You've put a tremendous amount of work into this and it's good to see it finally bearing fruit. Good luck with AIFF.
A bunch of random AI generated images? Is there going to be a story, and will it be AI generated too? Knowing how sarcastic Frank was, I'd wonder if he'd prefer this or consider it as bad as he saw music videos and bands created just for them. This looks pretty wild, I'll have to see what it comes out being as I've just heard of it.
That is indeed an interesting question. He was one to put new technology to his use often before anyone else had even heard of it, so watching these trailers and other teasers, and listening to the beautiful soundtrack -at least what I heard of it so far-, this might be just something he'd like or at least approve of a lot more than for instance a 3-disc releases of his own studio jams (of which he himself decided that only about a quarter of an hour was interesting enough to use on an album) being advertized and sold as "the Lost Album"; we know he would be appalled by that. The more I see of this Zappa Galaxy project the more I get puzzled and interested to see what it is going to be in it's completeness.
Just curious about something. Universal Music Group bought the rights to everything in the Zappa vault, all the music, film, everything, and even owns the rights to his "image likeness." Do you have the permission to make a film about Zappa? I'm not asking as a narc, just wondering if this can get you in legal hot water.
Penelope Spheeris made an indie doc about Black Sabbath kind of under the radar, though she had cooperation from the guys in the band. However, management [you-know-who] made a deal to play it out theatrically impossible for Spheeris to sign, so it plays festivals and copies are floating around the ether, kind of like MC5: A True Testimonial. So as long as no money exchanges hands, anyone can potentially see it.

If anyone could save the world, it would be Frank. If I could reanimate anyone, it would be Frank. That said, is this a video game or a movie? What's it about? I don't mean to disrespect your creation but I'm genuinely uncertain.
I love Zapper and appreciate what you’re doing here but can I just say, in the nicest possible way, that you should cut this by about half. There are a lot of shots that don’t do anything other than look pretty. They don’t progress the storyline at all and are kind of confusing. The entire second half for me was kind of pointless and confusing. Maybe try to storyboard your idea and make sure each shot/scene adds to the story and progresses it. It felt a bit like you had loads of cool AI clips and you wanted to include all of them… I’m no expert so take this with a grain of salt, but as the audience I felt confused and bored in the second half. I really like how you set up the story at the beginning but it kind of lost its way in the middle and lost me completely at the end. AI is also terrible for continuity so cut out half of the spaceships and just include the ones that look fairly similar. I didn’t understand all of the car in the desert stuff or the cop in the pink car (even though it was cool!) And finally, how about a Zapper-esque solo when your dude is shredding on the rock at the end? And a final final note… who is the nosferatu guy and the bald guy who walks towards the camera? I hope this is helpful. I’m not criticising your work, just trying to give some suggestions to make it even better! I loved the cinematic vibe and music, kinda like Bladerunner. And I understand that the slow moving pace is a stylistic choice but maybe mix it up a bit in places. Cheers! Looking forward to seeing an edit of this in future!

it's a sci-fi movie about a Frank Zappa clone. An entire movie made by one guy with some use of AI and new tools. An experiment.
