About Gunfire Reborn DLC Artisan and Magician:
Artisan and Magician are coming on stage!
Two new heroes will join your adventure. You can choose to either strategically command the power of the star cardor summon a mecha to fight alongside you. At the same time, they also bring four new weapons, including a submachine gun, a compass, an squid, and... a brick that conceals subtle golden sheen.
Zi Xiao: He can use the quality of occult scrolls to divine the astrological aspects. The color of the astrological aspects would affect the power of the cards. When all colors in the astrological aspects are the same, it can enhance the attack of the stars against enemies.

The owl literally is the best example of explaining things in an unnecessarily complicated way for how simple it actually is.
Zi Xiao has a lot of words, but once you play him for a bit you start to understand him, then his ascensions come into play and I'm lost again because a LOT goes on in his ascensions
honestly not really. your best build is going for full q (cards) build, e is pretty worthless unless they buff it. perfect deck is the one you ALWAYS want to pick, alongside anything that gives you more cards. if you spam that you're pretty much good to go on any difficulty

@@dontdoitpls4237 I know, 2 months later, but from my experience Falling Star is quite broken if you dedicate into it. Beat Reincarnation 9 almost effortlessly by spamming Legendary Astrohouses/Falling Stars that homed in on all my enemies and I could just spam them without even hitting the Q key.
Its crazy the difference in complexity between the others
Had Xiao with Cloud Weaver. Just spamming Q and drifting the cursor across the screen deleted entire stages in seconds. Love it.
Great game as a whole. I too didn’t like the owl at first, but their talent tree makes the biggest difference for their gameplay.
Owl is very strong. I used a secondary skill build to finish reincarnation 8 and spiritual assault. I did the same thing you suggested which is not to worry about the astrohouse and just let it get better as you progress.
Thank you! My dyslexia was making it really hard to understand how Owl works. I really liked his design, but I couldn't figure out how to get him to work. I think I can get a good build going now.

@Veedotme any chance of a full break down of the other characters? I only found out the other char in this dlc can set the robot to turret mode and was confused why it wasn't firing rockets.

It took me a loooong time to figure out how to be successful at this game. There isn't a ton of explanation in the game itself so these explainers are useful. Sir Owl seems pretty neat, if yeah a little complex. AOE damage is a beautiful thing in this game
Zi Xiao's E is actually very underwhelming compared to their Q. Getting your E to actually do a bunch of damage is not worth the cooldown that it has, as well as how inconsistent it is early game. His Q is way better since damage is more consistent and ramps easier. Even going with a mixed gun and Q build is pretty good.
Just get the thing where it constantly spams cards. It can do huge damage.. Especially with a smg or something
What is your favorite character in Gunfire so far?
Xing Zhe, so much damage
I love the kit and ascensions of Leo, mostly because of the lightning bolt builds feeling so insane as enemies not even on screen start dying.
The rocket launcher monkey. if you get cudgel can hit the same enemy multiple times the numbers (and bodies) start flying. the sword bunny is a close second

Xaio is probably the easiest character to build for me, click cards and skill damage for easy W. Killed lone wolf 4 reincarnation 8 pole monarch in like 30 seconds by looking at him

My brain blanked for a moment so my brain immediately went to YuGiOh:
"Sacrifice your small [Scrolls] for Blue Eyes White Dragon. The more BEWD you have, the higher the chances to get a BEWD Astrohouse [explosion]. More scrolls, highest quality, higher chance of BEWD Astrohouse. BEWD Astrohouse go 'big boom'. We like 'big boom'. Full hand, big boom."
--This is factoring in that even if you have a majority of Leggy scrolls, you need a base-amount of scrolls at that quality to override the Impure chances, hence why he has a entire list of Leggy scrolls and didn't just stop at three with a majority of those three being Leggy.
I'm curious about your opinion on the "pain killer" spiritual blessing. It feels almost like a free win to me.
It is SUPER strong for sure. But sometimes, if I see a character specific Blessing, I get that instead. I enjoy making the "fantasy character" over getting generically strong blessings.
@@Veedotme I can relate to that. I used lone wolf to get painkiller to climb through reincarnation levels. I usually pass it up now when I see it unless I just really don’t feel like putting in any effort into the current run.
