I don’t know how you can look at this phone and want it over a Samsung or an iPhone, you want no scratches? Just get a case... it will literally offer the same protection. It’s so damn ugly, looks like a children’s toy or like they dipped it in bedliner.
Don't Read my Profile Picture :)
@@knightfall7534 The software is just too damn good, iPhone or Samsung has nothing close to it, besides, it has a physical fingerprint reader, witch is way faster and better than those underscreen
I saw what you did there so that we don't skip the ad part haha.
I think the websites were trying to say that the metal in it is 100% recycled, not that the whole phone is covered in aluminium. Tricky wording though.
Zack have bachelor degree in business so wonder why he didn't notice that 🤔
It's also written "A water-resistant metal body", so that's straight up a scam
"it is a clear *flammable* liquid"
*Puts a phone in danger of fire in it*
Lol that's what I was thinking
no oxygen while submerged
@@GabeDevine Yes once it's in, but when putting it in there could be an ember or spark or something
@@GabeDevine lithium doesn't necessarily need oxygen to burn
@@nikhilt497 acetone on the other hand thou needs it
I love how this durability test turned into a teardown literally out of nowhere 😂
we truly appreciate your videos
When this channel reaches 10 million subscribers and Zack receives the diamond play button, we can expect a scratch test
Loll
Did we get that for the gold one or not
Scratches at level 34 with deeper grooves at level 39
YESSS!!
I actually wanna see this tbh. He can always get a replacement play button anyways
This is the most intense murder scene I have ever scene on UA-cam.
😂😂😂😂😂💯💯💯😂😂😂
I feel like "100% recycled aluminum body coated in eco friendly Bio-resin" would have worked well...
Yeah, bio-resin sounds cool. Why would google just completely lie or omit information about the outside?
@@spacecadet2663 Google is weird when it comes to phones and such. 🤷🏻♂️ I'm happy to stick with my OnePlus. Lol
Somehow I missed this physical test of the Pixel 5. I just purchased one, having made with a fairly correct guess of its materials and outer construction, from holding and weighing one in my hand. I am pleased both with my purchase and lucky guess. I added a gorilla glass screen protector and a Google case, to bring the Pixel 5 up to my requirements for grippable surface, thickness, and some surface protection to the disply, camera cover and fingerprint scnner. I'm lovin' it.
they say that 100% of metal in phone frame is recycled, not that frame is made out of 100% metal
That's a good comment. You are correct.
Still feels cheaper than all those metal phones from almost 5 years ago
They did say: "a water-resistant METAL body"
Take that how you will, it still is a bit weird.
Correct, but they have no mention of any plastic material, only the aluminum is listed.
@@faith_spooky6270 yes u are right, this is unfair but in this sentence it does not say that body is fully made of metal. No that im trying to defend them, im just poiting that out. And if we go even further we can say that the metal body cant be damaged by wather so its resistant. It does not say if it can defned phone from wather.
"google pixel has metal the way my body is made of bone" damn!😂😂
Google store says "100% recycled aluminum enclosure *12"" and 12 says 'Back housing only' so they technically are correct.
Sneaky
Well most glass sandwich phones do have a metal mid plate. According to Google they are metal phones as well.
Is pixel 5 made of metal?
JRE : Yes, but no.
Joe Rogan Experience
Yes except around the wireless charging coil
I'm kind of bummed that there wasn't an art class with Jerry before the phone was destroyed :(

Did you really put a PUNCTURED LITHIUM ION BATTERY IN ACETONE?! It's a miracle you still have your eyebrows.
LOL, Zack reprises the Samsung Note 7 ;)
Your voice is just so relaxing but you scratching against the phone just gives me tingles. It is like asmr.
