@@shiransandeep3290 The application of physics is not clear cut when it comes to computational photography. Proof of this is the Pixel camera beating it's competition who are using larger sensors. @TheUnlockr I like your videos because: - You use phones as a slightly above or average user (with many pictures, videos, along with the rest of your daily usage) - You take beautiful photographs for comparison of similar phones - Your videos are like a tour guide to different places; such as, local coffee shops, locations of interest, restaurants, and hotels - You conclude your videos by showing that day or another day's usage and battery longevity (pointing out average day usage at the batteries' best) I find these videos very useful for I change and swap phones often. I'm watching this in a raining and wet UK, and watching you stroll n eat your way around your community whilst commenting/reviewing the pixel is just the best. Def the most inventive, compelling and interesting review I've seen. Thank you for it. I'd definitely watch a vlog.

The video was pretty nice in vlogging style & the shot comparisons were good as well. I think you’ll make good vlogs, so you should definitely give it a go. As far as the new pixel phones go, I’ve been disappointed since the Pixel 3Xl. I expected that the camera would be better on the Pixel 5 as well as battery life, but it was alright. Through all the shots you’ve shown, even being a 11 Pro user I liked most of the shots by the Note 20 Ultra or the FE, and some shots of the 11 Pro. In the night shots & night mode specifically Note 20 & the 11 Pro did well, Oneplus actually surprised me. This years amongst all the flagship phones, I expected a good come up from the 4 when it comes to Pixel phones.
I feel as though the battery is actually a huge step up from other Pixels. At least according to what I've been hearing. I would say a few more hours of use is more than "alright".
Just picked up the Pixel 5, four days ago, so far, I do really like this phone. Of course, two days later, at Google I/O, the Pixel 6 and all the phones of the new model are leaked, already behind. Great video of the big city. Thanks, Unlockr.
13:45 Hi, just a suggestion when you show the battery usage, click on options and select "Show full device usage" so we can see the cumulative screen on time. Kinda difficult to know how many hours your phone lasted throughout the day.
@@andyH_England I added it up and it came around 5 hours and 45 minutes. With the heavy camera use I think that's a very good battery life. Also adaptive battery needs some time to kick in so I think an average user can get a little more than 7 hours of SOT. Another great video dude. I actually picked up a Pixel 5 here in the UK and I'm loving it! It's nice to have a compact device again without loosing any functionality
I loved this video, the style, presentation and overall feel. It reminded me of my frequent visits to the US in the past (I’m a Brit btw), and long overdue I might add! A terrific format. Incidentally, the Pixel 5 comes across really well too! Fantastic job :-)
I watch all your videos on all the tech you show. I really like your video style, and the fact that you show people around different areas while showing the technology. I watch these from sunny London in the UK, and have visited and lived in New York many times. Behind London, New York is my favourite city in the world too come and visit. Love the videos keep up the great work 👍 If watch a VLOG
Great video as always, getting better each time. Love the way you show your day, the places, the food, the phone shots comparison (btw, I pause and keep on analyzing 'em all). Keep it up!!! Coffee time ☕!!
Great job on the video. I kind of feel like I spent the day with you, and had some decent conversations (albeit rather one sided). One suggestion, because though I could obviously pause the video and compare your photos, it would have been nice to hear a little feedback from you regarding some of the shots to maybe emphasize things you may be noticing that we aren't able to, such as real world color capture vs over saturation. I have my own opinions as to which cameras performed well under the conditions of each photo, but it would have been nice to hear your opinion as well, with some commentary to point out some subtle, or not so subtle differences. Also, a problem I have frequently is motion blur on still shots. Heaven forbid if a subject moves while you're capturing the moment and their arm or face is a blurred in what would have been a great pic. So how do you feel the pixel 5 performed? How did it stack up in comparison to the other phones? These are a couple of things missing I feel, in an otherwise outstanding video. Have a great day. By the way I currently have the Google Pixel 3XL and have ordered, and am waiting for the Pixel 5.
I have met a couple of mobile reviewers. Few of them were formal and just wanted to move on. Most were assholes lol. Not going to say names but they are popular reviewers (not mr mobile, he was formal, dont worry lol). My man David the unlockr. He is awesome and a pleasure to talk to lol. He isnt really super techy, critical etc. Just chill, and appreciates things for what it is. Doesnt exaggerate and just here to talk about how it feels to daily smartphones and move on with his day. And thats reality man. Most differences are super trivial and you should ultimately think about what matters to you. For David, he doesnt really ask for much lol
I lived in Manhattan for all of 2018. So I throughly enjoyed seeing all the old sights again.also I'm a phone fanatic sooo.i also very much so enjoyed your review/ day in the life....I am currently rocking the z fold 2 but have plans on buying the pixle 5.thanks for your awesome phone reviews. Hey man! Keep this up!! It also shows proper general use of a phone you're reviewing!
I do like the fact that you gave a vlog kind of vibe to this video. I find it interesting and even more since I'm not from the US. The editing is top notch as always, good job! However I would prefer a video like this to be more about the phone than a vlog. I found myself skipping through some of your cinematic shots because there was just too many "extra" things in between your commentaries about the Pixel 5. Again, it's not because I didn't like those shots or your vlogging, it was simply because I wanted to know more about it. You could do it like previous videos I watched, like showing the battery percentage at a specific time in between your activities or something else to remind us that the focus is the phone. Please take it as feedback though, I really enjoy these videos, keep it up!
I really like your tech reviews, man! And this one was very helpful in deciding whether or not the Pixel 5 should be one of the phones I consider when I replace my Note8...any time now.... About the vlog, I'd be interested to see what you'd do. I would say there's one thing you should look out for, though. Your style reminds me of Peter McKinnon. A lot. Everything from the shots you take to the music selection, and even your delivery. Of all the styles your videos could resemble, that's among the best. It takes a lot of skill, intelligence, and a keen eye to pull it off. For all I know, you've never watched his videos and it's just a coincidence. But I'd say that if you do the vlog thing, the danger of coming off derivative is real. As a writer, I f'ing HATE it when someone tells me my style is like _____, so I hope you react with more maturity than I sometimes do. :) I wouldn't bother saying this to someone who I thought did not have the potential to do something really cool and original. I think you can, and I'd like to see it.
Yes do a Volg. Enjoyed the tour. I visited NY before Covid-19 outbreak & will go again when this gets better under control. Good video. Battery seems good.

Got out of bed to watch this video properly. You're going to make me take another trip to NY (went last September) and I don't like going places twice. Such a beautiful city. Seeing New York for example from your point of view and some of your favourite places is fun, plus feels a bit like you're getting an insiders tour. Makes me want to visit these places myself! You could even still do more vloggy videos and show what tech you're using and how it's helping you work. Keep it up :)
Best camera test I've seen on any phone.
Great job.
I don't care for this youtube stuff. But I actually subscribed. Well done!
Another great video dude. I actually picked up a Pixel 5 here in the UK and I'm loving it! It's nice to have a compact device again without loosing any functionality
First time watcher. Like your format and cinematography! Subscribed.
The way you speak with multiple expressions make this video come alive. S20 FE stole my attention. Amazing video man.
Love learning new things about New York , great videos
I loved this video, the style, presentation and overall feel. It reminded me of my frequent visits to the US in the past (I’m a Brit btw), and long overdue I might add! A terrific format. Incidentally, the Pixel 5 comes across really well too! Fantastic job :-)
I watch all your videos on all the tech you show. I really like your video style, and the fact that you show people around different areas while showing the technology. I watch these from sunny London in the UK, and have visited and lived in New York many times. Behind London, New York is my favourite city in the world too come and visit. Love the videos keep up the great work 👍
If watch a VLOG
So much effort on this video. Awesome tech video. Something fresh!
Your new VLOG style review is uniquely you and it is a great experience for folks not based in the U.S
Really Great Vlog Video David, appreciate your hard work!
Thanks for the links to the locations! Would def watch a vlog!
Fantastic video, loved the different camera comparisons you presented. I liked seeing the various places in West Village. Thanks.
I always look forward them!!!
Gotta say man, I love your outros. Great vid
Nice video, liked the comparison and also the way you shot it - good one
Love the way the current videos are done
I thoroughly enjoy your different take on the traditional phone review and a blog would be cool ✌️
Love watching your videos and yes do vlogs but make it about travel and visiting underrated places. Love your old neighbourhood.
Loved the videography and story telling 🙂
Great video! Definitely helps me feel more confident in my Pixel 5 purchase! Can't wait to receive it!
Nice video! I think you did a great job smoothly mixing a phone review and vlog.
Hey man! Long time follower here, I used to follow you as marcanthonynoz on twitter.. just want to say I love this style of video where you go eat and such and share where you are and what's special about that place to you. Keep this up!!
It also shows proper general use of a phone you're reviewing!
I like the way you speak and make everything so clear, I love this video and the pixel too ...
Thanks ..
Love this kind of reviews, definitely watching if you're going to start vlogging
City tour + Variety of Food + Camera test all these together make the best review video.
Thank you as always you take us the the us from our home greetings from Morocco 🇲🇦
Awesome work man🔥 Love your channel
Yes do a Volg. Enjoyed the tour. I visited NY before Covid-19 outbreak & will go again when this gets better under control. Good video. Battery seems good.
Vlogs are always Great!
And by the way, GREAT JOB totally enjoyed watching this video 👍✌️
Great video! Love your vlog style and sense of humour. Keep up the excellent work.
I actually didn't care about the pixel during the video at all because the vlog was so good, I really felt a very unique vibe! Something about you talking about the places makes it very special!
I really like New York and I know I'll never see it,nice to see it on your vlog at least
Greetings from Serbia nice job!!
One of the best reviews ive seen!! Amazing
A lot of history in this one, great video man.
amazing comparisons and i like ur way of real world battery test..
your videos are always unique, love watching them. love from India
That battery is really really amazing...The video just makes sense, I really enjoyed watching this video.
This video low-key makes me want to get myself a pixel😇
Amazing cinematography and just a generally all round classy video.
Got out of bed to watch this video properly. You're going to make me take another trip to NY (went last September) and I don't like going places twice.
Such a beautiful city.
You should attempt an all out vlog. You go further than just doing things in your vlog as you normally give some history behind the places you go. Gives it that Unlockr touch.
This is how every phone review should be 🔥🔥🔥
