I've always liked the TE 37s and considered them for the upgrade of my OEM wheels on my 370Z sport coupe; however, I went with a set 9f Litespeed forged magnesium monoblocks that are weighing in at about 14 lbs for 19" wheels.
I started with the 19 Te37 OG Then traded for Te37 Saga Sold those and got some OG06 TE37’s Sold those and just bought some brand new Te37 SL once I got these wheels it feels really weird to try and buy another brand. Lol I’ve owned some Regamasters and liked those a lot. But something about Volk TE37’s that just look so good.
Rotational weight savings is good, but a center cap is essentially zero rotational weight because it’s on the center axis. It’s a tiny bit of unsprung weight, but it’s essentially zero ROTATIONAL weight.
Not running center caps to save weight made me chuckle. 2oz at the very center of the wheel has no affect on the car, the suspension, or what the driver feels compared to the wheel/tire weight as a whole (40+ lbs) (unless the driver is hyper-sensitive). A no-2oz center cap is that "gram" strategy approach, but not necessary on a street car....
I read the second reason is that it’s a “risk” because the caps can fly off at the track. I doubt a small plastic piece like that would be much of a risk but I think that makes more sense why they ditch them lol
You might be a decent driver that may be so but it appears you are not an amazing driver as you cannot feel the difference between 8 oz of weight un sprung on your car Just to let you know these were not invented for you to throw on your civic although that's what most all of you do
I regret not getting these TE37’s instead of buying the 57CR wheels. Especially since money wasn’t a determining factor at the moment. Don’t get me wrong the 57CR’s look cool but not as good as the TE37’s in my honest opinion.

The te37saga is stronger and has more machining to aid in weight reduction! Although it is still heavier than the sl it is still a very lightweight, high end racing wheel!
Could be as long as 3-6 months or as short as a day or two. I got my rays CE28SL same day cause a local vendor had them in stock in my specs and bolt pattern.

The forged 1-piece design is probably one of the strongest methods of wheel construction. Cheap cast wheels are the ones that are prone to cracking, bending, chipping, or flat out shattering.
My plan is as follows, lmk what you think: 1990 JDM 300ZX TT manual with 13-piece twinz widebody kit Volk Te37 time attack 18x10.5 +22 square setup with Toyo T1 Proxes 275-35-18 I think it'll look pretty sick.
I WISH THEY HAD A LINE BY THE MODEL EQUALS THE AMOUNT OF SPOKES LIKE FOR EXAMPLE T.E. 35 = 5 SPOKES T.E. 36 = 6 SPOKES AND THESE WOULD EQUAL T.E. 37 = 7 SPOKES

The Advans are slightly lighter and less expensive. The LMGT4 are going to be heavier but slightly stronger!
