Cindy I love watching your tutorials! You are such a great teacher and make anything so easy to understand! So I thank you from the bottom of my heart because some things I wouldnt have attempted after watching and learning from you I now have the confidence to do it!! Stay safe and healthy!! 💜💙💜💙💜💙
I have been making these for years. I just learned from a fellow crafter that if you trim the batting close to the seam that it makes it easier to top stitch. It works. Thanks for the tutorial.
Great video! But a caution! Be careful when ironing onto the interfacing - Press, press, press - I ironed from left to right and as I pushed the iron, the fabric stretched onto the interfacing. leaving the right-end of the page crooked - a mistake you can't fix once ironed onto interfacing.
My daughter gave me two book panels to sew up for my grand daughters. I came here to learn how to sew it up right because instructions are not clear to me. It’s confusing some.
I just bought two of these yesterday from my local quilt shop - they’re so sweet!

I've made many of these through the years. I love your "top stitch" tip!
Where did you buy the panel?

I found one one sale at my local quilt shop. Other fabric and craft stores may have them. Etsy probably has them too
I loved this project, my kids are big so I hope these panel projects stay around for awhile
Thanks Cindy for sharing this info on sewing a soft book
