After open Boarders for 4 years every FAMILY needs this kit. WAKE up AMERICA 🇺🇸
Very nice setup. I would add a couple of items if there is room. A fixed blade knife, small ear pro such as foam or gel, a couple of bandanas for sweat or as a rag to get mud off a lens, etc., and a small bottle of gun oil. If there is room.
Excellent addition
The taliban didn't need f-15s... just being honest
OK? That's politics. We could glass that place if we had the fortitude.
Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
These Moutain Goats killed more Russians than US killed Taliban. Just think how we would defend USA given a need to. By 2050, we will see an honest split between Red & Blue states. I thought we would have Civil War after US Government murdered Pres. JFK in Dallas,Texas on Nov. 22/1963!
@@xmrplayboy9753it would be the same here, you think the american gov would nuke itself if the people took up arms? They would have nothing left to "govern". Not to mention the outside pressure around the globe
True, it only took a corrupt anti-American POS puppet dictatorship to be installed
UA-cam was originally created by people who just want to show off their kit and I'm happy to see it's being used as intended.
Sort of, but maybe not. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
I have gained some really nice tips on this man's UA-cam channe , it has helped me a lot. Why do you think he's just showing off stuff? Are you just a jealous type of person?
UA-cam was created for people to find popular videos: think Janet Jackson's Superbowl incident (which happened a little over a year before the website opened to the public) or "Lazy Sunday" of SNL fame (which came out ten months after the website was open).
@@AnthonyBattagliaPTEUA-cam was actually created so everyone can see the Charlie bit my finger video
What are you some kind of a commie get out of here.
Nice kit! I used to buy a minimum of 7 mags for each AR I own. Going off of what I carried during my deployments, 210 round combat load. Plus 3 mags of 9mm for the beretta. Now I buy a minimum of 10 mags for any firearm I own. Can never really have too many mags though.
10 mags are a nice start. 20 is my comfort zone. 10 for hand guns
Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
After Grenada, I got 7 223 mags. 7 45 mag. Such a long time ago. May need to visit the gun shop soon. Ammo, mags and more.
Agreed. You can never have enough mags, especially when anti-gunners are constantly trying to ban everything.
I have 0 experience and no room to talk. But I wouldn’t change anything. Great set up. And we are talking gun kit here not med kit. That’s a separate subject. God bless.
For people looking for a great gun light.... the Streamlight Polytac X fits standard light mounts and works with both 18650 rechargeables and DL123 batteries. Best thing is that you get 3+ hours of life out of the light per charge/set of batteries at 600 lumens. The extra modes (like strobe and low) can be locked out as well, allowing for quicker light manipulation. They're also light-weight and tough. Oh, and they sell for around 50 bucks. I have several on my guns and have used the lights on duty for the past four years. Spare rechargeable batteries are cheap, so I stick with those.
Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
Streamlight is the people's champ.
I live in the woods, longest clear shot is maybe 50 yards. I run a eotech with 3x flip to side magnifier. Feels perfect for me.
Nice. I am looking at a magnifier. With my older eyes, I think I need a 6x. I live in the woods too, but I can stretch out to 150 - 200 if needed. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
I have that same set up. Love it!
@@AnthonyBattagliaPTE I have the same issues with my eyesight I ended up going with a Trijicon 1-4 AccuPoint with a simple post reticle. It’s like an ACOG with the ability to reduce magnification and has a much more forgiving eye box
Yah I run a 11.5 upper with a 1-6. For any civilian purpose it has plenty of range. That upper balistically and accurately capable out to 400m for me.
If you're working an 11.5" 77gr OTM are extremely good and of course the most - second most abundant round should be the green tips.
I will preface this with I have never bought a complete AR rifle. For those of us on a budget, buying quality parts every month gets us a quality rifle with better parts that we pick is a better way to go. That $1500 rifle is now $100-200 a month without interest. Buy the stripped lower, get a good trigger, basic M4 buffer tube with spring and buffer, and the stock you want will take you a couple of months. Barrel, upper receiver, gas block, and hand guard will take 2-3 months on that budget. An armorer will put the whole thing together (properly) for (around me) $150. Get basic irons until you can afford an optic. I personally went with Vortex Strike Eagles as they are priced decently and are good enough glass to do what I want. It might take you a few months, but you'll get a great rifle kit without dropping a lot of cash at once. Just my take.
Great advice! I'd do a video on that, BUT UA-cam would have a fit. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours.
You tube really sucks!
Sezzle is your Friend !
Add a fixed full tang bush knife, a medium to large folder knife, and a multi tool such as a leatherman. Throw in a boonie hat for good measure and a pair of gloves.
Totally agree, you are right.
Add a fixed blade knife like the mini K-Bar. I cut a piece of sponge just slightly larger than the cavity in my pistol grip and from the top, inserted allen keys and hex keys for the possible maintenance items (now they're always available) and from the side of the sponge, I cut a slot for a plastic wrapped CR2032 battery spare for the optic. Other than that, nice kit.
Right on agree.
I carried a 20 inch for a whole deployment. Loved it
Good kit,
Things I would add that dont take up much room,
"Face covering"
Small Cleaning kit
Lubricant
Small gun specific tool kit
Extra batteries
Eye pro
Electronic hearing
Comms of some kind even if it's a phone bluetooth or wired earpiece to be hands free.
An option I could suggest would use angled BUIS if you're using a LPVO. I found the angled sights to useful if you are using magnification at the time. A quick turn of the rifle allows the back up sights instead of trying to sight through a LPVO. Great video with very useful info.
Great video. I love my G45 (19x) but in an shtf situation I would go for my 19 because you have the freedom of using a 19 or 17 mag.
I like the kit. My first purchase for my first AR 15, a SOLGW (Sons of Liberty Gun Works) 16" Loyal 9 FSB (forged front sight base), LFT (liberty fighting trigger) was the Magpul R44 hard case with DAKA grid system. After that I had to update the handguard to the Magpul MOE MLOK handguard for a mid length gas system. I got a M1 padded sling, the Magpul bipod and an AFG (angled fore grip) three OEM magazines and of course, ammo. I am looking at lights and optics currently. I just recently zeroed the Magpul flip up rear reticle that came on it. I also plan to upgrade the carbine adjustable stock that came with it. Strong likelihood that will also be a Magpul product. The one on it is functional but not ideal.
Aero precision offers a small entire internal parts kit for around $40-50 incase you lose a small spring of something that goes inside the AR, I think that’s crucial, 1 small part hits the ground and vanishes into the abyss that AR is useless. Awesome video & setup broski
Yes very well said and true
Good stuff, I always appreciate a sane approach to being prepared. I agree on the 16 inch, it covers all the basis I do the same thing you do and have multiple optics assigned to a gun. A good drill for anyone wondering is to swap out optics, to include irons, at the range while shooting to understand if there are any noticeable shifts in zero. With modern optics and good mounts I’ve never really noticed a change in zero by removing or remounting them. I would be curious as to other’s experiences.
Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours.
I like the Primary Arms ACSS Prism optics in 3x or 5x. They also make good LVPOs
I've got the 3x, it's very nice. Budget friendly for someone who misses using an acog
2X rules the close to medium.
Great kit sir, think it’s time for me to keep things tidy in one place, thanks
You bet. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
Damn deep pockets bro! That's a 2000 dollar optic! Good for you!
From southern Nevada where it gets QUITE hot. Thank you for the chance PB.
3:35, 16" does not maximize the 5.56. 20" barrels maximize the round. 16" is because apparently, everyone will be deploying from vehicles and doing clearing of buildings.
Yes, 20" would maximize velocity and "effective" range, but 16" maximizes the 5.56 vs say a 10" or shorter than 16" barrel. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
Not much difference between 16 and 20 inch fps
@TwinNthem it's the difference between a watermelon with a hole or a watermelon in a thousand pieces all over the range... just saying 🤷♂️
@@HellfishX88 it's crazy that just 200 more feet per second could generate that much more energy
@HellfishX88 I honestly don't remember it being that much more energy transferred on a jell test I seen done which was green tip maybe it has something to do with ammo choice
Thank you for this video & it’s content! I’ve needed this info, but previous videos have not been this concise & possess good information presented clearly!
I'm finding too many things aren't actually part of the kit so much as part of the GUN, e.g. BUIS, sling, light....
1. Lockable hard case
2. Intact rifle system
3. Intact pistol (system)
4. Cleaning/lube kit for each
5. Repl. springs for both
6. 5 loaded spare mags ea
7. Supressor
8. Quality knife
9. Multi tool/armorer tool
10. Spare optics batteries
11. Cased eye protection
12. Ear protection
13. Binoculars
14. Waterproof notebook/pen
I love an lpvo, i use both an AR15 and an AR10. Really a game changer and with a nice throw lever it makes it nice and easy to reach out quickly. Fixed blade I would add, thank you! Excellent ideas
Great practical video, the concept of one to go is very important because certain situations don’t allow you to assemble a bag and find all the right things that fit together and then leave I can imagine a wonderful comedy video of the two situations assemble a bag with your 10 components and get out the door vs Grab and go
Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
I had the magpul flip ups but decided when I switched to LVPO to get iron canted sights...short range transition is so much easier.
Love the idea of a kit. I have a Stag Arms 15 with 16” barrel. Left hand receiver. Used this platform when a a a Deputy Sheriff. Side arm I carry an Sig P228 in 9mm, also was my duty side arm. I also have 6 magazines for my AR that was in my rifle bag, but I do have more. I had 3 magazines that I carried on my duty belt total of 4. I am retired but I would add my ASP baton to the kit. It does come in handy.
Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours. Stay safe.
Thanks for the comment and from someone with experience.
That was all good but you forgot a very important item. Batteries. For the holographic system and LPO. Batteries dont last and there’s nothing more frustrating and dangerous is not being able to see. Just my opinion thanks again
Great thought! You are right! My LPVO would be fine as the batteries only power the dot, but not the holographic. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours.
This is my first time seeing your vids man and when I heard step one and I have a Plano box I said this guy knows his stuff… for step number two I was outside my house finding a good quality rock as well 😂
For those that want a med kit..I agree. But I have to ask, after the trauma care is performed, what is the intermediate care plan? Surgery, wound care, convalescence? I get stopping the bleed. Very important. Just as important is the full scale hospital to keep you alive after you stopped the trauma. Gonna be kind of hard when you are resisting tyranny from a system that controls the hospitals and most surgeons.
Very good point, most people never never consider logistics like medical and resupply etc.
Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
Most US health care folks help whomever needs help, no matter the political situation. Those folks also live in your community, as well. This is why community building is so important. Major equipment and medicines will not be an option, but humanity has done alot with alot less in our years prior. Also, just grab some nursing school books to have on hand for general purpose knowledge. Fortunately, I'm married to a nurse, so those things are all set. Share the knowledge- that is the foundation of any successful society.
There's nothing wrong with a willing vet or docs you wouldn't generally go to. A mortician wouldn't be the worst choice. They do know the body atleast.
Kinda swapped it up. Instead of 5.56. I went 13.5 ar-10 in 308. Same level of ammo availability, any place that sells ammo will have 5.56 and 308. Smaller size then 16” 5.56 and still a lot more punch out to even 350yrds then 5.56 muzzle energy from the shorty.
I’m actually looking into 1 of those thermal red dots for it from holosun, plus a magnifier 3x. Realistically it’s built to be a 0-275yrd rig. No need for more than that truly.
Side arm wise I’d grab my canik, but just preference over glocks. 9mm is plentiful like 308, so never a worry of ammo shortage. Even though my EDC is a xdm 10mil.

Good vid bro.. This is apparently a video of what to have on your rifle…..I misunderstood the title.
Ranger bands work good for slings as well. They have a million uses and are very very affordable.
Vortex spitfire 3x is what I run. If you need close in you should be using your irons.
Gun case is unnecessary it only allows you to have everything you need in a case for transport and storage, especially if a rifle and pistol is all you have at home and you don’t find a need for a gun safe. But if you intend to use it for home defending or survival, your gun kit should include a gun belt and have everything on your belt along with an IFAK.
I’m on the thermal scope wagon now. That tool would be a super power in the woods. At night it gets pitch black here, can’t see your hand in front of your face. Been looking at the agm rattler c 384. Can see small rodents at 100 yards.
One day I will get a thermal, one day! Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
I’ve been only using Aimpoint red dots but o just recently bought my first LPVO. It’s a Trijicon VCOG 1x8. So this is definitely a new experience for me. It added some weight for sure. So I’m not sold on it yet. But I like it a lot. Mine also has a LaRue quick release mount. Thank you for a great video!
Very nice! I understand the VCOG is bulletproof pretty much. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
@@AnthonyBattagliaPTE God bless you and your family also!!
A cat tourniquet, a med kit, a belt carrier system and a cleaning kit.
Yes, this video is just on the "gun kit". All my things that go bang and their immediate accessories in one box. I daily carry medical and other gear along with my carry gun. This "gun kit" is on standby as needed at home. Hope that makes sense? Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
Olight is a great option instead of surefire or stream light. They recharge using a cord so there’s no batteries to worry about just a cord that you might need to recharge it and they are basically the same cost. The Olight might actually be a little bit cheaper.
I chose the Trijicon VCOG for my DD Mark 12, which is built like a freakin' tank!

Where I live, and in several other states, I have to transport rifle cased, unloaded, and separate from ammunition; your having loaded mags in the same case will be frowned at by an anti AG. No such impediment for an AR pistol though - you can have it loaded and at the ready. Just a thought. IANAL.
16-inch barrel surely allows to use almost the full potential of the cartridge (only marginal gain from there to 20 inch,) but with 10-inch barrel you only lose 300 fps - which is mere 10% of velocity and 20% of energy.
Thanks for one of the best ideas that I have heard of in a long time
Every right they take away i think of the young person who died for it😢 they wont stop until u have NO RIGHTS AT ALL! thank u for ur hard work🙏🇺🇲💪
I would add a good way to carry your spare mags and other gear on your body. You might not always have your plate carrier.
Good idea. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours.
Prisms are tough and lighter. Savior systems makes a great 6 magazine bandolier.
different strokes for different folks.. preferences with parameters of context , training, experience, and system capability required for AO

I kinda think a smaller backup handgun would be a nice addition as well. I like your video very much sir. Thank you for you effort.
I don’t disagree with the idea but if you need to go with a carbine shit has gone very south and look at all the dead space in that case even with everything in it. I would forgo the hard case for space and look at other options. Cheers

My wife would prefer a 16" but all she gets is 6".
Awww man! Good kit. So many different scenarios we can all dream up. One thing I’d want to add to your box though and I never really see anyone addressing it. But some minimalist type, easy on way to carry those mags. I’m not talking plate carriers and full kits. Any ideas? Because it’s something I’ve tried to come up with that’d pack light. I bought a Ronin by Condor, but it doesn’t really fit the bill for what I’m thinking.
Trex Arms has some stuff for that. Ready Rig and other light weight chest rigs that hold mags etc. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours.
Love the Trijicon! LPVO on my wife’s rifle, TenMile on my SCAR!
Can’t do AR-15 at all in my state. Right now I have my Benelli M4 shotgun, and my Walther PDP as a kit. Best I can do until the laws change.

I have an LWRCi 16.1” w/1-10LPVO and a 13.9” lightweight upper with a Holosun ACSS and 3x magnifier, Gen 3 G19 w/Holosun solar red-dot so I can run 19/17/22/33 mags. I am working on building out a battle belt. I have to practice with Glock since I’m low & left, but dead on POA/POI with any of my other pistols. I may buy a Shadow Systems so that I can use Glock mags but get more of a 1911 grip angle.

I love the kit if you have the income I would suggest ditching the light let’s give away your position, thermal optic, or set of nods
I honestly don't know much about thermals or nods and have never used them. I am very interested to learn about them and use them, but as you already alluded to, they are pricey - at least for good ones. Probably worth the investment given the future out look, but we will see. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours.
I think this is a great point that no one talks about. Typically, you tubers mention a "mounted light" of some sort as an essential item. While it may be a good thing to have, I would not want to torch up and give away my position either.
nah, always have a white light. Just pair it up with good light discipline

Solid recommendation for newbies.
i’m gonna go with a glock 45 instead of 19X because of being able to use universal G mags, 19X is only proprietary mags, and the benefits of the gen 5 in the 45 rather than gen 4 in the 19X. Love both but the 45 is a no brainer to me for those reasons

Instead of an lpvo i got a 3x30 prism optic and they pretty tough as nails optic and a bite more solid then alot of scopes and still have good zoom and picture amd great glass quailty and feild of view
I have a prism and realized that the one downside; imho, is when you use backup irons, if you need to co-witness, the glass distorts the front sight. Not sure if that affects accuracy or not but it "bothers" me to see that.

Item number 2 had me stop watching this, since I live in CT. I believe others living in MA, DE, NY, NJ, CA, WA, IL, etc did the same... About a third of the population of the USA.
I'd throw a light and a red dot on that pistol. I also like a red dot/magnifier combo on the rifle, but you could mount a red dot on the LPVO. Also a pretty good idea to have Fix-it Sticks (or equivalent) on board AND make sure you've got all the bits you need for YOUR platforms/equipment.
Good ideas. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
I thought I wanted an LPVO on my AR15 and bought a Primary Arms 1-6x LPVO. I mounted it on my AR, took it to the range one time, shot with it and summarily took it off when I got home. I decided for me and because I only have the one AR (at the time. I now have an 8" barreled 300BKO pistol too), that I'd rather go with a red dot/magnifier combo. I feel a "scope", LPVO or higher magnification belongs on rifles meant for longer distances that what the AR (in .223/5.56) is effectively capable of.
Good deal. Do what works for you. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
I totally agree! 556 I run acogs with a rmr or magnifier and red dot. On my 308 I run a LPVO
A truck safe is important. That nice Plano case is cash and carry for a thief.
The Plano box isn't to leave in the truck. It's to have your guns ready to go in one easy to transport box. You are in the truck / car with the case and when you get out of it, it goes with you. It's not your every day carry, but for times when you might need to travel with those guns to another location. HOWEVER, I am getting ready to install a lockable in truck storage solution. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours.
I use a bag and carry so much more.
Interesting video. If you are looking to optimize the round, 16 inch is not the choice. All other items are very reasonable.
18 and 20 are too long. 10.5 is too short. Optimal for all environments, if you can have only one, 16". Probably didn't come across well. Sorry about that. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
I have 20 inch barrel. Like the a1 I carried.
Good deal. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
Cleaning kit and spare parts.
I really like Surefire lights. You have opinions on those?
Yes, I LOVE Surefire lights, just can't always afford them. I have Surefire on my PDW for home defense. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours.
NICE... I CANNOT AFFORD...STREAMLIGHT I CAN AFFORD 😊😊😊😊😊
Depending on your Terrain, you're better off going with a 3X or 5x prism along with canted reflex sight. It will keep things lighter and more practical.
holosun aems vs 512 vs swampfox trihawk vs primary arms 3x micro Or are there any other good budget options? I have a hard time with my vision.
No one ever mentions spare parts or repair parts for their firearm(s).
What about hearing protection?
Where is a POM pepper spray? Something between a harsh word and a gun?
11.5 AR supremacy. With a 18in spr upper swap out as an option.
Everyman needs at least one rifle that can mount a real bayonet.
Unfortunately I reside in a socialist state (Massachusetts). Thus my kit is not my first choice. But I do have pack able 😉 stuff for the protection of myself and my family.
Sorry about your state. Thanks for the comment. God bless you and yours.
What? A glock 17 has a 17 rd. mag and a glock 19 has a 15 rd. mag.
Anthony, I just stumbled upon your channel and am glad I did. Great content! I agree with much of your philosophy, although I prefer a Shadow Systems MR-920 ( which, as a Firearms Instructor, I can get for the price of a Glock MOS). I would love to get a Toyota LC or 4Runner.
The military doesn't even wanna use 5.56 anymore why is everyone still riding this caliber so hard? 😂
Any other optic "scopes" that you would suggest that is not the same price as the rifle at $1500?
Gun cleaning kit
Love the rifle but the high vis grip and stock has to go....it seems as bad as come-kill-me-chrome barrels.
Wolf Grey isn't really "high vis", but the contrast to black might be. Something to think about though. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
You can’t just swap optics and be “good to go”
@@whitechapel4261 you can if those optics are already dialed in for that weapon. Quality optics, quality mounts with no deviation is all it takes. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours.
No IFAK ? Better chance of you using a IFAK then a pew pew & if you have a pew pew you absolutely need a IFAK
This video is just "gun kit" in one place. I have 2 IFAKs and a complete medical bag as well as various other med supplies in other bags / packs that travel with me each day. This video is just the guns in one box that can be ready to go. I don't take the gun kit with me each day, but medical and my carry gun go with me. Hope that helps clear it up and makes sense. Thanks for commenting. God bless you and yours!
