chicken patty's - BK and McD come to mind. BK has the Royal Crispy and McD has the McCrispy - Both are vastly superior to the patty sandiwches you had.
The chemistry between Josh and Christian is incredible, so fun to watch. Also, I'm shocked about the number of fast food chains in America.
what'll surprise you is that this is not even 10% of all the fast food chains in America.
And keep in mind, these are just the national chains and ones with "big cultural significance". It's not even 10% of fast foods that exist in the US.
This is why we're fat.
Fast food is americas contribution in thr food world.
America doesnt have real food or original food, like asian countries or european cooking like french or italian.
Josh and Christian deserve their own Netflix series going around the country, even the world, trying every food they can find
He who controls others may be powerful, but he who has mastered himself is mightier still.
17:31 Nose Slap! It’s an interesting brand, definitely works though! I use it whenever I start to nod off during work..
The beauty of Chick-fil-a is consistency. It's never going to be a world beater, but its rarely a bad experience.
plus whatever kind of crack they put in there to make it so addictive. Damn it's 9AM and my mouth is watering.
For me the formula years ago was 5 ketchup packets, two mayo and one hot sauce for the sandwich and for a large fries. When Heinz came out with those huge packets, then it was two of those.
Can't go wrong.
To each their own but CFA is undefeated in my opinion.
i think their chicken sandwich is mad overrated, but their waffle fries will always be top tier
@@wifiguy51 The waffle fries are heaven
Thank you SO MUCH for including the southeast's Bojangles in this!!!!! It's one of my favorite fast food spots, and finally seeing it included in something makes my heart so dang happy!
The biscuits.. I mean, they're crispy. Utter PERFECTION. ❤❤
Man, living in CA I'm feeling the jealousy right now. Next time I'm visiting my folks in FL maybe!
Nearest Jollibee to me is almost 2 hours away, but next time I’m around that area, I’ll try their chicken sandwich
Arby’s in Canada has this chicken sandwich with honey mustard and bacon on it and it’s one of my favourites tbh
Vic has the hardest job in the world, sitting with them in car for ungodly amount of time right after they ate so many chicken sandwiches 😂
The farts in that car must have been atrocious. Our hearts go out to you, Vic.
0:05 The video left a mark in my heart and will be remembered for a long time.
Also the keep ordering two sandwiches, so no food for Vic, or maybe he gets the leftovers
The reaction to an employee outside of Chickfila saying my pleasure had me, a previous employee of cfa dying 😂🤣
I don’t know if it qualifies as fast food using your criteria, but you should try Fry The Coop in IL if you’re ever up this way, Get the Nashville chicken sandwich. Take care choosing the heat level because they don’t mess around.
The thing is with fast food restaurants is it's location dependent. KFC sandwich I've had here in MD is really good and a solid 6.7. While Bojangles was dry and basic and a 2.2.
You should’ve done the McCrispy chicken sandwich from McDonald’s not their mcchicken
Same with BK
they still suck tho so who cares, not like they had a chance against Popeyes or Jollibee
Should have done both
mcdonalds old version of the McCrispy, the southern style chicken sandwich was LIGHTYEARS better than the McCrispy and by far the closest to a Chick fil a sandwich they ever had and not a day goes by that im not angry that they dont serve it anymore, huge L for mcdonalds
Agreed. If they're evaluating the new wave of chicken sandwiches, then they f'd up here.
As a Filipino, I'm very proud of Jollibee's win! Forever the number one favorite fast food chain of the Filipinos 🫡🤤
We love to hear it!! 🎉
Im from the philippines but i love kfc. Mcdo is overrated
I appreciate the Filipino love but there’s no way jollibees has the best chicken sandwich over Popeyes, CFA, Dave’s, or SS
Bro the line at chick fil a moves at lightning speed
Never had Jollibee, but as soon as I heard it was last to test, I knew it was a wrap. Jollibee is the fave of a lotta people.
I think they have to due the fact joshua was beaten by jolly spaghetti in but better videos
I was hesitant of trying Jollibee's chicken sando at first because it was a lot more expensive than their other stuff but when I tried it for the first time I was hit with a realization. It's soooo worth it. I'm glad you got to try it and even rated it high too. Jollibee ftw!
Repent and obey Jesus, No hypocrites will enter the kingdom of God!! You can’t say you love Jesus and live in willful sin that’s playing the hypocrite and You will go to hell if you don’t repent and start obeying Jesus. Jesus says that most people go to hell!! Why? Because they believe they love Jesus but their lifestyle doesn’t show that they love Jesus
Don't be discouraged at the Chick-fil-A line if it's long. Their lines move super fast and it ensures everything is fresh
As an Australian I'm blown away with how many different fast food chains you have...wow...we have less then 10 different franchises
Yeah, they are like a cancer here. Every corner of every city.
I’m surprised your Popeyes Chicken Sandwich was so small. All the ones I’ve had were pretty thick & juicy, though some were lacking on the sauce and one had too much to the point it was too salty
The one major criticism I've had of Popeyes is that their consistency is pretty meh (and their buildings typically look like I would not want to be there late at night...).
Honestly, if I see a popeyes and almost any other fast food restaurant (and I'm on the road), I'd take popeyes over it if I want a chicken sandwich (never had Jollibees... which I will be rectifying soon!). As an aside, I just don't understand some of the rankings. I've had a lot of these (some more than I want to admit) and some of them are just not that bad. McD's McChicken isn't so bad (it's not good... let's not mix words). Like, Burger King and the McChicken shouldn't even be close. That thing is a broken condom (technically, the broken condom probably has more sauce).
I don't get the Carl's Jr love. The last one I had tasted like a Chickfila ripoff.

@@descendency Popeyes has the best fast food chicken sandwich out of all the places I have tried, by far. That said some others were really close. I've had the Arby's one and was surprised at how good it was, although mine was a bit dry like in this video, the flavor was surprisingly good, it was like 7/10 of what Popeyes is most of the time, which was unlikely.
@@escapetherace1943 Yeah Popeyes is by far the best for fried chicken sandwich (or just plain fried chicken), Jollibees is totally average. Chick fil-a is 2nd. I was not impressed by his burger reviews either.
@@burnertrump875😱😱😱horrible.
Would you also want to include a price component on it? It will really put into perspective how much value they are adding in the food
I was thinking the same. Like a score / dollar ratio per restaurant.
I think just adding the price would be fine. But not to add it to the score. This is about flavor overall who cares about price it's fast food anyway.
Wrong way of thinking. Things shouldn’t be given a higher score or even a passing grade because it’s cheap. If anything it should tell you it’s not real meat and should be avoided.
Streetfoodaround here
@@FrankDux-uo7ig Not real meat? Gimme a break. None of the sandwiches here have fake meat.
and the toastness of the mc's had me surprised
love to see him do this in Australia
Yep, I have to agree. The bee’s chicken sandwich highlights the chicken itself. As I’ve mentioned before that Filipino taste focuses more on local herbs and spices native to the islands. Filipinos do not often use imported spices. Big reason why you won’t find a lot of veggies or a thick sauce in that sandwich.
made me wait the whole video just to get to jollibee but that's riiiiiight absolutely deserved!! as someone who works at one of their branches and prepares the sandwiches it is by far one of my favourites on the menu and knowing it's ranked nr 1 here makes me so so happy
Generally don't get takeaway chicken sandwiches unless the store does chicken. Red Rooster (Australian) started doing fried alonside their roast chicken and it is pretty good.
I think it would be interesting to do this again with like the top 5 BUT go super in depth- order the same sandwich multiple times throughout the week
As a former KFC managing partner, if you find the right restaurant with the right leadership, a freshly prepared spicy chicken sandwich at 1030 in the morning is hard to beat! But like you said, it has to be fresh oil and freshly cooked. Hit me up if you want to do a fresh chicken sandwich duel!
