It's a wonderful device, I was an early backer and have been continually amazed by the capabilities of the Oxi One as well as the stellar support from its creator, Manu. Perfect Circuit really should have talked about the randomisation features, the modulation capabilities, the project saving, the templates and the MIDI CCs among other things. So for those watching who don't have one yet - there is a LOT more under the hood than is shown here. And there are new modes coming. :)
Really good video! I love my OXI. Even when I'm tired or don't have inspiration OXI always can guide me 😊 I should make more videos with OXI ONE jams 🤭
Looks good as a Polyend Play w/the polyend 2 poly 2 built in, minus the sample files. This would be more useful than Polyend if you’re interested in integrating your gear than adding a sample based groove box.
@@shifteleven No. Velocity can be added later but the pads are not sensitive to pressure or aftertouch. It a) would cost a LOT more to manufacture and b) would be horrible as the pads are too small for such nuanced control. Better as they are.
Looks like it’s plugged to the midi thru, and I’m assuming it’s a wireless adapter of some kind, probably sending the midi info to a computer or something for recording midi information in a DAW, IMO.
@@paulkuiper5289 I respectfully advise that no matter how many BSPs you buy, they won't come close to the functionality of the Oxi One. I understand it's impossible to fully appreciate the feature set of a device without owning one but the level of control, customisation and depth of sequencing on the Oxi One is lightyears ahead of the BSP. That said, for the price, the BSP is a fantastic little sequencer, it's a step on the path to something like an Oxi One.

I was a backer, best project i ever backed. This is an amazing sequencer and the support is top notch !
I was an early backer of the OXI. A truly magnificent sequencer and the Virus is such a good pairing for it!

Definitely getting one. Wouldn't it fun though if these demos had a drum loop. Just one.

I was a backer for the Kickstarter. It’s a super flexible sequencer and can speak CV so great for modular setups too.
Do the pads support velocity or after touch?

@@lstlvls2521 cool. Thanks
Just got mine, love it. And they've been updating it frequently with a huge new update (3.0) coming out soon
really? cool, whats expected in the new update?
Great, I also got an Akira t-shirt since 1991 and an Oxi 1
immediate Yes! what a combination for the footprint
Most importantly: I need a link to that Akira shirt
Keeping that hipster / Eurorack cliche alive and kicking
That's what you wear when you want people to think you have mental issues bro.😮
What MIDI cable do you have hooked up to the "MIDI Thru" on that Virus TI?
Yes please.
how many midi outs and what standard?
He just fisted his unsuspecting controller.
great tool for the untalented randomizers
Nice vid, I also saw you in the T1 video, how do you compare this with the Torso T1?
Super Sick
yeah Brain!!!
I want one. But $750 right now.
Cool, cool. But does it sequence?
What do you mean ?
@@jfg09 that was a typo. I meant to ask “does it make a mean Margarita?”

This or a hapax ?
What is the answer to this? ❤
Sequencers
Ummm can we address the sexy elephant in the room?? WHAT is that mesmerizing little tube looking thing plugged into the Virus midi thru port???

it's just a lil innerclock midi moniter :)
Came to the comments just for this answer.
Did someone say ‘sequencer’?? 😉
Holyshit that thing is expensive..
It's actually far cheaper than the Squarp Hapax. And much cheaper than a Cirklon.
Comparatively it really isn’t
@@lstlvls2521 yes but i could buy 3 beatstep pro's for the same price for another example. Still a lot of money for just a sequencer.
