Yesterday I sat in my car eating lunch at work while watching this. I thought about how much my life has changed for the better when I did the exact things Scytoxil says in this video. I was nihilistic and depressed for many years, but real life is out there for all of us. The catch is you have to seek it and push yourself to be better and more well rounded as a person, and that takes effort. But the moments of toil almost immediately make you feel better and pull you out of the hole. Don't quit. Be the man you think you aren't. Always remember time is limited and be present in the lives of your loved ones, but most importantly YOUR LIFE as well.
I hadn't considered the persepctive you're giving before. I usually look at any camping trip or LARPing experience as an opportunity to verify that all of my equipment and training will work in a variety of environments. I also use it to practice IMTs and small unit tactics with buds. I honestly forgot about the unironic /k/ommando STALKER LARPer type who will memespew "cheeki breeki" while buying up crappy Soviet gear and LARPing with no intention to actually learn from it. Its dumb, but I never even considered I was getting black pilled. I was looking at Lora Meshtastic devices the other day, and I thought to myself, that's a fair bit of money. If something happened what use would they be? Why bother buying something that I likely would die before using in a real world situation? Instead of buying something tbat would teach me, engage me, and have use in case of a grid down scenario, I bought a 12 dollar burrito. Even if I didn't talk myself out of buying something objectively useful and a fun productive hobby, I still spent that money on something I didn't need. I could have saved it for something else, but I thought at the time the temporary enjoyment of a tasty meal minus the effort of cooking was a worthwhile transaction. I realize I'm doing that with my time and energy as well. Why bother dry firing my guns, I'm too broke to afford much ammo and go to the range anyway. Why bother exercising, I'm too tired everyday to want the benefits. All these excuses that I didn't even really understand I was making just kept piling up one on top of another. I've wasted several years of my life just... giving up, one small choice at a time. I can't even recall the last time I read the bible, or had a serious prayer. I at best repeat the same prayer I have for years. Lord please forgive me, for the sins I have committed, in word, thought and deed. I used to just talk to God after that, whatever was on my mind. But like I said, at best I repeat the start of it while laying flat on my back in bed before going to sleep. I don't know who you are, this video popped into my recommended, its currently 2 36 here as I write, but I think I needed to see this video. Its reminded me I need to do better, be better, and that life is still worth living. So thank you for creating this. I'm gonna get on my knees, have a talk with God and go to bed.
As a dude who hasn't even been recommended your channel before I think this is one of the most important things that needs to be said in the larposphere. I still have a long way to go in my own betterment, and the world is losing its way in many regards IMO, but one day I realized that the world's fate doesn't mean I can't live a better life, better myself as best I can, and improve things from where they are to somewhere I'm happy with. Its somewhat ironic this video end up in my feed today. I have just set to go to bed, and I had just had a talk with my friends about Yukio Mishima and the so called “blackpill”. And while i scrolled i choose this video, as it seemed to match my general views and oh boy. I felt almost described by many of the common slanders given to people related to the black pill. In early years I have never really felt i was functional, most due to my judgement of the world, and mostly due to the way i see people. In so many cases i have despised good girls and good friends only cause they did not match expectations. And I really feel this video embodies the feeling of emptyness that comes with being attached to the notion that you have lost everything and that the world is collapsing. Today I had a shitty day, and this video showed how most of the shittyness came from my constant mental torment which is created from my attachment to the insecurity that this “ideology” creates on you. Another nice vid scytoxil and i felt like you talked about me. my 8th and 9th grade i was in lockdown coz of covid and practicaly lost the years that most people my age develp, after that i went to secondary school which was a big shock. Most of my classmates were totaly diferent started dring smoking weed and all that shit (evrope) and i didn't even got drunk for the first time so there might have been some bullying. Kinda had a depresd time started going on 4chan which wasn't good for me and this continued to the end of my second year during the summer i met some nice friends and did fun stuff got a driving liciense and everything got good started feeling good again and noticed that for nearly 2 years i was taking the ,,blackpill, but now i try to have fun always, something bad happens in school dosn't matter home someone try's to make fun of me being short tell him he is a fatass coz he drinks beer by liters. This being a hobby shouldn’t be looked at as a bad thing all “larping” is training if you apply the motivation to grow your capabilities..who is paying $1000+ on kit and only using it for pictures…the truth is if you are doing that you obviously share some concern of what’s happening around the world and the possibility is what needs to be addressed,furthermore everyone has their own way of coping with the inevitable regardless what’s scale it’s on(could be life or death considering death is natural and unpreventable) (could be a natural disaster we know is bound to happen and we should all have the capability to deal with it).
I think there's a balance. I do this for a multitude of reasons. I started hiking with a rifle because I let myself turn into a fat piece of shit when I got out the Army, and it was starting to catch up to me healthwise. I'm happy to say I'm down 30lbs, but still have a ways to go. I train probably as much as I go out just for fun. Fwiw, I let myself fall into the prepared boogman mentality for a long time, and it's really taxing on the mind. I guess I'm just trying to say Larping is just as important for mental health as actual training is for surviving.
To be honest I treat this all as a hobby because thats exactly what it is. I believe I can differentiate between what is chronically online bullshit and what belongs in reality so I'll be fine but some of these fucking weirdos I've met online do not have that skill. I only think they should just take a long hard break to think to themselves about their choices. Just take it day by day and reflect on things when the time is right and you need it. Love the Jesus talk. I think we should use the coming societal collapse to not despair but to be prepared to rebuild our great country into a nation for Christ. Christ had to die to be resurrected and so does a country. So be vigilant and use this time to grow in virtue because we will need it. It is also hard to find a trad wife, I managed to find a pagan girl and converted her and now we go to church every Sunday and have one baby we baptized and hopefully we will have many more to come.

I only think they should just take a long hard break to think to themselves about their choices. Just take it day by day and reflect on things when the time is right and you need it. Love the Jesus talk. I think we should use the coming societal collapse to not despair but to be prepared to rebuild our great country into a nation for Christ. Christ had to die to be resurrected and so does a country. So be vigilant and use this time to grow in virtue because we will need it. It is also hard to find a trad wife, I managed to find a pagan girl and converted her and now we go to church every Sunday and have one baby we baptized and hopefully we will have many more to come.
