In his defense, all the tricolor flags need to differentiate themselves more if they don't want people to get confused. Nobody ever mixes up Japan's flag, or my country's flag.
All the flags are random combinations of the same red white and blue stripes and it's super confusing😂

I love how ads from channels like GG, ice cream sandwich , distractible's skits etc. prove that people *are* willing to watch advertisements and even enjoy them, its just that most advertisers/sponsors want these people to read scripts and have absolutely 0 sense of humor or imagination

i think people forget that the grumps most of the time aren't here to take things seriously based on some of the comments haha but i agree, i much prefer then taking it easy and making jokes over actually beating people on this game. I'm also patting myself on the back for 1) recognizing the flag of Malaysia, 2) knowing they were in Thailand based on the Buddha sign's writing & architecture and 3) knowing what Greenland looked like
Same here! And around 10:30 going "Wait, this... feels like Switzerland... The plateau, maybe?" when it was indeed in Fribourg. (I'm Swiss, but in the Alps so there was a feeling of familiarity, but slightly off)
Yeah, always fun when you just immediately recognise things. The flags, the language. The one near Bremerhaven I saw and just immediately went "This must be northwest Germany, pretty close to the Dutch border. The one with the vines? I was thinking somewhere on the French side of the Franco-German border, but the "Frei" made me guess Luxembourg. Shouting at my screen at times, but always in good fun. Stuff like this is a great way to get to know the rest of the world. Where they speak what languages, on which side of the road they drive, general vibes etc.
same, I actually managed to nail Netherlands as well, Thailand, Tunisia (based on the fact there was French writing too), Greenland and Brazil (closer than they did, I would have gone for the Minas Gerais region). But they got me on the Antarctica one, I would have guessed the Andes or the Himalayan mountains...
The stave church tipped it off as Greenland for me

Actually not a terrible deducting move to make. The south has seasons as well of course, but the closer you get to the equator the more "seasons" just boil down to hot, and hot and wet. Then there's the fact that there's quite a lot more land in the northern hemisphere that "has seasons" than there is in the southern one, at least somewhat densely inhabited land.
