As an African-American southern man who has traveled this world, the message in this content is so true.
One problem I've seen is that some people want the Bible's teachings on an á la carte basis. IT DON'T WORK THAT WAY. I can't hate someone for who they voted for or their personal choices within their life. I can point them to verses that can enlightened them, but to argue, fuss and fight? That isn't the way we improve either way.
The best thing we can do is to keep lighting the paths for others to follow, if they so choose. I, and my family, have been and will remain trusting the Lord God through the end. Be blessed!

A thought... with critical application. Does this scripture mean to fear The Lord or have only the fear that comes from the Lord. The fear of being outside His grace in judgement and apart from Him eternally is an extremely sobering fear. That fear aligns us with Him and enables the faith to face and refute all other fear.

I have to confess, I was getting WAY to involved in the political mess we are in. I did receive peace from the Holy Spirit telling me God has this under His control and everything happens for His glory!!! Even though WE don't understand or like everything that has happened or is happening, we must accept God is in control. I had to quit watching and listening to things on the internet (I never liked Fakebook and do not do watch main stream), but I did watch alternative channels to get truth. God has put it in my heart to be happier now, and it is much better than before....................God bless you all

But to suggest that it’s Congress’s role to intervene in the question of state constitutionality is wrong.
"Indeed, it would completely upend fundamental constitutional principles if Congress, rather than the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, were the last word on the meaning of the Pennsylvania Constitution, and yet that’s what Hawley’s arguing for here," he said.
With 100% respect, I listened to Friday’s Unashamed podcast. First, Jesus is King, on that I agree. However, I was there as a peaceful protestor. I didn’t break into the Capitol, but I did make my voice heard. 1M-2M of us were standing for our country. Please don’t paint the majority of us as godless heathens. I love Jesus first, but I’m also standing up for my country. We didn’t burn down the Capitol. And President Trump did not command us to lead the insurrection. I was letting myself get caught up in the thing’s that’s happened the last few day’s. I’ve been shouting with everyone else. Yes we need to stand up and take this country back. One thing I can say that is good about communism is that people will seek God more than ever. Sad that people wait till things get very difficult. My parents came from USSR and they said that they would meet in houses and seek God. My grandfather even went to a work camp because he preached the gospel on the train.

I have cried for this country as I watch it fall, this is no longer the United States I know and love. It has become a violent and frightening place with total disregard for our President. My heart is broken. I am so grateful that I belong to God, and that I put my life, faith, trust, and hope in my Saviour Jesus. Would we have broken free from the King if we had not taken up arms and defended our religious rights. What was the significance of Runnymede (Magna Carta) if not for protection of faith of conscience.. which was used for framing the Mayflower Compact after men and women fled religious persecution and founded a new country....which led to our Declaration of Independence and 1776 and the fight for freedom. Our vote did NOT count on Nov 3, it will never count again. It is over. The USA is not a free country....Fighting for religious freedom has been my focus these last 2 decades...on Nov 3....that light was snuffed out.....May God guide us as His glory is made manifest in us as the persecution begins....the Bible and history has shown us.....his name is glorified in the midst of suffering and persecution....What is our role as Christ bearers....we can be respecters of men ....But we can also fight for freedom..... @Robert Secor I didn’t say that it was the only reason. But the separatists fleeing to the New World to escape religious persecution was a huge part of the founding of America. If you were public schooled, as I was, we were taught a Revisionist History. Read Historical narratives from before 1930. Better yet, the writings from early the colonials and settlers. Read the biographies of these men and women who fled England into Holland and thus made their way to America. It was not to flee taxes, though they certainly held under the tyranny of the king. But, religious convictions were a driving force in the founding of this great nation. It was preserved in the the Constitution for a reason. Yet...public schools don’t cover that aspect of the founding....you know...because of the God factor. It is brushed over or perhaps mentioned in a short paragraph, even the Thanksgiving account is distorted. Religion is taken out of history books and our children never truly learn or see the reason behind settling of civilization or the movements that led to war and peace. Where is God. If the men and women of history had no convictions, or conscience of faith, which drove them in their pursuits ....then what was it for. No wonder the cure generations are so eager to sign up for socialism....they have no basis for thinking that any of their history was for a purpose or cause. They’re so willing to hand over their rights and freedoms.
I’ve just spent a about a $1000 finding biographies that were written before the 1940s. A series for my children to read. Hard to find as the publishers revamped them and rewrote to accommodate modern thought and published and still print in their revised form.
Won’t it be interesting, and sad, to see how the events of these past four years are recorded in public school history books. No doubt, future public school students will learn about these events and develop the thought and mind frame that patriots were nothing more than white, middle class bigots, uneducated, and greedy. No mention will be given of the driving force of the conservative movement.....preserving religious freedom, ending abortion and valuing all life, and defending our rights as defined in the constitution. The word pestilences is translated in Greek as diseases and the word divers is translated as various. Earthquakes are everywhere and diseases of all kinds Ebola, swing flu, SARS, aids, Asian flu, Spanish Flu, Russian Flu, Covid19 and many more. Until we love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and love thy neighbor as thyself, there will be no change. As I listen to you all. It's makes me realize how wrong in anger i am, I'am a patriot. I love my God, my Lord and savior jesus. But I haven't been sleeping well because of what's is happening to our beautiful country. I have lost all my joy and happiness for many years now. Now we got the riots, the burning of cities. Biden and his executive orders. Putting people out of work,Again and all the evil there is. It has been a real struggle for me in every way there is, I have been saved and baptized as well as my children. But I have been feeling hopeless, maybe I guess because of my lack in faith idk,. But your teaching has been helping me calm down. I thank you for that.

I was 1/2 way through the episode and came to comment that I disagree with your view of what took place at the Capitol. I was there. The overwhelming majority of us were calm, peaceful and happy to be out in the freezing cold to gather in support of our Nation, our President, our laws, freedoms and rights. A small group did not “storm” that building, they were LET IN. The majority of those who went in did so peacefully. Do I agree with that no, I do agree with us showing our presence to the officials in that building the way we did. It was an amazing day and a very sobering and sad day of which I am still recovering. I pray to God to show his mercy on us all.

I totally agree we would not have a free country without fighting. I’ll tell you what was clear as day to me Phil talked about it. When he talked about empires falling. It’s clear as day now to me the United States is beginning that tumble. If you believe anything about the Bible read Romans chapter 12 and really give it some thought. See if it reminds you of the USA a little. I’m a fighter by nature it’s just how I am and likely THEAMERICAN 1776 that posted the original comment is to. I will say this you can’t fight a political fight the way we think of fighting is. I watched Biden tell BLM to fight for what they want. I also seen Trumps tweet and I don’t even have Twitter or Facebook but he said fight for the election that was stolen. Both are talking to some people that know what fighting is. They are sitting behind secret service against that have endless backup telling us to fight. They are not talking about fighting as we know it. They don’t even know what a fight is. Look at Mrs. Harris soon to be VP she’s told BLM to keep fighting. She probably never even been in a slapping match much less a fight. She’s an attorney her way of fighting is to talk trash while guarded in a courtroom by police that have unlimited backup. They are not connected to reality. There is nothing that any of them are saying that relates to anything we as the American people have to go through if we fight. That goes for Biden supporters or Trump supporters. I really liked Trump and have voted for him every time. Now I realize he to is turning into a politician and that makes them part of the empire that is starting to tumble. OK so if we’re going to fight you have to be 45 to run for president so if we’re going to fight I think we need Mike Tyson to run for president just saying I think if it comes down to throwing some punches I’m voting for Tyson he’ll take Trump, Biden, and Mrs. Harris out all at the same time with one left hook. Saying all of this if your wanting to fight like they are telling you make sure they are leading the fight so you have their unlimited backup when the FBI knocks on your door. They are all trash talkers and nothing we can do about it but listen to their junk because believe you me they really do have unlimited backup and they are not going to use it for you.
Lol. It wasn’t the fighting that made America the nation it is. It was the trust in God.
@@chrismartin3072 no have you read the Bible? Warriors would go out and FIGHT for their countries and God rewarded them. In some cases it was commanded of them. You have to under that their is a battle of good vs evil. Even in the battle of Armageddon he will fight.
If God ignites a storm he has a definite purpose in mind.
If God has Joe Biden be elected as President, I am going to support it! You can’t claim that God put trump in office but not Biden.

I agree with everything Phill said and think the world of you guys , but JASE needs to learn about contested election before he speaks at no time does one man decides who the president is , the people was wanting pence to not certify the electors so it would have went to the House of Representatives to be voted on by the 50 state delegates or at least a 10 day investigation before voted. On . There were many good god fearing people who worked hard at protecting the constitution and the laws set up by the framers just for the protection of corruption we are dealing with, it is an injustice to those that have worked hard to miss represent the truth, please read up on what was going on concerning the election law before speaking, the truth and Christ is all we have

God told me to go to the capitol. When I got there, He only told me the next step. He eventually led me to the senate floor where I pled the Blood of Jesus over this nation. After I got shot in the face, I figured retreating and getting medical attention was the smart thing to do but He said no. He had me there for a reason. I pray that his will be done.
