Montebello CA just had a tornado on the 23rd I think. It is rare for tornados in California but they do happen occasionally unfortunately.

I helped warn about the many tornadoes including this one in Wynne, I don't know if any Wynne residents saw my tweets, I hope I helped someone last night. I think the more people warning about these tornadoes the better you just may help save a life. May GOD be with these people.

It is at times like this that we are humbled knowing we have no true power. But we also know that we can rise again by showing the power of love and helping one another. Praying for all affected and donating whatever I can to help overcome this devastation.

Agenda TV was reporting multiple storms last night, in multiple locations, Wynne and many other small towns were hit, He was reporting 12 hours and the storms didn't seemed to subside even as he went off air, I have never seen or heard so much wide-spread damage. I hope federal aid and Red Cross, Working Kitchens, can help these people, many thanks to all of Storm Chasers who chased after these storms then give medical help to those involved with these Tornadoes.

You can see why some victims of tornados say, it seems like it was after me. There so random yet directly impacts one home while leaving the house nextdoor intact.
God does that. He will make a tornado skip the houses of certain people.
I suppose younger people have a chance of recovery but I doubt retired senior citizens could ever recover their losses and the cherished things they've collected over the years. It's tragic to have your final years just swept away by a random act of nature. It's just lousy luck. I'm a senior and I can't quite grasp that terrible situation. One moment you're living comfortably in your home and the next moment it's all gone. Humanity is very vulnerable to nature's forces, but it's not something most of us think about until we see something like this.

Wynne Arkansas is the town I grew up in when I was younger I went to that highschool. I have family there in Wynne. When I saw on the news(live in New Hampshire now) that there was a tornado going through Wynne it hit my like a ton of bricks. Soon as I could I called my brother in law to make sure my family was safe and ok. The good Lord was looking out for them when this happened. Also this same tornado hit where my young adult children lives in Covington TN they are ok as well they were scared and but the good Lord was looking out for them as well. To the people of Wynne Arkansas who lost a family member my thoughts and prayers go out to you. I know the great people of Wynne will build back and be stronger than ever.

When I first heard about this I had to find out where it was, my cousin is living in Mt Home, but this is quite a ways from where she is in NW Arkansas. She told me a town near her was wiped out from one of these some years ago
These drones are so clear and vivid now. so helful in search and rescue. Just overwelming the damage is.

No point in wishing people prayers, help them build new one story concrete houses with steel shutters for the windows and doors. When you see chain link fences blown down it makes the power of these storms open your eyes.

i'm a canadian trucker and drive through the interstate south of there all the time. I usually park only a few miles away and have gotten tornado warnings 4 times before... now i know what was lurking nearby. This town is also not wealthy,.. i feel bad for the people there as rebuilding takes ages and lots will not be insured for this.
Arkansas is one of the poorest states.
Any house with a mortgage has insurance. That is a requirement by the bank to get the loan. The insurance is automatically included in your monthly house payment.
Homeowners insurance is cheap and most people have it. For anyone with no insurance, the federal government will come in and pay it. 😎👍🇺🇸 ✝️

Sorry this happened to this town. It sucks that there were 32 fatalities because of this storm system that produced the F4 tornado and other tornadoes. My heart goes out to the families that were effected by this with their homes destroyed.
I have a friend that I've known since high school lives I think in the suburbs of De Moines. He said the F4 that caused so much damage was an hour away from him. I'm glad him and his family were safe.

People in Guatemala build block houses with concrete roofs. They can collapse in earthquakes but might resist tornados. Wooden pagodas and houses like Japan have lasted centuries. Time for architects and engineers to think again.
