@@bass_freak You do you. Full carnivore works for most people, but you don't HAVE to be full carnivore. If you find you can tolerate some plants, that's fine. I can't tolerate plants at all right now. Maybe in five or so years I'll try reintroducing some, but for now full carnivore is working for me. and millions of other people. Paul Saladino is a young man with theories that he is willing to test on himself and others. That's fine. I'm 62 and feeling better on carnivore than I have felt in 30 years. In a hundred years or so maybe we will have it all figured out. Maybe not. For now, I'm still carnivore.

I am on a carnivore diet now as an experiment. I have to admit that sometimes I miss other foods because of a taste, but other than that I never felt better. So all my scepticism about eating only meat is gone now. No constipation or any other side-effects mentioned in this video. I've lost some weight, but it was fat. My muscles are not getting weaker (I do calisthenics though). I am on a carnivore diet for the last two month so it is too early to make a conclusion, but so far so good.

@@Doctor-Stoppage I tried by accident 8 months ago (couldn't find any convincing evidences of vegetables and fruit actually being good for you or needed since all the nutrients are found in meat).
I'm putting on muscle whilst just sitting in a chair all day and seeing a lot of progress with my long term fatigue after a respiratory illness.
Pretty much everything said in this video is wrong in hindsight. After some adjustments I get no constipation ever if I eat strict and consistently. No obvious nutrient deffeciencies, not muscle breakdown, no scurvy (though I have some fruit occasinally just because I'm not strict). I miss other foods sometimes but they don't taste as good as I remember, I kind of just kind of was hungry and wolfed stuff down and didn't get a taste to taste a lot of it, and everything tasted better because I was in a constant state of semi-starvation (including niche nutrients like carnitine and taurine which nobody talks about)
All in all I don't see a reason to stop and now Im quite alert and sensitive to all the things that used to irritate my body, like soluble fibre and sugar crashes.

When I was 18 I ate purely meat for a month and a half and it was the best thing I’d ever done. I was way overweight at the time and was sick and tired of being sick and tired so after peaking at 315 lbs I said I’ll lose weight or I’ll die adapting. I switched to a purely protein diet that day and started lifting weights. That first month was the toughest month of my life. I pushed myself and went from barely being able to do 1 push up to reaching 15 push ups, i gained a bunch of muscle (my arms were huge) and I also lost 40 lbs, muscles started to show through the fat and my whole physique started changing. I got horrible constipaded at first and then after 3 weeks or so would have bouts of diarrhea but it wasn’t horrible and the pros were far better than the cons. Initially I had a very difficult time thinking on the diet like my brain was constantly in a fog but after a few days I got this kind of extra control over the amount of effort I could put into things like thinking clearly (also carried over to lifting weights) so they balanced themselves out in the end. After the month and a half I broke it because I js had enough at the time so I went out for a slice of pizza and to my surprise I didn’t get any kind of joy from eating it like I used to. I tried to drink some root beer as that had been my go-to drink before hand but I couldn’t do it because it was too sweet. In total I lost 60 lbs all of which and more have stayed off since I stopped the diet after 45 days. I am now 225 lbs and much healthier than I had ever been. I go for runs often and still lift from time to time. Everyone who is overweight should try this diet.

I’m Italian so no Eskimo genetics, I never ate organ meat (I made my burgers rare) and while I’d love to try whale blubber I didn’t have the luxury of incorporating it into my diet. This diet should be prescribed to overweight people not used to scare the public!

Well done for having the strength and tenacity to sort yourself out. I didn't have weight issues when I got into carnivore diet. I had very painful IBS.
Like yourself initially I had to give my system the time to adapt. After a few weeks I was really enjoying the freedom and painless results. I must admit I didn't expect it. Because of the bad press I thought I would be ditching it because of high cholesterol, sky high blood pressure and possibly liver problems.
None if those issues materialized. Actually it was the opposite.
      I am a very happy 🐰 bunny.

the infamous Moral is a purely societal concept. The reason we have morals is to make sure our society thrives; after all, a society can't live properly if its citizens are worried that they'll be murdered in their sleep. Though if you would like to talk about morals, why don't regard the people and economies that rely on the meat industry for an income? Is it more moral to you to save animals that were bread to be food than to allow these families to lose their jobs and possibly only income?

All the information contained appears to contradict my personal experience. I am fully fledged carnivore and I have not had any of the issue presented in the video. I suffer or better I used used to suffer from IBS.
Meat only diet has been for me a game changer. No bloating, painful visit to the bathroom, diarrhea but worst of all I developed fear of eating.
I have been a vegetarian for several years, went through veganism but the improvement were marginal. Vegetables especially triggered uncomfortable and inconvenient symptoms. Painful gut, diarrhea, and very unsociable gassy evacuation. I did march on with those diets thinking that my system once settled would be happier on those diets.
On every front they were retained the best thing since sliced bread and healthiest so I persevered.
I can now relax because I can describe them as old issues.
I only eat fat and meat. I feel absolutely fine, no cravings and medically all my tests never revealed any anomalies I always get through with flying colours.
So through personal experience and quite a substantial anecdotal evidence I can't really agree with the facts presented in this video. Perhaps is just a case of agree to disagree. Best of luck.

theres also data from anthropology. the stable nitrogen and carbon isotopes found on our ancestors show what diet they had, and at what trophic level they were. we need to look at what they ate BEFORE the dawn of agriculture.
my ancestors were HYPERCARNIVORES and were APEX PREDATORS at the top of the food chain. 70% or more of the diet was meat of various kinds, the rest were other stuff: eggs, seasonal plants(mostly just coconuts). i try to eat the same way, and im healthier now than ever. this carnivore diet is working well for me.
based on the anthropology(nitrogen and carbon isotopes), you can also figure out your ancestral diet. that could also be the ideal diet for you, as its the diet your ancestors evolved with. its the diet that made them human. the same successful humans who succeeded to pass on their genes to you.

Obviously if you are a young healthy adult you feel great, it would be very worrisome the contrary, because only people with chronic or disease already have health problems at that age.
With a diet diet like that you are chronically deficient of fibers who are critical for digestive tract health, and a lack of them other the more immediate consequences like constipation, can greatly increase the chance of getting colon cancer later in life, while also only eating muscle meat as i think, he would lack a lot of vitamins and nutrients who are not present in steaks, like c and d vitamins, and lastly a too meat heavy diet can cause inflammations like gout.

Also, a heavy smoker doesn't feel great at all, more like with really low lung capacity, that's worst oxygenation of the brain and body, cough, sore throat, etc. If you don't overcook meat and don't add other foods on top of it, it seems to be perfectly healthy, and sadly a lot of studies about it didn't have as many considerations, the body is a complex machine and studying it should be done really carefully with a lot of attention to detail, this is understood more these days, the studies that gave birth to the narrative you're talking about come from early 2000 or even before, and a lot of studies have been shown to be fake, having an underlying agenda paid by industries

Berries only existed in Europe (humans originated in Africa) and we can't eat flowers, or stems or leaves.
Primates are all omnivorous and will eat meat, so our ancestors were eating milk (breast milk), meats and eggs (mammals ate dinosaur eggs).
Nuts are completely unnatural to eat and very difficult to find. Most animals don't even eat nuts, because they're so well-hidden. Also, most nuts are toxic.
If you eat raw meat (which our early ancestors would have done), it gets instantly digested. You don't feel any constipation. Milks are the most simplest way to get energy, since they get digested instantly, which is why babies drink that.
Eating lean meats (which is what most people in our society do) is not good. That is true. You need the saturated fats and cholesterol to go along with it.
Vitamin C is contained in animal organs, if we ate organs (like brains, hearts, kidneys) like our ancestors would have done, then there's no problem eating meat. This is why we get the Vitamin C from citrus and juices, since most diets of today don't include animal organs.
Losing weight is not a sign of health. People need to stop trying to lose weight or change their body type.
I agree, everything in moderation is good.

A recent research on current day nomadic Mongolians have also show that their protein-only diet with meat, fat, organs, blood and dairy works for them as well. Mongolian nomads in their 30s were tested for any health issues and surprisingly everything was well within normal range. The steppes provide pretty much no edible plant matter around for miles on, and there aren't any fish either. Research found out that its the livestock that graze on a variety of steppe plants - while inedible for humans - that are enriched with Omega 3 and other healthy nutrients.

a different study show that fiber cause constipation rather than solving it but it's less apparent since you have to evacuate more often. It's quite hard to find out if you're constipated or simply have no need to poop. Meat take more time to digest because the body absorb more energy from it so bowel movement happen less often. So it's normal if you only need to poop once per 2 days if you eat only meat. It take even longer when it's organs meat such liver and heart since those product are rich in nutriment

have frequent occurrence of CAD events. Despite that, government organizations even to this day are recommending people, specifically people with heart disease to eat several servings of fish per week, and it's all based on these 2 researchers that didn't even study the Inuit people. 20% of those death certificate reports were completed without a doctor having examined the body. The doctors also had limited diagnostic facilities and most of the population were very far away from hospitals. This study reviewed all the previous studies done on the Inuits and once again found that westernized countries are healthier. Similar CAD rates compared to western countries, double the mortality rate in strokes compared to western countries and their life expectancy's 10 years shorter compared to western countries.

These Inuits in the north had epistaxis, which is bleeding from the nose which is subsequently found to be due to polycythemia, suggestive of cyanosis which is caused by low oxygen levels in the red blood cells or problems getting oxygenated blood to your body. Hypertension and several other issues, specifically to do with blood were found in the northern parts. Tuberculosis was also common (disease caused by bacteria that attack the lungs, causing coughs, sneezings and so on) in the northern parts. Several cases of bronchitis and other illnesses too. Atherosclerosis and high blood pressure were common. Artery calcification was common. Seen through x-ray scans. Several cases of epilepsy, insanity, rheumatoid arthritis, hydrocephalus (fluid within a childs brain, causing pressure in the skull), exophthalmos (terrible eye disease, check some pictures). Worms were commonly found in the animals they eat, putting them at higher risk of infection. Many eye and teeth issues and poor resistance to infection were found among the more primitive Eskimos. Inuits are not healthy and disease free as claimed.
