Your tour-type of reviews are genuinely my favorite to watch. As much as we are tech nerds, personally it gets boring to only see the product for the whole video. Love what you do!
As always, it's difficult to determine which aspect of these videos I like the most-the phone review or the tour. Regardless, enjoyable as well as informative, every time
What a cool format for a review, I learned about a weird part of New York I didnt even know existed. 7 hours screen on time with almost an hour of camera in that heat is pretty impressive. Picking mine up in 36 hours, cant wait.
I love that you combined your test vlogs with historical bits and at the same time showing local stores and places. I wish Google phones and stores will be available all over Asia too.
Loved the Nellie Bly mention. That story always fascinated me; thanks for making the trip to Roosevelt Island and showing the area. Also, I was really curious about the Pixel 6A so thanks for that too. This channel continues to impress and is an obvious instant sub for anyone on the fence. Trust me.
A tour of New York and a tour of a new phone. What an experience! I can tell this video took a lot of work and research. Even managed to squeeze in some comparison shots. Amazing work man. Hope you get more and more subscribers, this type of content truly deserves that.
I never really comment on UA-cam videos but I must confess you got me attached from beginning to end. It was so informative, not only learning about the phone but also a bit of history. Even though I'm not interested in another phone brand at all, I would still watch your videos just to learn a bit more! Thank you for such a hard work and real life phone reviews and tours! Greetings from Panamá 🇵🇦
I loved the format. So much more engaging and interesting than a phone review inside, talking about specs, comparing photos that is fairly pointless, etc. Good work.
Buddy; couple things. I'm two weeks into a new Pixel 6 from the my iPhn 12. Couldn't be happier. Screaming fast and snappy and polished. Still own a Pixel 4a and it remains insanely smooth and stable. Baffling. As well, as a cmmrcl pilot I can't help but howl at the mayhem that aircraft noise causes. By far the most comical post you've made. I howled. Txs sir.
Google is giving 300 dollar credit for older pixel models, I'm trading my 4a and getting free pixel wireless headphones too with the promotion they got going on right now. So overall after trade in I'll only be spending about 187 for a new 6a and headphones. Should look into that so you can update phones for cheap
This format is just something special! The history on the island is fascinating (especially Nellie Bly) and the bloopers/impressions are hilariously spot on! ☺️
Love the format, it's different from the usual tech spec videos. And I think it's relevant information also, most people loves to travel, take pictures and share on social media
Another great one! Yours is the first video I have seen with a side by side by side of all Pixel 6's. It really brings home how much smaller it is compared to the others. I especially enjoyed the extended outtakes at the end of this video. Keep the videos coming!
I recently found you and subscribed. You are now my absolute top FAVORITE tech UA-camr. And I have watched a lot of them, including the big names. It's the first time I have not only subscribed, but also hit the bell for notifications. The first time I've actually wanted to know right away when a tech UA-camr has uploaded a new video. You are like a breath of fresh air. You know what's important to the average consumer and you aren't just pushing a specific brand of phone. You are amazingly unbiased in your reviews and I so much appreciate that. I also love how you combine the testing with sight-seeing. I find the places you visit absolutely fascinating. You make tech reviews fun. Thank you so much for that! Keep it up :)
Love the format for real world testing of device, more entertaining and representative of what a user would experience. Plus we get to see and learn about a new location every time, please keep doing it
The first time I've ever watched one of your review videos but I must say I truly enjoyed the format, it really does feel like a real world comparison video. Well presented, well documented, and excellently articulated. It flowed between the history lesson and what you were doing fluidly. I've lived in New York for close to 20 years and even I learned something, I can tell this truly was a lot of work but excellent results.
As usual, I love your real-world tests. I enjoy the history of the areas you are visiting, and the new, ending outtakes are enjoyable. My one complaint (per usual) is to leave on screen the comparison photos for a few seconds longer. This would be MUCH appreciated, especially for viewers who are debating between different devices for possible purchase. Thanks!
Hi bros from Italy Milan....every video you make with every phone low/media/top its fantastic...more or even of a discovery ch documentary......bravissimo
Wow a lot of bloopers but well done love your videos always. I myself will be getting a pixel 6a for my mom as she needs to upgrade and this is the perfect device for her and your video confirmed it so thanks 👍.
I really like the style of your reviews. The little stories you tell around the real world test are super interesting. Also the many shots of New York and other places are cool.
Great review as always and entertaining. But one thing for sure... Google has to put a lot more into their front facing camera. It's always behind or in the middle of the pack.
Damn you're too good, the most original real world test format video I've seen. Love the storytelling, the photos and the battery test. I always learn something new.
@Alex From Boston i just dropped my 4a and it cracked 😭 rip the $300 trade in value but hopefully they'll still give me something. The crack is barely noticeable unless you hold it at an angle.
I ordered a Pixel 6a today after my Nokia 6.1 effectively bit the dust (battery) after four years or so. I came to this video in order to see night photography done by the 6a but ended up enjoying the historical commentary and views of the scenery and buildings for their own value. Thoroughly interesting material, thanks!
I love, love your channels. This one and the Decoder. Both very concise, informative and with a nice dose of history about NYC and it's surrounding areas. I decided on the P6A for my Dad after watching your review, it should be a great, long-term device for him. I look forward to more videos in this format, it's an amazing asset that differentiates you from the rest.
@@TheUnlockr Thank you ! Do you think the pixel 6a would have some offers running during the US holidays ? I am not aware of the US sale pattern as I don't stay there but can have a friend get it for me. Every penny counts right now so would really appreciate your answer!
I really like that u mix history with your phone reviews+ bloopers 😆. Especially those bloopers 😆😆❤️ The great camera is what differentiate pixel "a" series from other budget phones. 👍👍👍
Fantastic review result - in there somewhere 🙂 Impressed by the feeling the phone is being (professionally!) squeezed into our learning experience - keep that format! Sorry to hear you almost boiled while creating it 🥵 How about chilling over the "sounds off" and just leave some of them in? We love you, so won't be as worried as you are! Already have a 6Pro so won't be moving to 6a, but know a friend will be very interested. As always, more please! 😊
I have been waiting for this!! Your reviews/blogs are the best - hell I watch them even when I don't care about the device lol - keep up the awesome work!!
I really enjoy these real life reviews, please keep them going for every phone. Definitely keeps me entertained throughout the whole video, not only that but I actually learned a little piece of history I love it 👍 keep it up
I see little reason these days to have camera comparisons, lol I mean... whatever you go for these days will be great! Not like a few years ago where there were huge differences, now I can barely tell the diff without pixel peeping.
Probably the most interesting format I’ve ever seen in doing Tech review, so congratulations! Every time I receive a notification that you released a video I’m happy to see it. One remark though, there is too less time - like a blink of the eye- to see the photos comparison between devices. It is so fast that I have no time to press pause. You also can tune a better sound of your reviews - better volume so to speak - so I do not need to set the volume of my tv to high. Thanks, and keep going this way!
You are reading the chart wrong (& also didn't listen to him explaining this): This is 7h SOT with 53 minutes of camera usage INCLUDING the evening of the day before where we used it also a lot. He then charged it to 100% over night and used it for a day. So it was probably around 5h of SOT on a full charge... This is not very good. My One Plus 6 did REAL 7h frequently at the beginning when it was new - and that's just a 3300 battery. Phones these days have processors that eat just too much battery.
@@manuelhess5111 yup, read it wrong. Coming off my pixel 4 though, I'd be so stoked just to get 5hr sot. It's not terrible for the first couple of days, adaptive battery kicks in a few weeks.
This video for some reason has been one of the best so far, love the explorations of RI, I have never been there and next time I am in NYC, will be on top of my list, it seems that Pixel 6A is fantastic, wish they hadn't taken out the earphone jack, while corporations pretend to be green, they are making wireless buds to sell at a big profit (that you must plug in to use) using extra energy, so much for being environmentally friendly.
Excellent video! I really liked the vlog style & learned a lot about a part of NYC I've never even heard of before such a unique take on a tech review and a history lesson.
This is exactly my kinda video! Damn! what a video! 😍😍 Wish you could do the exactly same type of real world tests with NY's dark history involved in them! Best video so far!
Thanks once again for showing the beauty and dark history of New York, one the most beautiful cities in the world. As always, your Real world test is very insightful and interesting. Thanks David. keep up the good work.
If there is a new phone and i need to hear see the review i come here to see this guy talk about it. I like the way he present the review. Not just about the phone but the surroundings, history etc. Nice review bro.
Love your videos and the history of New York that you share. Also, thank you for mentioning call screening, which is, by far, my favorite feature on the Pixel line.
Your channel is amazing very different to others i really like the mix of phone review and city tours. This in particular was amazing. Pixel 6s seems like an amazing device for that price
I just love your videos sir, ...the format, the details, the clips, the side-by-side comparison, the information ,everything is sooo ON POINT. keep up with the great work. An ofcourse 'first things first, i need coffee' is like the signature sentence now , just completes the video 😊🤟🏾 BIG FAN .
Your tour-type of reviews are genuinely my favorite to watch. As much as we are tech nerds, personally it gets boring to only see the product for the whole video. Love what you do!
Agreed, it is actually very friendly for those who not live in New York.
As always, it's difficult to determine which aspect of these videos I like the most-the phone review or the tour. Regardless, enjoyable as well as informative, every time
Thank you!!!
Why no both? ☺️
How is the heating issue ??? It’s the main concern for me
Same reaction here. Very much liked the tour aspect!
I’m so happy you kept this series going! Such a different and fun style to a review!
Thank you for continuing to watch it!
What a cool format for a review, I learned about a weird part of New York I didnt even know existed. 7 hours screen on time with almost an hour of camera in that heat is pretty impressive. Picking mine up in 36 hours, cant wait.
How it going?
I love that you combined your test vlogs with historical bits and at the same time showing local stores and places. I wish Google phones and stores will be available all over Asia too.
I discovered your channel from your 5A review so this one feels special to me. I love your format so much

This is my favorite review format! Thanks for keeping me company while I work on illustrations!
Thank you!
Love these travel/tech videos. Great testing my dude!
Thank you sir. Means a lot coming from you 👊
This video series is refreshing on UA-cam and NY is the perfect place for that type of content. Great video as always!

Part of the reason I watch your videos is for the history lessons about the areas you are in.
🙂
Thank you for watching it for something other than just the device 🙏
I loved the format. So much more engaging and interesting than a phone review inside, talking about specs, comparing photos that is fairly pointless, etc. Good work.
This convinced me to buy the pixel 6a 2 years ago and don't regret it. Great phone and very nice video!
Came here for 6A review.
Thanks for the NYC Island tour! 🙌🏻
Thank you!

One of the best camera comparison about 6a i never seen! Great job. Thank you 👍
Thank you. You are the first review that acknowledges the better, in hand size.
Nice having coffee with you this morning. This format is awesome and very relaxing. Well done sir WELL DONE!
Finally a small pixel throwback 👍🏼
Your best one yet! I love seeing how phones work in the real world and I really love your traveling around the Big Apple and across the country!!
Enjoyed the historical background of parts of New York and the Pixel 6a review. Thank you for the hard work that you did . Watching from the UK.
Hi bros from Italy Milan....every video you make with every phone low/media/top its fantastic...more or even of a discovery ch documentary......bravissimo
Still the best review format on UA-cam…Love ya work man.
Pixel 6a and the history of Roosevelt Island. Perfect!

Im using Pixel 6a and loving it! ♒
Enjoyed the tour on the island alongside the tech breakdown for the Pixel. This format of reviews is A+ Class.
I love the format of mixing the two travel and phone review
I bought the 6A weeks ago. I just came here for the awesome history lesson!
Great review as always and entertaining. But one thing for sure... Google has to put a lot more into their front facing camera. It's always behind or in the middle of the pack.
Phone review + tour....my man you are very underrated💙
Been waiting for this one. I feel like these really capture trying to put the phone in an actual day to day use case.
Love these videos, the history, the trips, and your friends. It's all fantastic, thank you.
Damn you're too good, the most original real world test format video I've seen. Love the storytelling, the photos and the battery test. I always learn something new.
