Oh my gosh, my bedroom door knob quit on me. I’m 67 and lost my husband this year. Thanks to this young man, I have a new door knob and did it all myself. Yeaaaa.
My dad reversed the doorknob on my 10 yr old brother’s door so he could lock him in there. Thanks for help!!!!! Gonna get him his privacy and freedom back!

Great video! The written instruction sheet was for several different types of knobs. Some locking, some not, some standard handle, some with a wing handle, all on one sheet of paper! It was like reading another language! Easy peazy with your instructions! Thanks very much!

I loved this video. I have a house that needs a lot of tiny repair stuff (too little to hire someone) but I know almost nothing when it comes to handyman skills. YOU made this SUPER simple. The SAD part is when I looked at your other playlists and videos hoping for learning a bunch more home repair lessons, this seems to be the only one :( I wish you would do an entire playlist of LOTs of other handyman lessons for total beginners just like this one...pretty please. :)

It only turns to the right which is frustrating so I’m taking it apart. If I cannot get it lined to make it happy, I’ll just replace it thanks to your video. So although you did this 10 years ago, thank you!!! It’s still useful in February 2024!!🎉😂

Thank you for this tutorial. I was waiting for amour maintenance guys for 2 days to come fix our door knob when the door separated and he hadn’t come yet, so I choose to look up UA-cam’s on the subject and found your video. Thanks, but was so simple and I got up and fixed the door in 10 minutes. Who needs a maintenance guy for simple projects when you can do it yourself with the help from UA-cam.

Appreciate this video. A locksmith on a property I'm renting installed the doorknob to the garage backward. This helped me learn it's okay just to flip the knobs

I had a kwikset; you're constantly changing batteries, which do not last long and then one day the pad quit working altogether and I couldn't get in the door since there wasn't a key!!! Last time for me buying one of those. Love my Kevo on the other door.

Thanks! I put on a new door knob because of you. I had to use the old door jamb mechanism because my father painted over the strike plate. Didn’t want to ruin the door trying to get it off. Fortunately it’s universal like you said. 👍
