I just did my Gen 9 tonight. If you reverse the throttle on the light module it will turn on the reverse lights when backing up. Then I cut the tail lights out and installed the smaller bulbs and used those two for my gauges. Worked out well. Great vid
Great video. Did those white stripes go on ok down the side. I thing the V has to be cut off below the scout. I just got mine so it's time to get decaling and adding lites. I have a action figure coming from Jurassic world that should be perfect. I'm making mine all 12volt light system. It's awesome when you can add lgihts and the extra decals. Gonna add some Traxxas Gray D rings too. I just put some Treal Blue anodized wheels on mine too. Exocaged added the sway on his so I ordered one of those too. I wish they made the drive shafts turn opposite of each other.

Nice mod. The flickering comes from the settings of the shutter, from the camera. Here you must adjust the shutter till the flicker is lost...

Did you find it difficult to take the wires out of socket 2 when you have to take the body off? I partly broke the plastic taking it out
Fortunately, no. I just unplug the main harness from the controller when taking the body off. Sorry yours broke.

$43 for the Gen9 light kits seems a bit excessive. I would think it is better than the $15 amazon kits but not sure about almost $30 more. 🚥🚦🚨
