Hiya, I have the Pixel 6 Pro, thanks for the video and your efforts. I haven’t really fully tested the camera yet but I can say it’s way better than my 12 Pro Max was based on pics so far! Battery life not that great though considering the size of the battery. I’m loving the look and feel of it, and one thing I have noticed, is the antenna must be way better than the iPhone 12 Pro Max, as it’s working where that didn’t along coastal areas in the uk where I had no signal on the iPhone. I had the 4xl before the iPhone and even that took better photos than the 12 pro max! Cheers! 👌🏻👍🏻🇬🇧😊

The differences between the devices are noticeable, especially the materials, the cameras (the front camera is also different), i saw a list of all the differences, it was impressive. I went for the pro, got it yesterday and love it!

The display is Great, and the Stereo sound so much better than what oneplus or sony deliver. Really a great phone.
I could use some help with a good case that's what stopping me from getting the pro. I'm a klutz and it's hard to find a case that wraps around the screen all around

I really love these real world tests. Some travel, some sight seeing, some history, and phone tests - all baked into one nice video. I'm still going to buy the P6 Pro regardless, but was always unsure how much advanced the video capability was and based off other reviewers and their opinions, it may not be up there with the iPhone 13 Pro / Pro Max, however it is still a very capable phone, and after your testing, especially at night, I'm still very impressed and looking forward to getting one now. That audio in video recording is possible the best I have ever heard. I hope they tone down the oversharpening and over processing of the camera, I feel they don't need that much anymore. Awesome video as always. Can't wait for my pixel 6 pro 😍
Yours is one of my favorite reviews of this phone - I love how you do camera comparisons that I can pause the video on and take a look. Overall I kinda see what Mr. Mobile was talking about with Pixel photos shooting "Hot" - and a few times I preferred the regular photos over the night sight photos. More than anything, that iPhone 13 camera has really really stepped up its game eh?
It's very solid. Have to agree. The good thing is it's just presets than can be modified. Nothing really hardware limiting. It's got the exact blend of preferences people want. Ironically, as I keep posting in comments... it's exactly what the Pixel and Samsung used to go for, and iphone people always said they didn't want. High contrast and sharpness. Now Pixel is trying to go more natural and everybody is dogging on it calling it a failure. Incredible irony lmao! But the upside is that's all easily tweakable. The soft nightmore issue is too but that would just require a shorter exposure duration option. I'm kind of surprised it isn't there already. My current phone, an Asus ROG3, a gaming phone has two night mode duration options but the Pixel doesn't. I find that pretty funny. Then again an Asus of the same year and sensor setup won MKBHD's blind camera test last year, so maybe they're on to something.

That castle place looks amazing. Pixel 6 this year is awesome, I'm just hoping Google would expand the availability throughout more regions. Btw I think Pixel 6 side frame is actually aluminium, otherwise they don't need to put the antenna line like the 6 Pro ...

Finally pixel are back in the game with their Pixel 6 pro. Finally 4k 60fps from selfie camera. Great review as always. Huge like and support from the UK 🙂🤠
6,4" with full HD resolution is enough for me. Also I prefer flat screens due to ease of putting screen protectors and not making typos. Plus as I saw, the battery life is comparable with 6 Pro and 90Hz screen refresh rate feels enough smooth for me. So, in my case I find this $300 difference in zoom camera but I could live without it and spend it on a smartwatch or something. Cheers
It's only comparable because the 6 pro has a 10-120 Hz display but it's only working at 60-120 right now, which explains the battery life. It's a software issue and it'll be fixed on the pixel 6 pro
@@klodinkediloni762 it won't get fixed if it's anything like oppo find x3 pro cause mine is still only 60 to 120 and I'm pretty certain they claim to have rolled out the update already but battery life is great on my x3 pro for the screen specs anyway I get like 7 hours screen on time

Kinda bought the 6 pro out of stubbornness since I want it to last 3-4 years, but honestly ended up LOVING the tele lens especially for portraits, so to me it's worth it!

It's always a treat watching your reviews plus field trip around the US without leaving the house. The Pixel 6 Pro really crushed the iPhone when it comes to pictures but still cannot compete with video. Also the ultrawide is not that great but ok. More power to you David!
I really enjoyed this video. I love that you get a little history lesson on some of these. Looking forward to visiting this place one day and have it added to our "places we want to travel to" list. Spring or Summer though. Us Atlanta boys don't do so well in the cold.

However after seeing your review I am now giving some thought to switching to the Pixel 6 Pro instead of the S22 Ultra. I also love your review because of your location. I live in Rockland County but I went to school over in Westchester County. In particular Briarcliff Manor which is right next to Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow so that that entire area is very dear to my heart. Keep up the awesome work !!!

I went ahead and got the Pixel 6 pro and although it was a bit more than the Pixel 6 I feel that (this is just a gut feeling) Google will be making updates to the phone with time and make it even better than what it is coming out of the box. Superb/informative review. Ive had my pixel 6 pro here in the UK for a few weeks now. I think it's great but not a huge leap from my brilliant Huawei P30 PRO which I find still matches the very best in photography.

Been life long iphone user and just got the pixel 6. ITS AMAZING. Love it in every aspect and way. Had all the iphone till iphone 13. Now fully pixel lover. All my family use iphone and I just love the change. Love the material look and love the fact it's not PERFECT. We live in a world where we want things to be spot on and always working and always doing what we ask. That seeking has made us weak. It's made us complaisant and weak minded. Pixel 6 is not perfect but I don't want it to be. I love the pixel character and more so it's just fun and simple. It's amazing price and love the screen and most of all love google 12.
@@RK1FX I got the 6 but to be fair battery is amazing. Camera is good just app crashes at times. Video is again really good but app can random crash. Software update issue maybe. UA-camr name of Chris Prillo said it. Pixel is not perfect and might never be for few more years but it’s a pixel. Maybe high end Samsung phones will give you more consistent experience but pixel is pixel. People buy them because they love them to certain point.

I was sad that the back finger print sensor is gone because of the pull down gesture, too, but you can actually set up a tap the back of the phone gesture to pull down the notification the on the Pixel 6!
And by that you get to touch on a lot of normal stuff, instead of those geeky benchmark tests and useless other speed stuff. Lovely video . Lovely and informative
I'm really glad I waited for reviews before making a decision to buy. That battery life is horrible. I'll be sticking with my Pixel 5 and it's mediocre battery life. Damn it Rhino Shield!!! Bring back bumper cases for the Pixel phones!!!
I have a major request! I'm wondering if for future phone reviews (granted I haven't finished the video yet so idk if you've already started doing this. I was just too excited to wait) you could include some test shots you took through the Snapchat app, Instagram, etc any photo based apps that don't use the native camera app. My biggest thing that I feel is missing from reviews is a social media camera test portion. For someone like me (and I'm sure others) who use social media for business, it is really important to know how the videos and pictures will look when posting on stories and things like that. There are some random videos showing things like that, but tbh I'd love to see it from you because your production quality and overall entertainment remains unmatched! I had a Pixel 3a in the past, and I had to give it up bc the camera quality was so bad on social media platforms. I'm wondering if that's changed with the Pixel 6. I've since switched to Samsung and because Samsung is such a huge brand, their social media optimization seems to be much better than Google's. I'd appreciate this a bunch! Thanks 😊

Do you know why I love the Unlockr & somewhat Mr Mobile review. There not stuck behind a desk doing a tech review of a phone. There out in the field, reviewing the Cell, putting the Pixel Pro 6 through its paces,testing the battery and comparing the camera, there getting sh🎃t done. It's like a cell phone tech review and a travel show all into 1. BTW you sold me, was waiting for the S22 Ultra but thinking about trading my Note10 for the Pixel 6. The camera looks awesome and going to save a few hundred bucks.

A refreshing review that combines a great mix of a review and places of interest. I got the Pixel 6 Pro in stormy black and on the whole its been great. I picked up two issues though which I hope are resolved with updates - it struggles with LED lighting at night (odd flickering with black banding) and the speed of the finger print sensor.
I bought the Pixel 6 (normal), and been using it for over one week. I also ordered the Pixel 6 Pro, but won't arrive until December 15. I am very interested and looking forward to the Telephoto feature if the Pro. In your experience, is that something that you believe it's a game changer between these two pixels? I normally take photos in stadiums and in ski resorts during winter. I believe it might be a good Nice to have feature for far away pictures. Your video was the first I find with real situations use and comparison... So it already gave me a good idea, but as I intend to use it for taking pictures of soccer players un stadiums and my daughter when skiing, i will try to see if the Pro is the right choice for me. So far the Pixel 6 has not taken any full 40 or 50 MP resolution images. So I can't really tell comparing it to my current Pixel 2 ( I know it's old) hehe. Do you know how to actually fix a specific resolution quality/size for photo/mages? Thanks for taking the time to write back. Cheers!
Thanks from the UK 🇬🇧🙂 I changed from 12 Pro Max to Pixel 6 Pro, no regrets, I'm loving my 6 Pro, everything from amazing camera, better signal strength, works where my iPhone wouldn't, well pleased. Only thing I'd say is this, glass screen protectors stop the fingerprint scanner working most of the time, even after re scanning fingerprint. I put a slide on, re set fingerprints and no such problem anymore, far better than tempered glass in my opinion. I also have the Garmin Venu 2S watch which works great with the 6 Pro, (Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 didn't, sent it back)! Cheers... 👍🏻

I have been a Google pixel fan for years but last year I got the S20 Ultra which I absolutely love. However after seeing your review I am now giving some thought to switching to the Pixel 6 Pro instead of the S22 Ultra.
I also love your review because of your location. I live in Rockland County but I went to school over in Westchester County. In particular Briarcliff Manor which is right next to Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow so that that entire area is very dear to my heart.

Had to have my coffee before commenting...check! Love the review, you did a nice review on the camera by showing pictures not only during the day but also at night. I went ahead and got the Pixel 6 pro and although it was a bit more than the Pixel 6 I feel that (this is just a gut feeling) Google will be making updates to the phone with time and make it even better than what it is coming out of the box. I can't wait to get it and I am excited!! Awesome review keep them coming!!

One of the best real world Pixel 6 reviews and it kept your interest / atention span mucnh higher because you had a secound light harted interesting subject as part of the review. Ordered my Pixel 6 pro, expecting it mid december.
Superb/informative review. Ive had my pixel 6 pro here in the UK for a few weeks now. I think it's great but not a huge leap from my brilliant Huawei P30 PRO which I find still matches the very best in photography.
I'm looking to upgrade from a p30 Pro but unsure whether to go with pixel 6 or 6 pro
@@martinwalsh370 go with the Pro. It has the zoom lens Albeit not quite as good as the P30 PRO one.

Been life long iphone user and just got the pixel 6. ITS AMAZING.
Love it in every aspect and way. Had all the iphone till iphone 13. Now fully pixel lover. All my family use iphone and I just love the change. Love the material look and love the fact it's not PERFECT. We live in a world where we want things to be spot on and always working and always doing what we ask. That seeking has made us weak. It's made us complaisant and weak minded. Pixel 6 is not perfect but I don't want it to be. I love the pixel character and more so it's just fun and simple. It's amazing price and love the screen and most of all love google 12.
You've got the 6 or 6 pro? How's the battery, camera photo and video?
@@RK1FX I got the 6 but to be fair battery is amazing. Camera is good just app crashes at times. Video is again really good but app can random crash. Software update issue maybe. UA-camr name of Chris Prillo said it. Pixel is not perfect and might never be for few more years but it’s a pixel. Maybe high end Samsung phones will give you more consistent experience but pixel is pixel. People buy them because they love them to certain point.

I was sad that the back finger print sensor is gone because of the pull down gesture, too, but you can actually set up a tap the back of the phone gesture to pull down the notification the on the Pixel 6!
And by that you get to touch on a lot of normal stuff, instead of those geeky benchmark tests and useless other speed stuff. Lovely video . Lovely and informative

I have a major request! I'm wondering if for future phone reviews (granted I haven't finished the video yet so idk if you've already started doing this. I was just too excited to wait) you could include some test shots you took through the Snapchat app, Instagram, etc any photo based apps that don't use the native camera app. My biggest thing that I feel is missing from reviews is a social media camera test portion. For someone like me (and I'm sure others) who use social media for business, it is really important to know how the videos and pictures will look when posting on stories and things like that. There are some random videos showing things like that, but tbh I'd love to see it from you because your production quality and overall entertainment remains unmatched! I had a Pixel 3a in the past, and I had to give it up bc the camera quality was so bad on social media platforms. I'm wondering if that's changed with the Pixel 6. I've since switched to Samsung and because Samsung is such a huge brand, their social media optimization seems to be much better than Google's. I'd appreciate this a bunch! Thanks 😊

Do you know why I love the Unlockr & somewhat Mr Mobile review. There not stuck behind a desk doing a tech review of a phone. There out in the field, reviewing the Cell, putting the Pixel Pro 6 through its paces,testing the battery and comparing the camera, there getting sh🎃t done. It's like a cell phone tech review and a travel show all into 1. BTW you sold me, was waiting for the S22 Ultra but thinking about trading my Note10 for the Pixel 6. The camera looks awesome and going to save a few hundred bucks.

A refreshing review that combines a great mix of a review and places of interest. I got the Pixel 6 Pro in stormy black and on the whole its been great. I picked up two issues though which I hope are resolved with updates - it struggles with LED lighting at night (odd flickering with black banding) and the speed of the finger print sensor.

I bought the Pixel 6 (normal), and been using it for over one week. I also ordered the Pixel 6 Pro, but won't arrive until December 15. I am very interested and looking forward to the Telephoto feature if the Pro.
In your experience, is that something that you believe it's a game changer between these two pixels?
I normally take photos in stadiums and in ski resorts during winter. I believe it might be a good Nice to have feature for far away pictures.
Your video was the first I find with real situations use and comparison... So it already gave me a good idea, but as I intend to use it for taking pictures of soccer players un stadiums and my daughter when skiing, i will try to see if the Pro is the right choice for me.
So far the Pixel 6 has not taken any full 40 or 50 MP resolution images. So I can't really tell comparing it to my current Pixel 2 ( I know it's old) hehe.
Do you know how to actually fix a specific resolution quality/size for photo/mages?

I changed from 12 Pro Max to Pixel 6 Pro, no regrets, I'm loving my 6 Pro, everything from amazing camera, better signal strength, works where my iPhone wouldn't, well pleased. Only thing I'd say is this, glass screen protectors stop the fingerprint scanner working most of the time, even after re scanning fingerprint. I put a slide on, re set fingerprints and no such problem anymore, far better than tempered glass in my opinion. I also have the Garmin Venu 2S watch which works great with the 6 Pro, (Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 didn't, sent it back)! Cheers... 👍🏻
