  • Wizzair fly from UK to Jeddah from several UK airports via several of their European hubs. In this review video, I took a return flight from London Luton (LTN) via Budapest(BUD) to Jeddah(JED). There were things I discovered throughout the journey and at my destination which I wish I knew before. Hopefully this video will help you make an informed decision as to whether flying Wizzair from UK to Jeddah is right for you.

    BarakAllahoe fiek for this review. I almost did a similar journey one year ago with my mom, but at the last moment the price went up. After watching this, I'm thankful I didn't. In sha Allah I will go next month with my mom using Flynas from Brussels. The basic fare was 320 EUR, but as I'm travelling with an elderly, I chose for the full package, amounting to 484 EUR, which still is a good deal I think.

      Definitely choose a more full service and more direct route if travelling with elderly.

      More choice is ultimately always good for prices and the consumer.

    Jazak Allahu khairan for your informative video. It's a lot of hassle having to check in again on the way. I would need a suitcase on my return, too, so might be better going with Saudi. I prefer going Medina first, so would want the train to connect from the airport. Landing at North terminal is a hassle.

      Yes it can make sense to take Saudi or another full service carrier.

      I managed to get in my Ihram and all my clothes. 7 days of underwear, couple of t shirts and trousers. You can always buy your ihram over there if you go medina first before Makkah. You can always buy clothes at Makkah and medina. On the way back I donated my ihram locally and got the rest of my clothes back with me.

    As salamou alaykoum
    Did they let you pray standing up in the airplane or you have to pray being sit please ?
    Thanks for the video !

      There’s no space to pray. You could potentially book row 29 and pray in that area. Most will have to just pray sitting on their seat.

    All wizz air is in nort terminal ? And how you can get the HHR train ?

    • @TheTravelTipsGuy
      @TheTravelTipsGuy  2 місяці тому

      Yes all wizzair flights land and take off in north terminal. The train station is located in the south terminal therefore you have to get a taxi or a bus from north terminal to south terminal.

      @@TheTravelTipsGuy do you know hoq to get the bus from nort to south terminal is there free to get the bus?

    • @TheTravelTipsGuy
      @TheTravelTipsGuy  2 місяці тому

      @@munawarsalam2785 It isn’t free. There is a counter just before the exit that sells bus tickets. I have read that there is meant to be a free shuttle bus between the terminals but I was unable to find it. Also as I was rushed for time, I had no choice but to take a taxi which cost 150 SAR.

    I had an awful awful experience with Wizz Air from Gatwick to Hurghada. Plus a crazy passenger on the way back.
    Never flying with them again.

      Yeah the crowd on the flight to Budapest weren’t great either. Wizzair for me is ruled out if it involves children or elderly as it’s too much stress. For singletons, lads, girls, young people trips it’s fine as it’s the same as Ryanair etc. With low cost carriers I find it best to set your expectations very low.
