- A 4,000 MILE ELECTRIC VEHICLE MOVING ADVENTURE FROM SANIBEL, FL TO CLEVELAND AND COLUMBUS, OH TO NEW YORK CITY AND BACK TO SANIBEL, FL. EPISODE 1 OF 2
THE GARAGE THAT HELPED ME OUT IN WEST VIRGINIA WITH THE FLAT TIRE WAS PIFERS SERVICE CENTER, EXIT 170 MINERAL WELLS, WV.
So is the Tesla EV #3?? (Love your videos. I recognized the 271/71 merge footage. I live in Hinckley and go to Sanibel every other year. Might take the Mach-e this spring if we get the Tesla access by then. I'm not as brave as you through WV haha
West Virginia is tough, but doable with those dealerships in Charleston. Tesla, Lightning, Rivian R1-S.
8:56 what a tool! 👊
Right?
In a year or two, all new EVs will have NACS chargers. So finding an open charging station will be a lot easier for non tesla owners.
Its not that hard now and yes it will be even easier in a few weeks.
travel out of our lovely part of the state with our EVs? naww.. impossible.. ^_^ yeah.. i dunno... I've done the Miami-to-Cincinnati run 3 times now... including with some 10F fun. Sadly moving soon, so kinda want an EV truck.. but not really needed most of the time for me. ^_^
Most people don't need a truck very often, but they are quite popular.
Do you know if you can use the 120v outlets on the truck while DC fast charging? For example, can you cook some Ramen noodles while charging?
Yes you can.
If you had a bigger battery it would have more charge when you got home therefore it would be the same amount of charging over night.
is this a standard range or extended range?
Extended Range
