All I can say is wow.. This is one of the nicest body kits i've worked with before, and its so insane to see this car slowly transform right infront of me! I love that I get to show you all this whole process, being the first installed Junction Produce body kit on a Century in America is a pretty proud moment for me! I hope you are all looking forward to seeing the rest of the progress on this car as I am, because its moving fast and will hopefully be painted and officially mounted soon!

gotta put the chrome trim around the wheel arches but honestly thought it looked terrible while he was fitting it but it looks pretty fucking good aired out.
The factory chrome stuff made the car look much more classy
I agree, I’m not opposed to the kit but I think it’s gonna need something like that trim to keep the “class”. Maybe trim the wheel arches to fit, I think the car would look best with chrome wheels like something on a CLK AMG but bigger.

Yeah, I like the OEM stuff better too, and I would put fat face wheels, or some vintage Japanese looking wheels
PRO TIP: Pop all the curtains and the other white pieces out of the interior and wash them with Oxy Clean. they will look showroom new.

You should make the stock wheels into a 20 inch 3 piece wheel. It looks so good so far.

Junction Produce isn't obscure... they're possibly the most famous name in vip body kits.

This is gunna turn out sooooo good. N love how nothing is cut or chopped so it can go straight back to factory.
Personally I like the chrome cladding. Perhaps you can go with what you wanted originally for the ls400.. have it two-tone black and silver. I think that will give it that classy VIP look and it will break up the body line a little so it won’t look so much like a black featureless brick. Also, those meisters look super tiny on the car

Your videos inspired me to get a LS400 I can’t wait to mod it. Left the car scene when my slammed hardbody got stollen and it killed me inside but seeing your videos gave me a spark to do a VIP build like I’ve always wanted🫡
26:06 NEED to get a custom DIVINE neon sign made, and hang it up in a blacked out photo set for that duo poster.
also I forget the details, but someone in the Japanese VIP scene once said the meaning of VIP is for a young punk to cruise around in a modified super expensive luxury car and make all the old onlookers wonder to themselves how the hell they got that car. I think you are nailing the spirit with this build, and still keeping it tasteful, respectful to the car and keeping it mostly reversible.

Hey Mike I just had major back surgery Monday and your video is right on time. I was hoping the Century content was going to be soon so thank you. Now you just have to get Sammit on the right page. And as far as my opinion on what you're doing with the car I 100% support what you're doing. Everyone should be able to personalize their vehicles and what you're doing isn't tacky so thumbs up.

Paint those pieces all a light brown color, except the front bumper has to be painted black even with the height of the side skirt. Two tone would look great.

If the fronts are et22 and you added say a 5mm spacer they are now a et17 not higher et. Shaving the pad would make them a higher offset as the wheel would be inset more. Car looks sick! Can't wait to see it painted. Also waiting for some exhaust mods to see what the Toyota v12 sounds like!
At first I was a little apprehensive over how it will turn out when you first said you were going to do this. So far I think it will turn out sick! I really like these Toyota Century cars.

With The kit is what the century shoulda looked like from the factory tbh, it extends the car just enough. But what’s the idea for paint tho cause two tone would look pretty baller 🫣
At 2018 I worked at russian bodyshop and i did reassembling of this kit, but it was short v8 version and I remember cutting off this door pisces with string. Btw car that i worked on came from Fukushima zone already with this body kit and was stored for years at the customs for some reason.
I'm excited to see it painted. I think it will look great with less chrome. Those meisters look tiny though.

the other thing you can do for the add-one skirts and lips and door pieces like around 12:41 in the video is use a weatherstriping like s2000 front lip weather striping, it sticks to the skirt side with adhesive and provides a nice oem finish that prevents rubbing between the panels as well!

Kit looks great and awesome to have it fitting so mint. not a massive fan of the front bumper but very hard to tell with the kit not been painted.
With the stock body it looks like something that the president would ride in . With the body kit it looks like something that a Yakuza boss would ride in . 👍

Kit looks awesome. Wheels...not so much. Love that you're having custom wheels make with the stock style though. I love when people do stuff like that (like the Drift HQ C4). Nice work.
Should get custom blacked out curtains made and black out the wheels too. When you get the kit painted....🤌🤌🤌 Ritdye would work on the curtains to black them out as well. That kit is so killer. Straight Bentley vibes.

I’m awful judging unpainted body kits, I like the idea and I think it will look good. My concern is the trim, it made the car that much more unique. Is there a way to give it that “class” somehow without the trim?

Dope! Love how the cladding just adds that little bit more to help balance out the middle section ~ reminds me of how the ones on my GVR-4 are or an AMG Type 1/2 Galant do the same as well!
Chrome wheels are an absolute necessity on this thing. Since you took all the chrome off the lower half of the car, the wheels need to pick up the slack to keep the balance of chrome on the car from looking too top-heavy. The kit does look totally fire though, a good choice indeed.
Definitely needs a 19 inch rim. Either way looking amazing.

As much as im not a chrome guy, the car looks like it may need just a smidge of it back for the lower half. It looked really balanced aesthetically with the full lower and upper chrome bits

There are some wheels made for the mid 60s Lincoln Continental by Isotope Wheels. Some of their styles might look really good on here. Since this is a very JDM car but it obviously kind of has the old American big body luxury look and feel to it.
