I just released my Buick envision on Tuesday. Lease was up, the car has 16000 miles, garage kept. It actually had a accumulated 10,000 dollars more than my residual. So it paid for my down payment (almost) on my new XT5. I priced a new envision but the payment worked out to be almost a hundred more than the Cadillac. You know which way I went. Love that Caddy.
@@Abdulkader-pq7cj I would give it a 10. I owned a Grand Cherokee Overland prior which wasn't as suppressed as far as noise is concerned. It wasn't bad but the Cadillac is better. I must say I'm very impressed with the cancellation of noise in the cabin of the XT5 once the doors are closed. Very well insulated. I am constantly getting complimented on Car as well.
I love my 2023 XT5 Premium Luxury. The safety features are necessary with the crazy urban drivers. I have the Technology package with the V6. I wish I could get better gas mileage but only have 3300 miles on it. Nice review. This is my 2nd XT5. I had loved my 2010 SRX.
I would buy this. Liking the smaller center screen. A lot of cars are getting carried away with their screen size. It seems like this is just a comfortable luxury SUV and not trying to be a BMW X5 or something like that. Quite a few for sale in the used market where I live. Great review as always Nolan.
I just got the 2024 version of this. It looks exactly the same. Very nice straightforward review. I must say I’m very pleased with it. It looks great and it’s definitely a solid car. I have the optional engine as well, and I find that it really picks up speed, much quicker than the standard.
This cars are a good value when purchased after 3 year lease return as a certified vehicle. Let someone else pay the lease on a 68k sticker and purchase with 30k miles for 39k.
GOOD ENOUGH ?? NO, not for $68,000. bought my wife an XT5, 2019 one year ago. Had 16,000 miles on it for $39M. It is the one up from the bottom (The Delux) and it is very nice. Has most of what this car has, a very nice car. I just can't see $68M
Front cup holders: No rubber bellows (allow for different sized drink containers to fit and not wobble) in the front, but present in the rear cup holders? Ironically, 4 years ago (other UA-cam reviews) the front cup holders have the rubber bellows to hold you drink container steady. Why did Cadillac (and others) remove these????
The XT5 shares the same platform with the CUV’s offered by Chevy, Buick, and GMC. It’s an underwhelming vehicle and you’re probably better off driving a well optioned GMC or Buick. I don’t see 68K for the XT5 given the amount of switchgear that’s used from the GM parts bin - and it definitely shows in the interior, and you can certainly get a better product from the Germans and Asians for a lot less money.
I like it but it's a rebadged and slightly upgraded Equinox. A fully loaded Equinox Premier could be picked up for about $30k back in 2018 and the fact they are asking $65k for this 👎👎👎👎
Some tips for anyone contemplating buying one of these overpriced SUVs. We have a 2018. Had to find out the hard way that it didn't come with a spare. If you buy one. Make sure it comes with a spare. Should be noted that the entire front end is plastic. If you need to replace the grille or headlight assembly. The entire front end has to be removed. Oh yes, each headlight assembly is approximately $800.00! Due to the shortage of cars and the high prices. We bought out the lease on our 2018. While the xt5 is a nice enough vehicle. There are plenty of others available at a much lower price i.e. Mazdas!

I purchased a 2022 XT5 last year. LOVE the car !! So comfortable to drive and kicks when you give it the pedal....Not disappointed at all. !!
Out of 1 to 10 how do you rate the noise suppression??

@andreachambliss3383 - What is your fuel mileage?

Got mine Saturday. ❤ it!
I bought a 2017 Black on Black Premium Luxury for $17,500
Even at 100,000 miles still kicks ass. LOVE it

Just picked up that car yesterday. I got 2 day old love. So far sooo good.
It's your review to this car I've been waiting 😢 Thanks for always Detailed review car tour 🙏🏻
I love the interior
So yes I would.
This Cadillac always scream I’m retired

Hey Nolan Thank You for the Unbiased Through Review! 😂 That double MPH Reading is Freaky
Always informative, thank you!!
For faster take offs get a roarpedal. I have this on shadow grey I love it.
Is the cab quiet?
Test drove a XT4 the cabin was very loud going down the freeway 😮
Great review Nolan as always 😊
Thanks
What is with the dual digital speedo on the dash binnacle? What is the purpose? HUD, analog speedo and two digital speedos? Seems excessive.
70k hell no not that stylish better off getting an infiniti
I would get that with black rims and black grill. 😁
Awesome!!!!
You're joking, right? This dated, senior citizen dune buggy is a 40K vehicle all day long.
How do you tell when you're running out of.gas??? I see no E or F on the dashboard.
They have replaced the E and F with a gauge with 1 for full and 0 for empty. It's on the lower left side of the left-side tach gauge.

Mazdas are very cramped though and the CX 50s are overpriced. At least in Canada they are since some are going for nearly 60k.
I have a 2018 Mazda CX-5 and a 2017 XT5. While I love the Mazda and it's reliability, you just be joking when comparing it to the XT5.
