Thanks I had to run from that golf course after all the work the engines had thousands hours on it n need total rebuild they threw bandaids on there stuff for years ! Blow by in rings kept over heating engine there old mechanic. Said i was full of shit n it just needs a water pump lol wrong, I’m not greatest mechanic but I’m far from dumb !
Yes I enjoy engines n just everything that ticks! I’m fascinated by all the new stuff and old ! N I definitely like putting videos up that may save a visit to a shop for expensive repairs that many can do with but if confidence!
Same job but I removed the pulley side. I have remove the 3 bolts from the coupler but it will not slide down the shaft to make a gap for the belt. I have tried using a pry bar to force with no luck. It won't budge. Any suggestions?
Can you get a ratchet strap in the knuckle hook to front of tractor with tension n hit it with mallet ! You can pull strap out of ratchet n feed it through the actual joint n hook it back up ! Heat gun also or hair dryer on high n pb blaster n make sure splines are clean we’re the shaft has to go or it will stop it from moving
First I’d make sure hour meter worked these didn’t and never got serviced! I’d buy one for couple thousand but not $9300 it have to be in good shape ! What’s that vs new with warranty?
This video was very helpful! I was trying to figure out how I was gonna take it loose from the crank.
