The SHEER VOLUME of scenario units here is insane. It feels like a whole new AoE game that is adding a ton to make sure it has plenty of options. What I find really odd is there is a re-skinned Camel Rider, but it's a scenario-only unit. Why is this not in the tech tree? Especially for the Achaemenids, who would have had them in their employ. Even if they were not added for them, it seems weird to just cut them out of the tech tree when they will almost certainly be needed for future civs.
giving them camels AND chariots might be too powerful tbh, spartans and athenians are already getting hard countered by chariot, so any of their cav options ALSO being hard countered by camels might be too much power
You can see the level of detail put in this spin-off. Great addition to the game. I would like to know your opinion on this kind of DLC. Personally, I think it comes with huge potential for the future of the game.
There is definitely potential. If this DLC does well, they will no doubt consider more "Chronicles" DLC. It is nice to be getting so many new units and objects for the scenario editor as well.
I'm the only one who got desperate when I clicked on the mace soldier, I sent him to hit the wall and then I moved him away, I wanted to see how he attacked and what sound he made
Great showcase! The fandom wiki says that villagers can gather from Oysters, is that correct? Do they have a special animation and name for that, and what do they say when tasked to Oysters (my guess would be the same voiceline as fishermen?) And can the old civs' villagers do the same?
Not directly, no. Maybe if you modified the berry bush to use the grapevine graphics, then you could have something that looks like they are harvesting grapes.
The difficulty in identifying the units at first is normal, cause there are so many new units. In no time people will memorize them.
They arent inteded for multiplayer so makes sense that they didnt try to make them easily recognizables
I love the differing culturally accurate unit skins. Here is hoping we see it for all the future civs / updates.

YES! This is perfect! Thankyou!

@@Zetnus I just wish the grape vines grapes were a bit brighter. They look nice but are abit dull coloured.
Perfect! Thank you for this (I asked for this as RyanMcGauley on your other video)
oh awesome! i was thinking in the last video i wish you had zoomed in a bit! this is great :)
Thanks for this, i really love seeing the small guys moving around :D. Also, is my idea or the cavalry units dont have stirrups?

Thanks for the closeup. Are you able to show us the rest of the units? Dionysus, etc?

They become "oyster gatherers". Works for the old civs too. Animation and voices are the same as a miner.
@@Zetnus That's funny. Do they walk away carrying gold like a gold miner, or oysters/pearls?
@@lasserrdamnielsen6655 They carry gold.
@@Zetnus That's a bit weird, but without a separate animation it's probably as good as it gets 😁
Πρόσταγμα?
god job
I wanna replace the Byzantine voice lines with the new Athenian lines.
Can the villagers harvest from the vineyard fences? The grapes

@@Zetnus Missed opportunity by the devs!
Great job! Love you
