This version is just so amazing to me how that he can keep the beat going. I can hear the studio version in my head but when I hear Thom do this version of it, I’m just blown away. Can the band just do an all acoustic album please!
in the right place...it like my apartment, my clothes, my bills, my life, my job...food in my frig...really simple thought here...its just very cool hip tune. these are f-en the coolest
agree that prague concert was incredible ... I was in the second line just infront of the stage and my god they were just .... like from a different planet that is much more evolved
I think what he lacks in technical ability, he more than makes up for it with emotive playing, and a great sense of rhythm and dynamics. Check out his solo piano version of "Down is the New Up"
@grietusha WOW...I saw them for for first time at lollapalooza in 2008 at chicago but i dl that prague conert and it's just fucking amazing...... must have been one hell of experience as is any radiohead live show!!
This is the coolest performance. I have never been to a concert but the only bands I would definitely go through the aggravation to see live is Radiohead and Tool. Just watching videos of their shows, you see these are Real musicians and artists.
more than 100 critics, artists, insiders chose Radiohead's Kid A to be the top album of the decade (listed in Rollingstone Magazine) everything really is in its right place
i was to exhausted to cry after sleepin on a coach and then spending 6 hrs previous tryin to stay on me feet what with the enthusiastic pushin and a shovin, It was awesom though, FUCKIN AWESOME!!!
@Shadow9392 it is beautiful, dunno about better though. normally this live with the whole band is amazing. find the Reading 2009 version on here if you can, that's awesome
I wish the rest of the band members were with Thom and Jonny during this set. I think it would be especially cool if Ed and Phil did the echo/loops with their own voices.
actually, no they didn't. Their former record label, capitol, did. It wouldn't be like them to re release material that has been already covered, that's why they play it live.
You don't need to analyse everything. It's art, art can be very abstract, or do you forget that? It's more or less the mood their songs create, in mixture with those strange lyrics that is so uplifting and endorses THINKING. The point is: you're free to interpret anything anyway you like. Most bands suck at that, and tell you straightout what the song is all about.
That's the most ridiculous thing anyone has ever said Rhimeson. In the presence of the new wave of spectacularly uninspiring music that's out today, no band that has the power to write numerous deeply moving songs like radiohead, can be stated as overrated. Also most consider Radiohead a novelty band at most, and that's sad at best.
@evilpigeions fine... okay... but don't you think you could consider it as a mistake if it was a cover? I guess he can change his own song as much as he wants. Otherwise boredom would kill him during one of the gigs :) Have nice day today all of you ^_^
@gurufuttlappele 2 TRUE...I hate watching it live when everybody's clapping like it's a damn Bee Gees concert....it's like they don't appreciate the music the way we do or they don't understand it
Because they know how to let someone perform. If you sing along, clap to the rhythm and dance around, the band itself is just going to be less in the focus of attention. It's not your show, it's theirs. So let them perform and watch and listen and don't perform yourself.
have to say i now renounce that comment as the band has grown on me hugely over the past month..still think there albums are inconsistent with a mixture of average and immense songs...guess its the hardcore fans who are responsible for my -6 monstrosity, not kew
Amazing how they turned an almost entirely electronic driven song into this beautiful unplugged version. They truly rock.
i think its at the inverse, he do it first on the piano and then to the computer
Inverse. Thom Yorke composes at the piano, and transcribes it to modular synths
I've always had a fantasy about Radiohead playing all their songs on acoustic and organic instruments.
Lp10 recorded in a church with an organ like interstellar confirmed
Organic instruments lmfao
I imagine a banana with strings or something like that
What? Really?@@nicolaslabra2225
This version is just so amazing to me how that he can keep the beat going. I can hear the studio version in my head but when I hear Thom do this version of it, I’m just blown away. Can the band just do an all acoustic album please!
moon shaped pool?
really good.Paul Mccartney even has this as one of his favourites on spotify
Gerard Lord wow really? Where do you hear that? I'm curious
@@intifadayuri Look it up on google, apparently Paul McCartney wanted to collaborate with Thom Yorke but he turned him down.
@@Fortunaatp Trouble is, John Lennon's a bit harder to contribute with.
@@jgagnier Hol up
@@jgagnier This song even tops The Beatles "A Day in the LIfe"
my fav version of this song, one of my fav songs... Thom just nailed it!
it´s just so amazing this version, it kind of creates the same feeling as the studio version, which I love, but it amplifies to a whole new level
I saw them four days ago in Prague. They were just wonderfull and I was crying as a little child. And I still can´t believe that I have seen them.
The best live version of any Radiohead song.
Reminded me of Keith Jarrett. 3 mins and 33 seconds to get you into a completely different universe. Damn! These guys are soooo good.
Every single voice in it's right place...
Amazing...just amazing, my favorite song in the life.
acoustic versions of songs from kid a?
amazing!
this is the best oxymoron ever!
how can they not be dancing? this song has so much emotion in it.
This version of the song sounds good. The piano is in tune. Radiohead really kick it up a notch for their live shows.
couldnt live without them
I love that strong piano at the strat
I love this so much
they strip it bare.... the music... and its just beautiful... no clutter
I taught myself this on the piano, it’s wicked
Same. Only song I know on piano. I HAD to learn it. haha
in the right place...it like my apartment, my clothes, my bills, my life, my job...food in my frig...really simple thought here...its just very cool hip tune. these are f-en the coolest
agree that prague concert was incredible ... I was in the second line just infront of the stage and my god they were just .... like from a different planet that is much more evolved
I would kill for be in that right place. Fucking outstanding.
Phenomenal
Thom is completely on another level.
god i am seeing them at leeds next week, i think i might cry!
I think what he lacks in technical ability, he more than makes up for it with emotive playing, and a great sense of rhythm and dynamics. Check out his solo piano version of "Down is the New Up"
This song fits very well to Fight club, should have been in the soundtrack
i love the vocal line he starts singing at 2:54. sweet!
2:54
Painfully awesome
thom yorke con poco instrumento hace muy buena musica... sin radiohead mi vida seria muy triste
I want that piano! And maybe Thom too...
must say freaken amazing!!!
RADIOHEAD IN ARGENTINA!
Finally in South America!!!
March 24 in Buenos Aires....
I will....be there there...
@grietusha WOW...I saw them for for first time at lollapalooza in 2008 at chicago but i dl that prague conert and it's just fucking amazing...... must have been one hell of experience as is any radiohead live show!!
Yeah, these are good ones.
My faves are still "paranoid android" and "There there".
@DEFGI I prefer the grand piano to whatever they were using on the album, that's what did it for me.
This is the coolest performance. I have never been to a concert but the only bands I would definitely go through the aggravation to see live is Radiohead and Tool. Just watching videos of their shows, you see these are Real musicians and artists.
DAMN he can keep that beat
fabiocchi has the best radiohead videos! :D
Beautiful 😻
amazing song! one love
more than 100 critics, artists, insiders chose Radiohead's Kid A to be the top album of the decade (listed in Rollingstone Magazine)
everything really is in its right place
amazing version!!
and I'm right hear, everything is in it's right place
proper musicians
Legendary performance, shame the video cuts off early
Here's the whole gig: ua-cam.com/video/PGqxMVO9X0s/v-deo.html
REMINDES ME OF SIM CITY as a kid i would play and the intro would have this big heavy industrial piano at the start :D
@grietusha Agreed I saw them in 2008 and still can not get over their concert =)
Thom is such a God, you know...
i was to exhausted to cry after sleepin on a coach and then spending 6 hrs previous tryin to stay on me feet what with the enthusiastic pushin and a shovin, It was awesom though, FUCKIN AWESOME!!!
1:16 to the end is my favorite
Heartbeat
Thanks pal!!!
@Shadow9392 it is beautiful, dunno about better though. normally this live with the whole band is amazing. find the Reading 2009 version on here if you can, that's awesome
Thank you for the kind compliment.
Enjoy radiohead ;)
and in Vanilla Sky (which a remake of a great Spanish called Abre los ojos)
More beautiful than the album version.
@AnotherWasteOfSpace So they should be, they're witnessing the best band in the world
I wish the rest of the band members were with Thom and Jonny during this set. I think it would be especially cool if Ed and Phil did the echo/loops with their own voices.
Six of one, half a dozen of the other.
@jahmbo The piano is in tune! just NOT concert pitch tuning!
holy fuck i love this
Eargasmic.
Punishment for disliking this video should be death.
he is a fuckin genius!!
@gurufuttlappele I kinda think it is. Live anyway it has a driving 10/4 beat.
dude ok, his bracelets are so badass. where do you get ones like those? oh and freaking sweet song, uh, yeah sweet song. haha
@Mr84Next - Damn Right the 'Time is Now!'
Radiohead ❤️ Thom Yorke ❤️ Anyone in 2018?
actually, no they didn't. Their former record label, capitol, did.
It wouldn't be like them to re release material that has been already covered, that's why they play it live.
@brucebu hahaha that is the greatest expression

so far this is disco. cause of the beat
@MrDiego881 Would those be red for his pants most of the time and whatever color his hair is at the moment?
Is there and audio file of this I can get somewhere? Or any of the songs of this show, I love them all
Adredo. I care deeply and I'd buy your cd.
you will.
Uht-oh eight times over.
This is the most powerful band after Pink Floyd!!!
@gurufuttlappele They stop clapping after like 10 seconds!!!
does he play also the beat?? it seems so, because he's moving the leg at the time
That's the most ridiculous thing anyone has ever said Rhimeson. it's ultra syncopated is what it is!
Someone have the complete live/link?
the song sounds harder on the grand instead of digital piano. a really expressive version
@evilpigeions fine... okay... but don't you think you could consider it as a mistake if it was a cover? I guess he can change his own song as much as he wants. Otherwise boredom would kill him during one of the gigs :) Have nice day today all of you ^_^
if i was there i would be in the front and crying
....... you're amazing for saying that ahhahaha. Cthulhus are amazing
@la2ysod People just often do that to keep timing
I am obsessed with this song, this live is incredible ! I did a cover actually I would love to get your feedback !
everythiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing
Anyone has sheets for this? Maybe some midi/synesthesia tutorial?
WOW! just amazing, thom yorke is not from this planet.
So far this is disco
A LEMON!
5/4 genius.
@gurufuttlappele 2 TRUE...I hate watching it live when everybody's clapping like it's a damn Bee Gees concert....it's like they don't appreciate the music the way we do or they don't understand it
Why does it seems like Thom York’s just came out of Creep’s music video to play these.
This is awesome!!!
Why do these ppl seem like zombies??????
