This is exactly the type of video I needed. It’s nice to see the quantitative differences in the number of colors available. Looking at photos of swatches or the markers themselves wasn’t super helpful for getting an idea of how many more/less colors and tones you get which each set! Thank you :)
YES!! omg YES!! i agree with your statement on there needing to be more reds, not even specifically about Ohuhu, any brand. i main using Spectrum Noir and i love the quality of the markers but they have so few sets with real reds in them, usually just pinks/magenta. there are 6 marker sets online and does have a Red set but, idk its kinda frustrating and i agree :/
Rachelle, your content is by far some of the best on UA-cam. Your the type of awesome person who doesn’t say: before I do this…” you just get to the point. Your awesome, keep making great content. 🙃
thanks for this video it really helped me. Bought a handful of copic ciao markers before i found out about ohuhu. now i am going to get the big set so i have a full range of colour
Great review. I bought the 320 set Honolulu B set. I love my markers. I color for pain therapy. I was told they had refills. They do not have all colors. Also they are hard to find. On Amazon they charge for the shipping on the 1 refill I got. It cost me $12.00. I do background coloring and can go through ink fast. I’m considering jumping off the Ohuhu band wagon and switching to Dick Blick who has refills and open stock.
@@DebbyLong777 please let me know if and when you do. So far Ohuhu is my favorite but I also don’t like that not every color is available in refill form.
Thanks for the video! I noticed the barrel looks different than the ones on Amazon. In the video it's more flat, kind of like the copic sketch. Did they change the design of the marker?
You should get the full set if you do it that way, depending on if you buy the right sets. I know they have some various sets based on different things like the Honolulu or the Oahu etc.. but I’m not 100% sure. I know in a video jazza did he did say if you get the 200 then the 120 you’ll have the full 320 set but I’m not sure. I only have the 120 set.
i know its 11 months later but to get the same colors with no duplicates you should get the 216 and 104 sets. Or just get the 320 set. I think. You should double check because I know that's true for the Honolulu series and I have the 320 set of those and they are wonderful. Consider looking in the differences between Honolulu and Oahu sets. :)
Im looking for less opaque for skin and sky hues, a really faint blue and a light tan which ohuhu doesnt have because they are too vibrant. The only flaws ive found witht these markers besides the cap not matching the ink 😂.
@RachelleByersArt absolutely!! As of right now i had to buy some copics to get those specific colors. Im hoping ohuhu listens to us and creates more dull or tinted colors so we can create more realism like with windsor or copic.
@@lifewithbreion1392 do you find that the copics work well with the Ohuhu? I haven’t tried mixing brands together because I wasn’t sure what the outcome would be
@RachelleByersArt yes they do, paper dependent... but copics are like the "inbetween" colors we need from ohuhu. I also blend with the windsor & newton. They all work well if you have experience layering, which you have 🙂

Ga dan voor de copics rode kleuren zat
I hope they eventually change the colour naming system to be the same as the 320 pack

You're the best! Thank you so much for this comment.
This is the perfect comparison. Thank you, makes everything clearer.
Thank you! Looking for a decision maker. I didnt know which set to chose.
Glad I could help!
Ty for doing this def buying the 200 set I'm happy with all the colors. I like more soft muted colors

This means a lot, thank you. I like the Ohuhu markers and have yet to try the brush marker version but hope to sometime soon. Happy creating 😊

I am sorry I wrote this. They now are stocked up on refills
It happens! Did you end up trying the dick blick brand?
@@RachelleByersArt not yet. I am going to switch though. I’ve thrown out to many empty markers that don’t have refills.

They’re different depending on which ones you get, whether older or newer sets or if you get chisel/bullet tip or chisel/brush tip.
If you buy the 200 set and then buy the 120 set will the colors be the same or do you have 320 color various
I think you’ll have a lot of duplicate colors
