Tips To Install LED Lights In the Redcat Racing Gen8 Axe Edition Dashboard - RCU How To

The Redcat Racing Gen8 Axe Edition can easily be customized by adding a light kit to the headlights and bumpers, but did you know you can add LED lights to the dashboard too? Yes, you can! The Axe Edition dashboard has four locations where LED lights can be added. Doing so will illuminate the dashboard for a cool custom and scale look. In this video, we go over the steps necessary to install the LED lights in the dash. You will need a light set of four 3mm LED lights of your choice and some basic RC tools.

i was intending on getting a 2nd trx 4 because traxxas are the "best" but the gen 8 has taken that spot 😳amazed at this well done to redcat 👍

The Axe RTR box only has 4 screws for the light clips and the light kit itself doesn't have any screws. Trying to find the right size screw online. wish me luck lol

Can the redcat light kit handle any additional 4 led string? I hate to have two kits in the RC.. be really crowded
