Here's a "language hack" to tell Portuguese and Spanish apart: if you see a tilde (~) over an "n" (ñ) it's Spanish, but if it's over an "a" (ã) or an "o" (õ) it's Portuguese.
Also Portuguese has the “ç” whereas Spanish doesn’t

Episodes like this remind me how much thought Dan puts into game grumps. He explains the intricate factions of the fanbase, reminds the editors to put in the chill music, he comes in proposing a 2-minute time limit so Arin doesn't stroll down dirt paths all episode... professionalism
This isn’t intended negatively at all, I just think it’s really interesting how far things have come; it’s absolutely wild seeing this observation about “professionalism” now when GG originated specifically as two buddies on a couch yelling at a TV. It was very intentionally not what it is today.
Reminds me of Wheel of Fortune where Dan had to force arin to not spend a whole minute trying to solve the puzzle every turn

I often get the feeling these guys don't respect us much. Like Dan's comment kind of ribbing on how the fans talk about moments in their videos "IN YOUR POKEMON PLAYTHROUGH..." and it makes me a bit sad. I'll keep watching because I find it entertaining but it sure does sting a bit when they kind of throw this shit in our face.

y'all know that if you unselect "default settings," you can turn on a time limit, right? And if y'all have a second computer, you can play multiplayer, which gives you both the same map, so one person doesn't get hosed with 3 wheat fields in europe, while the other guy gets 5 city center signs. I play with a group of friends semi-regularly

@@krazy4pizza154 The trees losing their leaves is a form of hibernation, they're literally going into a stasis to conserve energy and nutrients until it becomes more readily available in the spring. I would hope that would be more easily believable rather than thinking trees die and resurrect like Jesus. Though I suppose if you want to believe Treesus is your lord and savior, you're free to do so.
Just a note for the Grumps, the easiest way I know of to tell the difference written Spanish and written Portuguese is that if there is any letter *other* than N that has a tilde (~) it's Portuguese.

They tried to open here back in the 80s, but had to change their name due to a trademark dispute with an existing restaurant called Taco Bell's Casa (very similar to the Burger King/Hungry Jacks dispute). They didn't last long. In the late 90s, they opened a bunch of restaurants here in Sydney, usually attached to a KFC (same parent company). They all closed down by the mid 2000s. Hell they've done episodes where they don't even play a video game, like the riddles ones, and I fucking adore those. I am here to listen to two friends having a good time, everything else is secondary to that. It's why I don't get upset when Arin is bad at games, either.

I like it when the grumps do games like this. No complex things to accidentally be forgotten about in the heat of the moment, no weird bugs to make Arin angry, just two guys chilling out and having an overall good time. With the Backstreet Boys still being back, it's just a nice time.
