@@michaelharden6145 Yes, it is a first series 55. The 55 most people know did not come out until January 1955. I owned a first series 55 back in the 70s and the only difference in that and a 54 is the first series 55 had an open drive shaft and electric windshield wipers. In January I purchased a 53 and later this year I will build a frame from scratch with a C5 suspension front and rear and an LS engine.
Lots hard top end work done to end up with color ready for media blast..

Some people get the first series 55 confused to a 54 GM Pickup really there alot more 54s leftover in early 55 which good it was an awesome bodystyle.
