It's funny what Google did this year. I always did love the design of the iPhone but love the software of the Androids. Getting the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL is basically like getting my dream phone. Such a beautiful combination.
Wow bro this is the first time I've seen anyone showcase what video boost can do from a zoom perspective. That's really crazy they can improve the quality that much. Really nice feature despite the cloud processed workflow.
It almost looks too good. What if the phone actually recorded the boost version in the first place (but shows nerfed before uploading)? You upload it (am sure by doing so giving them permission to use it) and Google lets you download download the unlocked version?
Coming from a Pixel fold this has been a game changer. The batterylife is leaps above and the camera is significantly better in all scenarios besides a bright lit room where the pictures seem to be simular.
If u are coming from a china based phone, google is not superior in terms of camera, battery and display. My previous phone was a mid range oppo, Reno 8 pro. Camera is better no doubt coz it's a flagship. But display, colors and vibrancy, oppo wins. Battery, so far, considering 4500mah on the oppo vs the p9p 5050 mah the battery is only on par with both at 120hz. My honest opinion.
Absolutely love my Pixel 9 pro XL and my Pixel watch 3 45mm! Owned both of these since day one and coming from an IPhone 15 pro max along with an Apple watch ultra 2 I can't say I miss them at all! These two devices are really that good, I've had previous pixel phones along with the 8 pro and what a difference Google has done! The screen, battery, modem, chipset (yes on paper it's slower but honestly you don't see it at all using the phone day to day), camera and build. The phone is great. Pixel watch 3 45mm is soooo good too, had the pixel watch 2 and man the bigger size is so needed, its faster too along with the battery is longer it feels like. Google is great this year!
Loving my 9 pro xl! And i am so damn impressed in the video boost feature and I'm definitely going to start using that not only for zoom shots but for making everyday shots better!
Thanks for always pushing out good videos, my Filipino brotha. Definitely happy with obtaining the Pixel 9 Pro XL as my new daily driver 🙏😎💯 Your testimony reaffirms it 😆
I would say the pixel 9 pro XL is a winner I love the battery life. First Pixel for me I like what I saw so time to give it a shot. The SIM switched from my OnePlus 12. Waiting on the OnePlus 13 supposed to be a beast.
I received a Pixel 9 Pro XL. I am warming to the iPhone design which actually is comfortable to hold. Battery life compared to the Pixel 7 Pro is an improvement thought the Pixel 7’s battery wasn’t bad at all. Thr AI features I feel are overrated but I do love the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and the more responsive screen. I have yet to try out the camera but the reviews make it promising.
Thanks for this! I came to this phone after the Samsung Galaxy 21. They had a deal from Verizon so I jumped and there are certain things so far that I like better camera wise with the Samsung but after watching your video I realize that I need to just play with it a little more. Thanks again!!!
Traded in my Z fold 5 for the Pixel strictly for the camera experience. I do a lot of video for my lil UA-cam channel and take lots of pics of my toddlers. The Z fold cameras while fine just wasn't good enough for what I wanted to do. I'll just say I'm more than happy with the switch as a whole. I do miss the bigger screen sometimes, but the Pixel pro XL hit a home run with this iteration. I honestly couldn't be happier with it. The screen is beautiful and the pictures and videos are top of the line. My only real gripe is switching lenses while recording video is pretty janky mostly..... hopefully that gets addressed at some point. Beyond that there's no complaints.
I ordered a Pixel 9 pro, I honestly don't know when i'll get it in the UK, EE is saying it could be up to 30 days before I get my new phone. I love how Iphone looking and clean the pixel is, with stock clean android, basically my dream phone as many others have said...
From Gemini on pixel fold This video is a review about the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL camera, done by Joshua Vergara. Overall, the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL camera is great for anyone who wants a powerful camera companion that automates or intelligently streamlines a lot of processes. Here are some key points from the video: * The phone has a large form factor with a chiseled design and a big camera optic visor on the back. * It comes with a bigger battery (5,60 Mah hours) than the smaller Pixel 9 phones. * The camera system has a high powered triple camera setup: 50 megapixel main camera, 48 megapixel Ultra wide and 48 megapixel telephoto that jumps out at five times optical zoom. The front-facing camera also supports a high megapixel count at 42 megapixels. * There are many software-based enhancements that come with the Pixel camera, including Magic Eraser and HDR+ with Bracketing. * Some of the interesting features are: Zoom Enhance which allows users to zoom in even further after taking a photo and Add Me which helps users capture group photos by automatically inserting them into the shot. * The video quality is great with 4K video recording available. However, autofocus might not always focus on the intended subject in videos. * Overall, the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL camera is a powerful camera companion that takes great photos and videos.
Black tea and peach sounds like a good blend! Green tea can be bitter if you let it steep for too long in water that is too hot - sometimes it can be delicate and needs very specific conditions. I'd say give it a try with slightly cooler water, and maybe with a lighter variety like a Japanese sencha or a nice floral jasmine green tea :)
@@jvtechtea with black tea the trick is to not let it steep too long. After about 5 minutes the blend becomes bitter. I like it right on the border between tangy and bitter 🙂
ill find out tomorrow but if the 9 is anything like the 6 in the camera/video part... camera will focus in video, tap screen in a area and it will stay focused there.
I had this phone for a week , however I find the zoom when change between lenses lags even when I use video boost I can still see it lags between the zoom, is that normal ? Can it be fixed ? Also how would you compare this to the s24 ultra ? Since ppl r always saying Google tensor in underpowered comparing to the the snapdragon……..
@@yaboipookiepookI see a lot of reviews that says that, but if I turn on airplane mode on my 9 XL, nothing works anymore. To me, on device means network or not, I should be able to process AI related tasks. But Gemini, pixel studio, and reimagine all stop working.
I had 7 pro. That phone is the biggest disappointment. It warmed up after 2 minutes in the sun. After that, it ran slower than other phones. New features from the then 8 Pro were released partially and on the 7 Pro, but never all of them. Since Google promises features, you never get it. The phone is good even at its peak a few months after launch. After 6 months, the phone is already outdated. And new functions only get new models, while the first year's ones go into oblivion. I now have s24 U. I think it's definitely the best
"Video Boost vs Regular Video" Not true! For example 10:00 That's Video Boost vs the initial Full HD video boost file, which is much worse than a video without video boost turned on. I tested it in a store with a 1s video boost video. The zoom quality difference between a true regular video and a video boost video is barely noticeable. You need two Pixel 9 Pro in order to record a regular video and a video boost video simultaneously. Many reviewers make this mistake.
Wow you just taught me something - I checked back on the video files and the lesser video is indeed of a different resolution, made just so there is a cover to easily display a preview (albeit a particularly bad looking one). I personally still saw a marked improvement in the video after boosting, so my thoughts still kind of stand including my thought of how the video is still not something I'd jump toward using outside of a casual scenario. In an upcoming video on the Pixel 9 Pro, I'll make sure to mention this discrepancy. I find it a little odd that the Pixels wouldn't let you keep both videos, before and after boosting, eh?
Indeed, the majority of testers compare the video boost result to the video left on the smartphone, while the video on the smartphone is only a preview, barely in FHD.

Great video! Whats the gimbal/tripod you're using in the park?
For AI this is definitely a better buy than the iPhone 16 Pro series.
