Must watch! Full restoration of a 1956 Chevrolet Bel air, time lapse from beginning to end! The Result is amazing!
Another top restoration Project here (Restoration Abandoned 1966 Ford Mustang):
• RestoMod Abandoned 196...
The owner of this 1956 Chevy Belair wanted to full ProTouring treatment. The trifive now sits on an Art Morrison chassis, a
nd is powered by a new GM Performance LS3. BilletSpecialties wheels and Wilwood disc brakes compliment the 2 tone paint. The 56 is ProTouring perfection.

Looks like doing it right
how much did it cost you please answer
I liked almost everything except the interior. I'll never forget the first '56 Chevy I saw when I was 16 yrs. old. 82 now. It was love at first sight. Still in love.
Not a restoration, more like a fabricated hot rod, would rather see a real restoration of a 56 Bel air
I know this comment will get lost, but I am 12 years old, and when I get older, I want to restore old cars for both others and myself. I would like to make my own business someday. My all time favorite car is the 1957 Chevy Bel Air, so thanks for this video!
Thank you for this comment. Sure your comment will not get lost, because we read all comments =)
I am the exact same but I’m 15.
My dream car is a 1957-1958 Plymouth.
Same here!
Not even the same car in thumb-nail. Why not?
Just one of many that they are pretty much all built with all that same common trend all very much alike with very little variation. What would be really unique is to see one that was totally all original. Those are hard to find.
Too "modern'----original restoration id better (my opinion.)
IT'S NOT A RESTORATION, IT'S TOTALLY MODIFIED, NOT BAD , OK , BUT.
The photos are wrong.....a 4 Dr before and a 2dr after?
..great body work!..it had my full attention until I saw the LS motor..then the lowered suspension..and the giant diameter wheels...
..and the interior...
To bad, a REAL restoration would have been cool. Not another knock off body use.
Who actually did the work? This music is annoying.
Beautiful build,thanks for saving her!.....love Tri-5s!
Thanks for Watching!
Yes there's a little rough at the beginning. And little misleading. What you showed on the before picture appeared before then what you showed before restoration during your video clip montage was obviously a two-door hardtop had to beginning. I turned out very nice car but thank you
Wow! According to the pic they converted a 4 door post to a 2dr hdtp.
Apparently a random pic ;) the actual original car is 2 door
@@steinbauge4591 i know that. But look at the pic on the link and the show a 4 door post as the “before” picture.
@@robertkolb228 I saw it after you pointed it out. Well, it's just a timelapse video, lots of info missing. E.g what parts did they have to start with, seems maybe just the shell. Superb result anyway.
It's a miracle ! ! !
I like to keep the car as original as possible!
One of my favorites!!!
Bastardized 56 What a shame.
omg !!!! Wooooow !! Amazing job holy crap !!!! That must have been easily a $90k restoration job !!!
U had me up until the LS and transmission swap. Where’s the challenge of bringing it back to factory original dealers show room floor quality? With the 265 V-8 or the 235 inline six with power glide transmission or three speed manual with overdrive? Or the factory 265 with 4
barrel carb, duel exhaust, coupled to the 3 speed with over drive? The car doesn’t need to haul ass like the world is coming to an end. But hauling ass the way it was able to back in the day which was still pretty damn good. Just saying.
Love this! Sharing! We had when newlyweds. Was offered $100.00 and accepted. That was a lot of money in 1969!
Nice build nice paint greatest over all I build a 1940 Chevy Coupe like
This I rebuild the frame from a 1976
Monte Carlo it went under the 1940
That's was done about 20 years ago
That 56 chevy Bel air was worth the restoration n investment
Astonishing, astounding and amazing. No detail overlooked, no shortcuts. Absolute perfection. The hours of research and work involved in this creation is nothing short of unbelievable. Huge kudos to those involved with this build. A priceless vehicle.
Terribly beautiful Bel Air, just a pity about those bling bling rims ...
Trailer Queen., not really into custom car , just factory restores, but came out pretty good.
Thanks for watching
Rear bumper began it looking like sumn.
Not funny not hearing that first voice of the engine.Dont like you guys
More money than I will ever spend on a vehicle. My pickup was 70k . This car is amazing.
Thanks =))
You do great looking work for a custom job. I can not say you do a restoration because it is changed from the original car be it inside or outside
I love it, I don't know about the wheels though, they are kinda crazy
One of the best jobs I've ever seen done I don't know what else to say😎👍👍👍👍
excellant work
Awesome vehicle shop I subscribed because I like your preparation of building the 56 Chevy Bel-Air my favorite car thank you
Me too, having to sell mine because I have to move. sucks though car is gorgeous
Where can I buy parts for that car including the interior
Beautiful restoration and nice ride .❤️
Thanks for watching
I was wondering how you restored a 4 door into a 2 door, your thumbnail was misleading.
Yes, kinda strange ain't it?
This artistry beyond imagination. Beautiful 👌👌👌
Thanks =))
BEAUTIFUL.... Wish I could by it.
Outstanding work!!!
Beautiful restoration.
👍👍
Great project!!! I love the color combination! Very nice ride
Thanks for watching and for this comment =)
Wow!... An Amazing Job... Thanks for Sharing
Thanks for watching =)
Beautiful weekend ride.
My 56 2dr Hardtop was Firemist Red and Buckskin Gold when I was 22. Had a 350 and a T-10 4 speed. Can't afford one now...
Beautiful restoration through and through. I remember these cars very well. I rode in enough of the in the sixties. They were all around then. Love the colors.
thanks @Larry
@@GarageAuto You're quite welcome.
Excellent Craftsmanship
great shell to start with as it appeared to be virtually rust-free!
I restored a 1956 4 dr hardtop-Belair, and it was plum and white. I didn’t dismantle
It from the frame, but changed the front brakes to discs, and punched the engine out to a 283 cubic inch, and had the aluminum transmission rebuilt, too. My Son drove it to high school. The previous owner said the body is so thick on those, that they used to sit on it, and have picnics.
Wicked!
That is one beautiful car, I'd rather own this than a Ferrari or Lamborghini or any other super car, this a one off and stunning 😎😎😎😎
That was amazing how much would the car cost to buy or restore.
That was a great proyect! Congrats!
How sweet she is, thank you for sharing with all us.
Just one word: Sublime. Greetings from Venezuela 🇻🇪🇩🇪
Is the most gorgeous 56 i ever seen! the combinations of colos the interiors!#1🌟🏆🏆🏆😉👍
Excellent job guys!!!
awesome.... would have liked a 56 wagon bumper or frenched license plate and fused the 3 piece bumper into one
Thanks Rob =)
More like a rebuild with all modern parts. The best of all worlds, probably a far better car and with the beauty of the 50s design.
I'd like to know how in the thumb nail it shows a 2 door post and the after shows a 2 door hard top
It's even more off -- the thumbnail actually shows a 4-door post.
Yeah, I came here wanting to know how in the world a 4 door sedan was converted to a 2 door hardtop???!! Just click bait. Put on here by someone that doesn’t know their cars very well. It was a 2 door hardtop (and in very good shape to begin with)......but they did an amazing job, especially with all the metal work
I used to have one very similar in Cuba. The video brings me great memories. Can you share how much it cost a restoration like this one?
One of my favorite cars.
Sensacional espetáculo, restauração maravilhosa, quero esse carro pra mim. Kkkkk
What an awesome job you have done on this 56 Chevy! Just beautiful 👍
Thanks for watching
Wow . Awsome ride. Nice work
Amazing restoration.....congrats !!
=) thanks
She’s happy again!
Absolutely Beautiful 😁😁
WOW!!! I love the color combo, but I had a '56 Chevy back in the day painted one color: Candy Apple Red, and it made my Chevy REALLY stand out. Would have loved to see that one color used here.
Really nice!!
Fantástico! Parabéns!🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Magnificent 56!; when can you do my 56 Nomad?
Great work
Thanks !
Great work - respect !!!!
Thanks! Subscribe for more =)
$$$$$$$$. Beautiful!
Thanks
Save cars? What a waste of an old car and a ton of money! And pewter over candy apple red? Major color clash. That thing is as fake as a a pair silicon double D's!
even though she has fake breasts i still love them
Beautiful! 👍
Thanks
I like the stars on 45 music at the beginning
Looks absolutely STUNNING ❤❤❤
A crew that knows what they are doing my hat is off to you what a beautiful 56 show quality👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks @Marvin. Every time we try to improve the video and show quality =)
Carro dos meus sonhos
Nice work 👍
In one word BEAUTIFUL well done, greetings from The Netherlands
Thank you
How come your before shows a sedan and the is a two door
Too hot to be a trailer queen. This needs daily driving, to hell with the consequences!
yes!
Beautiful workmanship!!!!!!!!
An absolute masterclass in restoration.
That is simply stunning
Thank you
@@GarageAuto Bloody mean
Stunning! Love this channel!
This was done perfect to the tea
Wow, fantastic restoration. The 1956 Bel Air has always been my abdolute favorite car of all time. I've always wanted one but never had the time or money to get one. So far that's the best restoration I've ever seen.
Melbourne Beach Florida 🌴🇺🇸 USA I prefer restoration. Your priorities different. 👍 🏄
All I have to say is "WOW".
Thanks!! First comment=)
Beautiful restoration! Only, the introduction of the video was a bit misleading. That is, I thought it was about modifying a 4dr into a 2dr hardtop as that's what it showed in the "before" and "after" introduction.
This 56 is about the most Beautiful of all I watched from beginning to finish just amazing Beauty keep up the Great work the 54 is going to look great as well love you Army Rod also
Absolutely beautiful. I love the chrome trimming. I love everything about this car.
Nice work on everything BUT interior and rims.
Thanks
