Daniel Stance Yeah BBS Designs beeing riped off a lot but BBS doesnt have so much different Designs. They do all look a like a little. Just like BMW's and Audis. They all look pretty similar.
If there is a German brand with cars that look the same, its Mercedes lol.. But BBS do have a decent selection of designs. But RS, RC, CH and LM is the most popular ones. And replicated quite a bit.
American Racing Torque Thrust. Originally released in the 1950s, with a second version, Torque Thrust D, introduced the the 60s. In 01 when Ford built the Mustang Bullitt, they created a modern style replica. Their design became popular and multiple manufacturers, OE and aftermarket, made their own. Even AR, the originators, make what is basically a knock-off of a knock-off with the Torque Thrust II. Also, they made six spoke variation some years ago for trucks, since many 1/2 tons were transition to six lug hubs.
Volk TE37, BBS LM and BBS RS. Easily the most replicated wheels, ever. I don't think any other ones are close to them lol. There is just so many of them. EDIT: Kinda suprised ESR SR06 and Varrstöen ES6 wasn't used at examples for replicas of Work Meisters lol.
The Enkei RPF1 is a copy - replica of the Racing Hart CP-035, which is the lightest alumium made in any matching size. The CP-035 in 17x7 has a weight of 12 pounds
Over here in Singapore, we had several rim/tire shops bringing in Chinese made replicas of the TE37SL. Then we had hoards of ricers driving around with those replicas in fluorescent orange and green mounted on their cars.
The Varrstoen Es6 & ESR SR06 are by far the best replica of the Work Miester wheel. Of course you can't beat the real thing, but those two come damn close!
A better replica of the WORK Equip 05 would be the ESR SR04. It would be nice if you included a little bit more info of the original wheels. Like what year they came out, etc.
Definitely will be adding onto this series. We were going to go further into wheel origination and specs in our wheel history episode. IE: In our Rays/Volk we discuss the TE37, Work with the Meister, etc. etc.
Hi there I am surprised that there isn't any 8 Spokes. Theres so many versions that I dont even know who made them first. I thought it was Watanabe. Maybe not in US but here in europe there are a lot of similar designs -Smoor (also Intra T-line or "Renault Twingo Smoor") -Compomotive -Revolution and many, many more
Okayy! Also about Wheel History- soon or later You have to do a Hayashi Racing. Especialy Yayoi a.k.a Sakura. If this is the rarest JDM wheel- why theres so many of them around the web? (and an mean the real ones, 14x10J, not Rota replica) I found they making sometimes small amount of re-stock, is it possible? Great series, Cheers!
I have a question, if someone can answer that would be dope. What is the difference between a stepped lip and a reverse or straight lip. That could also be a video suggestion.
Personally, so what if you’re repping replicated wheels? Yeah it may not be the real deal but young guys like me (14) can’t afford TE37s at 16 years old. In my opinion, as long as you like what you do to your car then go for it, cuz at the end of the day it’s your car. Yeah you may get flak for it but we’re all car people and all share the same passion, so I say as long as you like it, go for it 👍🏼
We some Allroads in our gallery! Check them out we provide pics with full specs so you wont have to guess on your fitment! www.fitmentindustries.com/wheel-offset-gallery?order=year&make=Audi&model=Allroad%20Quattro
I bought varrstoen ES2 not knowing they were “rep wheels”. I love the wheels and everyone compliments me on them. Might keep them but I do want te37 for peace of mind lol.
Are the varrsttoen ES1 reliable? Looking into these. I love their design and all but not spending thousands on wheels. I’d there’s any other better ones, please just let me know I’m willing to look.
Volk CE28? Probably not the most copied, but there are definitely a lot of wheels out there that look like that. Those Weds Sport wheels aren't to dissimilar, in fact..
We have TONS of replicated wheels on our website. Just make sure you buy from a trusted dealer, do your research and you should be good to go 👍🏽 www.fitmentindustries.com
Ide enjoy a historic motor sports wheel video, see some old school original designs. Minilite look like watanabes Revolution 4 spoke look like SSR mk2 Not sure witch are the originals?
Rota D2 and MST M107 are more like the SSR SP1 than Work Meisters take note of how the hardware is. Meisters have hardware all the way around the face while SP1s only have them between the spokes
Great video! I just wanted to give you guys a heads up, the footage of the TE37 does not belong to Zulkarnain Shaari. He stole it from another channel called SQUARESPOKES (You can see the URL near the end of the clip). Link to the original video here. ua-cam.com/video/l0pZrkgp-QI/v-deo.html
Who else thought of TE37 the second you read the title. Lmao
I was definitely thinking cr kai haha
Absolutely all day man thinking about them for my stinger
Me, definitely 😂
I was thinking torque thrusts cuz every muscle car now comes with knock-offs
Lol me
te37 is definately the most repd wheel… and every rep looks amazing too because of its timeless design
Volk did an amazing job with the TE37 no doubt.
If it comes from Japan and sells well...it will be replicated.
if China gets their hands on the molds* ;)
And Germany. Just look at BBS lol..
And replicated quite a bit.
was not surprised by no. 1. seeing the title of this video, TE37 came to mind right away.
Definitely agree. - Alex
I don’t understand why would anyone buy rpf1 reps when they’re not expensive and are easy to find used
The world is full of interesting people...
Your Moms Hitachi rpf1 18x8.5 $800 for a set. Replica esr version 18x8.5, $650
I'd pay the extra $150 for stronger wheels
VueDoo08 yeah in silver black gold r a 1000 plus and don't even get me started on sbc
I know a guy that built his Honda with all Offer Up/Craigslist parts, let’s just say he’s not interested in original wheels lol
We don't have original ones here in Lebanon unfortunately.
Also the Rota slip streams being replicas of spoon sw338
-impulse- varrstoen has one too called the MK0
damn you right
Regamaster evo which is made by the same company as spoon
Dylan Tarlton actually, spoon buys regamasters and sells them as sw338. They are produced as one model
Егор Сидоров There both made by Desmond of Russia I thought
Just picked up some real TE37s! Love them already!
American Racing Torque Thrust.

TE37 is like the Holy Grail of all rims
We agree!
I don't get what all the hype is about. They're pretty basic rims.
@@quantumleap4023 wait till you feel it. Super light, super strong. Quality through and through
BBS LM
Mike X yeah its on par with the RS.
That what are on my G35 😑😑😐
Mike X seriously, like 4 companies make them lol
Yep, enkei ekm3 is inspired by the LM
Volk TE37, BBS LM and BBS RS.
Easily the most replicated wheels, ever. I don't think any other ones are close to them lol. There is just so many of them.

Daniel Stance BBS LM reps right here! 😑😑😐
Add Advan RG-II to the list and yeah you're pretty much right.
I love this channel , so unique Can you guys do a history on str wheels and niche wheels
Definitely can put it on the list! Thanks for the support Stevie!
Work Emotion CR-Kai/Kiwami has a bunch of CR-Lies
I’m surprised ESR’s wasn’t on this list lol. But you should do a video on them, and they coming out with 3 piece wheels now also.
The Enkei RPF1 is a copy - replica of the Racing Hart CP-035, which is the lightest alumium made in any matching size. The CP-035 in 17x7 has a weight of 12 pounds

Not a fan of XXRs but I do like that when they made their Work Equip reps, they chose to not put fake bolts on it and went with a smooth/clean look
The Varrstoen Es6 & ESR SR06 are by far the best replica of the Work Miester wheel. Of course you can't beat the real thing, but those two come damn close!
What are the wheels in the background? They look fantastic.
A better replica of the WORK Equip 05 would be the ESR SR04.
It would be nice if you included a little bit more info of the original wheels. Like what year they came out, etc.
Definitely will be adding onto this series. We were going to go further into wheel origination and specs in our wheel history episode. IE: In our Rays/Volk we discuss the TE37, Work with the Meister, etc. etc.
What wheels and tires are in the background pic? I love the small wheel deep offset look
Heres a link to the car along with the specs :D
goo.gl/tTMwmv
What about the SSR SP1's? Not sure who made what first, but they look very similar.
Agreed.
the beat selection for these videos are dope as hell. are you into audio production?
I sure am! My hobbies consist of Cars, Videography, and music :D - Mario
Usually people who shit on rep wheels cant even afford them lmao
In the classic domestic market American Racing Torq Thrust.
my dumbass thought #1 would be watanabes
Hi there
I am surprised that there isn't any 8 Spokes.
Theres so many versions that I dont even know who made them first. I thought it was Watanabe.
Maybe not in US but here in europe there are a lot of similar designs
-Smoor (also Intra T-line or "Renault Twingo Smoor")

We will most likey make a pt 2!

Great series, Cheers!
Vossen CV3 is one to mention as well.
One of your editors seems to have discovered the bevel tool... 😂
I have a question, if someone can answer that would be dope. What is the difference between a stepped lip and a reverse or straight lip. That could also be a video suggestion.
We will definitely cover this in a video! Stay tuned!
Personally, so what if you’re repping replicated wheels? Yeah it may not be the real deal but young guys like me (14) can’t afford TE37s at 16 years old. Yeah you may get flak for it but we’re all car people and all share the same passion, so I say as long as you like it, go for it 👍🏼
You should do a video on the history of Hayashi Racing the og JDM wheel makers
We'll see what we can do!
Any good white rims I can get? My budget for rims and tires are 1,100. Sorry if I sound stupid but I’m just asking if you guys know any for my budget.
Love this channel! 🤘
Alex!! You should do the history of HRE Wheels
We're working on the history now!
YAY!!

Fitment Industries 370z nismo
What are the wheels on the Datsun in the video?
There are probably 20x as many replica Fuchs wheels as there are originals by now.
I think the desmond regamaster is a common replicated wheel
True!
I live in a country that you can buy a decent car for the price of Regas. Lol.
And it seems like the replicas are stronger than the originals. I see so many bent up Regas it's crazy.
Dejected Sasquatch Bent but not cracked. That’s key.
Honda boys all had a set of black slips
Can you shed light on ASA wheels, liscenced by bbs is stamped on their wheels too

Are the varrsttoen ES1 reliable? Looking into these. I love their design and all but not spending thousands on wheels. I’d there’s any other better ones, please just let me know I’m willing to look.

We're already on it!
What about the Rotiform SIX looking like a TE37?
We will probably make a PT.2 to this cause there is soooo many reps out there
I was thinking bbs lm or ccw classics fit number one

We have TONS of replicated wheels on our website. Just make sure you buy from a trusted dealer, do your research and you should be good to go 👍🏽
www.fitmentindustries.com
Fitment Industries thank you, it's scary buying car parts sometimes, so many unreliable sites
First wheel that comes to mind are Watanabes
Watanabe's are knock offs themselves
You know that BBS RIPPED off the wheel design from Jim Hall's 1966 Chaparral 2E
I need a link to pics of that 240z in the background!!!!

Rota D2 and MST M107 are more like the SSR SP1 than Work Meisters take note of how the hardware is. Meisters have hardware all the way around the face while SP1s only have them between the spokes
i also think vossen should be in the list too.
We'll make a PT.2
Can anyone tell me how much an RPF1 5x114.4 bolt pattern would usually cost? New?
All depends on size of wheel
Fitment Industries 17in?
make a video on some nice deep rims for good price
Great video! I just wanted to give you guys a heads up, the footage of the TE37 does not belong to Zulkarnain Shaari. He stole it from another channel called SQUARESPOKES (You can see the URL near the end of the clip). Link to the original video here. ua-cam.com/video/l0pZrkgp-QI/v-deo.html
