- Ohuhu versus Caliart. You all have been asking for Caliart, well here it is. I put Caliart against Ohuhu and the difference is interesting. I feel these two performed great but as always I love hearing your thoughts so let me know what you think! Who won?

I just bought some Caliart makers. I mostly will be using them to under coat for my colored pencil mixed media art.
It's pretty juicy and affordable so I enjoy them.
I own both and I use both for my art projects and art in general than I do on paper and I love both but I have to say caliart takes the cake because they have more coverage better blending and way more skin and hair variety of colors

I bought a large 81 set two years ago and those CaliArts really hold up! I still have a lot of them. These markers last forever it seems.

I ended up with Caliart markers when I asked for ohuhu ones this Christmas, but I absolutely love them, they’re life changing, I was originally coloring with sharpies, which is surprisingly good, yet different due to bleeding

Yay!!! You got a Jazza plug in there!!! Also, love that you did this comparison. I was wondering if the markers on Amazon were all the same. Because, it's very interesting to me that the barrels are the nearly the same, and with the water color marker sets being exact duplicates. For instance, I purchase my wife's set first, which was Hethrone, and the barrels are the exact same as the Ohuhu water color set, that I purchased for myself. Except what I noticed is that they did not have a numbering system indicated on the barrel, that Ohuhu does. As I was just looking up an order I placed on Amazon, for a set of color pencils, I noticed, that there was yet a "new" brand of water color markers that had the same barrels too. So, I was wondering if it was like how Jennifer Stay at Coloring Bliss stated, how they were thinking of going into the branding on medium products, like color pencils and markers. However, they decided against it, because then they would have to promote just their brand. And they like to do this, where they compare and contrast many different brands to help consumers make decisions! They also made mention on their channel about how they would have no control over the product quality.

Probably would go Ohuhu if the pricing was still the same, But apparently they have gone up drastically since the posting of this video. 40$ for 60 markers, Where as I can get 100 Caliart markers for 40$ at the time of me posting this. Gotta go with the better deal at this point.

Will you ever review the Shinhan Touchtwin markers? I always hear people talking about them and how cheap marker brands use the same color system, but never actually see a review, and now I kinda want to know what they’re like.
Yes I definitely want to get those. Haven't had a chance due to budget, but yes I hear ALOT of people talk about them. Hopefully soon!! 🥰

I have those ^^', I can definitely tell you that they seem a bit oilier than most alcohol markers. From my experience they blend pretty well and the colours are quite vibrant :)

I have caliart brush tip ones and I fin them working really nice bu most lids don't match the actual color it comes out to look like srry if I spelt things wrong I'm in a hurry and love your art your amazing

Hi~~~ would love to know what kind of paper you are using here. I tried using ink jet paper and marker papers with my caliarts and the results were terrible 😣 the inks kept getting pushed around and had white streaks in them. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated 💕

2/I/23 Ijust bought the 121 set of Caliart Art duel bullet tip markers from Amazon. They do not have the side sticker with the color name or number, only the color # on the end of the .marker. It came in a cloth bag with no paperwork at all, so there is no way of knowing the color name of any of them. I will have to see if I can tell by looking at the listing on Amazon. This is obviously not the same set that you have. Can you tell me where to get the set you reviewed here a couple of years ago, please? I would appreciate it very much. Thank you so much!

I bought the caliart markers. I've had them for 3 weeks. I already have at least 10 that are already dried out. I contacted the seller via email 4 days ago and I haven't heard anything. I looked for a website and I couldn't find one. I'll never buy caliart again.😖
Oh no! That's definitely not good. Most alcohol markers have roughly 7 to 8 pages worth of ink. Or at least they should. Hmm, maybe I'll do a How Many Pages video with Caliart. Thanks for sharing!

I love Breakfast Woman ☺ I have a huge pack of caliarts. They've done really well for me. I practiced in coloring books before trying an original.
Could you do a review with lemouchet markers. They’re suppose to be similar with touch new markers. And I have some but I don’t care for how the markers blend I could never get them to blend without bleaching out the colors. I have no trouble blending Caliart and ohuhu but those darn lemouchet markers make me angry when I try to blend, also the darker skin colors for lemouchet are bleh all washed out like with a grey tone but the pale skin tones are good
I'll definitely look into it. I've heard of them and heard they werent all that great either haha. If they're within my budget, I'll see about checking them out. Thanks for the recommendation 🥰

Caliart seems to be good but Ohuhu has more to choose from like they are brush nibs and soon more individual markers so in the end Ohuhu wins for me cuz they have more variety to their brand

I have been debating a cheap alternative to Copic.
I know the first thing what UA-camrs artist say that practice for good art but what would you say if you would get good art but don’t say practice because I just wondering what you would say and they both look so good and also love your videos they inspire me. Hmm, so practicing is the foundation to getting better at anything, but if I couldn't choose that, then I would say study other artists. So many artists on instagram and UA-cam have speed drawings to view. I recommend checking them out and really watching how they accomplish sketching, and inking, and coloring. And if you're able to do so, I also recommend taking an art class that covers the basics. That would definitely help you improve.
