@@YoungAussieFlyer unfortunately first class does not fit in their market. Though soon they will introduce the “crystal” business class suites, similar to QSuites.
Nice review Luke, looks like a solid experience with Turkish! . I have been looking forward to this one and it didn’t disappoint! Definitely an airline to put on the bucket list one day! Reckon there is Defs a market case for direct Perth to Istanbul flights as the eastern gateway to Europe from Australia! Do you have a new phone?, I’ve just noticed your last few reviews now in 4k which is great :)
I’ve got a question here, do passengers flying from Istanbul to Melbourne need to get off the plane in Singapore? Or they wait inside the plane until you guys board?
Yes all passengers must disembark in SIN even if you are going through to MEL. There’s a crew change, the aircraft is re-catered and the cabin is cleaned.
My family being Turkish decided back in 1985 to fly for a holiday back to Turkey with Turkish Airlines. They flew Singapore Airlines from Sydney to Singapore then changed and flew Turkish from Singapore to Istanbul. I dont know much about the flight as i was a baby back then BUT my parents absolutely hated the service on board, back then the flight attendants were lazy, refused to do the meal service and were rude to the passengers. The only time they ever saw any semblance of service was on the return flight from Istanbul to Singapore, there was a Turkish Diplomat on board and the flight attendants were doing services until the diplomat got off somewhere in the middle east during a fuel stop and the service once again stopped. My parents swore they'd never ever fly Turkish Airlines again even if the tickets were free. I've heard stories about how good their service is nowadays but still my parents refuse to fly even though its their national carrier of their home country.
Awesome video mate, great to see Turkish Airlines on Australian Soil 🙏🙏
I know right! So cool!
Amazing video! Turkish Airlines is really great, and good competition with Emirates and Qatar.
I agree, I just wish they had a first class product

Putting milk in your tea is not a thing in Turkiye. Equal to sacrilage LOL. Prolly you have confused the flight attendant with your request!
Well I have never been to Turkey and I don't know their customs, nor have I ever flown with Turkish before...
20:04 station chief talking on the phone. nice man. nice vid.
He has important work to do!
Glad we live in Australia we are so relaxed about calling home 😅
Uninteresting video. I regret that I'm even commenting but did you go back and close all of the lids you left open in the lounge?
And yet you watched it, funnily enough your view actually got me money so thanks for giving me your money 🥰

One can have their own opinion - Turkish was a bit of mixed feelings for me
