  • Phil, Jase, and Al reveal the true stories behind what you saw on "Duck Dynasty." Did the guys grow their beards just for TV? What's the truth behind those clean-shaven beach photos that gossip rags use to claim the Robertsons are fakes? How long did Jase have to sleep on the couch after putting mud on Missy? Does the family really know "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan? And will there ever be new episodes of "Duck Dynasty"? The behind-the-scenes Q&A starts at about 30:50. But first, Jase is pumped that teal season is here, and Phil and Al are baffled by elaborate gender reveals.

Don’t get discouraged Mr. Phil that they didn’t air your gospel speaking, from a viewer at a young age at the time when Duck Dynasty was a thing the prayer at the end of episode spoke volumes for my family, also the type of prayers that were prayed helped me see the light in my own life and how to navigate through the constant storms of being a Christian. God bless y’all!

Mr. Phil without that show you wouldn’t be able to reach as many people as you do now. No matter how much that show tried to stop God and His word...God got His word out to the masses by using that show...bless their hearts, they thought they won, but God did!! Thank you all for this podcast as well, what a blessin this is!

The people of Louisiana are special. I've been in Lake Charles for almost 2 weeks now working as an adjuster and not one day has gone by where someone hasn't fed me or offered to feed me. The devastation is unreal and the fake news is giving it no coverage.

I have only come to know you guys through the UNASHAMED podcast.
I had never watched Duck Dynasty when it first aired.
I have been raising family, and serving God in a very full life, and I
have never had cable TV, still don’t.
A couple years ago my son gave me an I pod for my 68th birthday,
and I was introduced to UA-cam and Facebook for the first time.
Unashamed was the first exposure I had with y’all, through UA-cam❣️💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
I had at least heard about you before, enough to want to check you out.
Praise God, I was totally impressed❣️❤️🥰
It’s only been the last two weeks that I have been pretty sick, I decided to give myself
some laugh RX to help myself, and I tuned into Duck Dynasty, for the first time.
I lived a bit like y’all, in the Ocala National forest, with my husband,
so although I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all in DD, a lot of how you lived was a very familiar
way of life to me. Miss Kay and I had similar early days in our marriage life.
Since 2020, when I got closed out of ministering in jail, I have been ministering on the Appalachian Trail
to thru-hikers, section hikers, day hikers five days a week.
When I watch the pod cast, I feel I know you and we are kindred in our spirits, y’all, because of Jesus, and I love y’all❣️😃
Even though I came on the scene of late, you welcomed me in, right up to date❣️
Love hearing you guys share Christ and your lives. Thank you for being who you are, and doing what you do, especially
    in such a time as this❣️❤️🥰 ✝️

My absolute FAVORITE part of every single show, was the family prayer, and diner at the end. No matter what happened, who pulled what, on who, you could count of them sitting at the table laughing about it, after the prayer. I never had that, and always wanted it. Seeing it on your show, gave me just a small hint of what it was like. I still binge watch episodes now sometimes, and my favorite part is still the prayer, at the diner table, with the whole family.

I've commented this before but I will again. Your show saved my life. I'd lost my health, my income, my home of 25 years, my husband had abandoned me. I couldn't watch anything else. I had cable then, and I watched every series OVER and OVER and OVER again. It's all that I could stand. It comforted me. I didn't know anything about PTSD. But it had me in it's grip. I could barely watch one pastor a week on TV. Most of them, nearly all of them don't teach the Word. But I could watch y'all and get out of my head which was totally squirrelly, and it was like a comforting balm. A light of hope. I thank you so much for that. I think I would have taken my own life. 🙏🙏🙏✝️💓💓💓 GOD BLESS ALL of you!

I went to school for this and other things, worked in the industry and can relate to this and other things that follow. Thank you to Abner Garcia for bringing this up. Then proceeded to decorate every parsec beyond our capacity to see, even with the most powerful instruments of science. Then HE added a universal pulse of energy that spans the whole of creation like unto an artist signature. 👍😉

I loved the show and still watch reruns. My favorite episode is when Si was handcuffed to Willie and had to pee. Jase kept encouraging Si to drink. I laughed so hard!
I was visiting my parents when Phil and Kay renewed their vows. I made sure I had the TV on and watched. My parents wondered why I was watching a show with these bearded guys. But I continued watching and cried. What a witness Phil and Kay have regarding their marriage. Anyway, it moved me. That one episode was all it took. My dad caught the bug and we would talk about the different episodes and when this or that happened. Dad died in 2018 and was a quiet man. Hard to have a relationship with but the show is one thing we could talk and laugh about. You’ll never know the impact you had. You are my brothers in Christ. Much love from Michigan.

@Laureen Mwangi your safe, you got a good heart, you got God,, I'm right with you on being safe, I got fires on 3 sides but I'm safe,, me and you need to pray for the people in the middle of it. As far as the church, praying is perfect but God has it handled,, he is God, he has our backs he don't need us to have his back.. best part of praying for the church is the pride God has in us... Never stop praying,, your in my family's prayers.. just remember everything you own belongs to God, so if it goes away you lost nothing as long as your family's safe. I'm trying to help you feel better, this is coming from a person that has their house burn down with 5yo and 7yo girls,, we made a game of camping with nothing,, I hope the kids forget but life has gone on and now the palace God granted me is bigger and he granted me 14 acres in the center of a town in California,, God gave me that because I couldn't do it on my own,, God let us loose almost everything we had but he blessed us with twice as much. STAY STRONG, PRAY OFTEN IF NOT ALWAYS and remember,, God created everything you know of with his breath.... He has your back even when you think differently. God bless you, stay safe,,, and never stop talking to God

It's probably about time for "Lot" to get the heck out of Sodom and Gomorrah. The Bible says when the wicked are destroyed, the righteous rejoice. It's hard to have sympathy for a state that's responsible for a majority of the evil plaguing, not just the US, but the whole world.

I'm not judging people for drinking I can't do anything about it, I had to do it for myself not anyone else. That the short version. Want to hear more email me at bailieswarts@gmail.com. I'll share my story with anyone that wants to truely get sober. You have to want it to get it. One's to many as not thousand enough. I did a one step program, I give my life to Jesus.
