I'm dead at the idea of them laughing about a capital named "Knife" when it's literally "Yellowknife". Bless these grumps
Yeah. Wish I was there when they found out.
For anyone curious, Nunavuts Capital is Iqaluit and the Yukons capital is Whitehorse.
Man that got me. I was born in Yellowknife 😂
I was cackling 😂😂.
"Named after knives made with yellow copper" WHAT COULD IT BE?!!! Honestly though, as a Canadian, I can understand them not being able to guess it. If it sounds too silly/simple to be true, then it's usually the right answer.
i went directly to the comments when they said that
Can we just acknowledge Dan buzzed in 33 times and got 32 correct?
97% accuracy!
That's impressive. Thanks for that stat.
It is multiple choice
@@skipventure5158 the odds of guessing every answer and getting them all right on just a 20-question multiple choice test is 1 in 1.1 trillion. Dan knows his stuff, mate
13:40 “Dude, did you forget the Alamo??”
“I did forget the Alamo…”
*sigh* “Jesus…”
I DIED-
not even there yet and i already hear it with their voices
Fun fact the battle at the alamo and that whole war in general was fought because mexico didn’t want to have slaves, which texas did. So the americans who died at the alamo died defending slavery…
@@gryffonsi it's just a *scoche* more complicated that.
Get better soon
@gryffonsi lol not quite no
Best GG times are the ones that feel like a couple of good friends hanging out. Catching yourselves off guard eating food always sets the scene
Edit: Nevermind Arin is threatening to kill Dan
That's just what good friends do
Exactly
Again
Again, 2 good friends
That adds to the friend vibe
My favorite thing about the grumps playing jeopardy so much that they start repeating the same questions, is that their memories are so bad that there's no chance of it making any difference
Omg thank you. I thought I was going crazy with deja vu
At least this is multiple choice! I thought you'd have to type something in and have infinite answers. At least you have a chance with this version. I didn't know what a Waldorf hotel was for example XD
I've actually never seen them play Jeopardy so this is a first for me!😁❤
So, this isn't a re-upload of an older video? I swear I've seen this one before... 🤯
@@WavingWorldThey have already played these questions before
You know Dan will finally be accepted into game grumps when Arin let's him have a profile on at least one console
Until then he'll only ever be not *so* grump.
He's the best guest grump
After over a decade, Arin still isn't quite sure about him
@@kittenbouquet Still trying to get Finn Wolfhard instead.
Arin is a scathing indictment of the Floridian public school system.
To be fair, he dropped out ...but that might also support your point 😂
Arin will slander the Florida public school system as much, if not more, than anyone, but have you considered that he's a dumb little boy all on his own? ❤
He's also someone who doesn't understand "how was I supposed to know that" is not a valid question during a game of trivia.
@@norawinhe didn't drop out, he got his degree early and left by choice 💀
@@idrkginaf4204 his mom pulled him out and he got a GED
Don’t ever stop playing gameshows
I want a separate channel that's called gameshow grumps that's all gameshows lol
lol that would be funny
don’t ever stop gooning
Or making rude cartoons!
or kissin peoples dads
Whats the capital of the northwest territories? Arin: Knife, the actual name: Yellowknife.
Yeah that was painful
Is Dan ever gonna get his own profiles on these games 😂
They tried once with wheel
Didn't work right I think
Corsica was the island Napoleon was born on, and him becoming French because the island was bought played a role in his inferiority complex during his upbringing, being made fun of for his accent.
little fun fact for y'all.
It's also the origin of a couple of Cheech and Chong's better characters.
That thing with Corsica and the livers was sooo effin funny.
It was also the island be was deserted on when France basically told him to fuck off. 😂😂
No, that was Elba and then Saint Helena @@AJEDDY97
@@CrisSelene I could've sworn it was Corsica, but yeah, you're right. My bad. 😂😂
After rewatching the old Jeopardy vids with Arin voicing over the questions, it feels so quiet now
They need to bring back monokuma.
@@voltaicangeloWe got one more game and then we'll hear him for over a year!
@upg5147 Have they actually confirmed that they'll be tackling V3 next year?
@@MoonlitLycan yep, they havent given a date but they said they will be playing it
I've actually never seen them play Jeopardy so this is a first for me!😁❤
22:36 Fun Fact: The Capital city of Northwest Territories is named "YellowKnife"
Arin: I'm actually pretty familiar with sevens, so-
>Sloth & Wrath
Arin: Shit...
Me: I guess that makes Arin's deadly sin pride. 😏
The anime, I really like the version where GrimmJack VA's the MC.
His deadly sin is literally his butthole.
That man is Gluttony personified
@@kattastic9999"MOAR!!!"
If you’ve ever watched game grumps you know for certain that Arin’s greatest sin is pride 😂
>Literally Latin words
"It sounds like some British shit"
Damn those pesky Londonians.
Hey, yet another episode in the series of "Trivia games where Dan, despite repeatedly having called himself an idiot, basically knows everything there is to know about everything while Arin makes terrible guesses and gets two or three questions right" lmao
But Dan missed the most jew question ever, What's in rye bread?
I have never screamed "CAKE KNIFE" and "BUFFALO BILL" so loud before.
I mean, have you ever screamed those terms at _all_ before...?
Good to see Denny just ravage Arnold’s ass. Just savage. Love these guys
Crazy how the Ginsu Knife was also an answer on Jeopardy the same day this episode was uploaded!
They even talked about the same “cut through a can, then a tomato test”!
12:23 if anyone happens to see this, this is at least the second time in a trivia game where “the seeds in rye bread” came up and they didn’t remember that caraway seeds flavor rye bread - no hate, I get it, I just want our boys to have the joys of knowing what goes into delicious rye bread😭
Love that they never remember to wait for the "buzz" to pop up before trying to answer lol
I had this episode on in the background as I was cleaning, and I gotta say, hearing Dan say my name was very jarring.
Girl, SAME! My name is Patricia and every time they said it, I was shook. 🤣🤣
Dude...that Crispus Attucks name is something I'll never forget.
I had a real obnoxious know it all professor in college, who bragged about making his class tough, but also mentioned that he graded on a curve.
We started with a class of 30 people, and by the end we had 8. Along the way, I studied super hard and got mostly B's, C's, D's and F's on all my quizes and tests. Our numbnuts professor would deduct points for mundane crap like when I said that 'Aaron Burr shot and killed Alexander Hamilton', he marked it partially wrong because I should have written 'mortally wounded' instead of 'killed'.
Anyways, we would get these quizzes and tests that would have essay sections, and despite taking GOOD notes in class and studying our text book, we'd get stupid nonsense. As an example we had 'Who was Crispus Attucks and how did he play a role in the American Revolution?' Well, from the video, you know he was the first person killed in the Boston Massacre. But did our professor mention that in class? No. Did the textbook mention that? No. But it did denote him as a person in a drawing of the event, but NOTHING ELSE. I remember after the test was over, I immediately opened the textbook to look this fucker up, and immediately went to the professor to cry foul. He just chuckled and said it's important for us to did deeper into the topics we discuss, which is absolutely absurd.
Now remember how I said there were 8 people left in the class and that he graded on a curve? Well, I was able to determine through conversations that I had the highest grade in the class, and I only had a C+. I again cornered him on this and he stumbled his way through how he taught multiple classes and that he considered the curve to be all of his students. I damn near tackled this guy and straight up called him out on it, but unfortunately not much else I could do.
It’s agonizing just READING this lol, I’m so sorry you had to deal with that nightmare…
Grading on a curve definitionally means almost everyone passes the class regardless of performance. It's literally as far from tough as possible.
I love how Dan does the math to make sure Arin cant wint 😂
I liked it when Arin read the questions, I'm visually impaired, but like playing along lol
I had the ultimate game grumps experience. I ate Wendys and took a ten minute power nap and had a dream two guys were killing me in a hotel room. Woke up at the 14 minute mark like, wtf. Then restarted the video and went back to sleep.
a ten minute power nap 😅
Please let Dan play on Arin's account from now on. Arin deserves to be Player 2. And at least this way y'all will actually unlock categories before the heat death of the universe.
Ya, he can hide his 10th-grade Florida education on Wheel of Fortune, but not here.
"Dude, did you forget the Alamo?" 😂
Dans infinite knowledge and lightening speed reflexes are starting to make me think hes a demigod at trivia games.
I miss the post-recording Arin reading out all the questions.
29:17 Dan does the math wrong. If he had got the answer incorrect, Patricia would have won. But, he's smart enough to guess the answer right anyway
Also, Arin's brain completely shutting down at the end of the episode was very relatable
Everytime Patricia buzzed in all I could hear in my head was that person from that one vine screaming “PATRICIA!!”
YAAASS~ same XD
"She is an icon and she is THE MOMENT"
I was actually driking water so I choked.
Arin: Well what's the name of the Capital? **Jokingly*** Knife... haha
it's Yellowknife actually... which sounds even more like the joke he was going for.
From 9:04: Saint Francis of Tulsa exists--it's a hospital! Arin either knows his T-Town trivia, or he's psychic. Also, it's built of pink Italian marble, and the previous question was about a pink hotel... THIS MEANS SOMETHING (breaks out cork board and yarn)
just found out I got tickets to the backstreet boys reunion tour, game grumps comin in clutch while I lay on the couch
I'm sorry, I hope you get better soon.
You mean you got tickets to the Backstreet Boys reunion tour?
i'm such a bad fan!!! 😆@@mikehab7453
Thank you!@@riversong4997

Dan continues to amaze me how he can literally answer, every sports question correctly (or almost correctly) 😂
I really love these jeopardy eps 🍿 Here I thought we’d forget 2012 when the Orlando blooms took back middle earth. The NBA was really *giving* that year 🧡☺️
I liked it when you read the questions aloud so I don't have to pause the video and read it if I want to play along.
always love it when the grumps play these classic games.
Another episode to goon to
bro why ya beatin' ya dick to game grumps? 🤣🤣🤣
Arin and Dan joking about the capital of the Northwest Territories being called "Knife"
Me, being from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories: 😠
Arin please show off your factory in factorio for an episode
Id legit watch that
Or a short.
FACTORIO
Don't make this a trend.. he already set the clear boundary that he absolutely isn't going to do it, don't be a toxic douche and continuously ask about it..

Dear grampa frump's , these videos of you playing jeopardy are the light in my darknss. I truly hope you never stop playing it! It serves as a beacon of light. It is the comfort to my neighbor. A good in all he bad. thank youyyy!!!!!
the 7 wonders of the ancient world are different, mainly because most if not all (don't remember if the pyramids count) don't exist anymore, like both mentioned in the question. The colossus of Rhodes and the gardens of Babilon are other two in the list.
The great pyramid of giza is part of it
The ruins of the city of babylon still exist its in iraq
The capital you were looking for the Northwest Territories is Yellowknife.
The capital named for yellow knives is Yellowknife, lmao
22:04
"It slices! It dices! Look at that tomato!
You could even cut a tin can with it!
...But you wouldn't WANT TO!"
"Bro, I don't know anything about anything" is so real
They really need to play the golf/horror game, Greener Grass Awaits. It would be two of my favorite things, watching them play golf, and Dan becoming scared and uncomfortable 😂
Well that’s a genre mix I never expected to exist 🤔
@@witchymama5385 yeah it's a pretty interesting game where you have to keep your eyes on the enemy while also trying to play golf lol. Jacksepticeye played it awhile back and I immediately thought, this is perfect for Arin and Dan.
You weren't far off with "knife," for the territory's Capital.
The actual name is, I shit you not, "Yellowknife."
All the Canadians loosing it at "ah my favourite city, knife"
I laughed way too much when Arin said he was gonna order Postmates to deliver a whooping
20:41 Dan instantly knew Arin was gonna make a joke :D
Gotta love them opening up with food in their mouths.
Man I love these Jeopardy episodes! It's just me yelling at the screen while my dog looks on like I'm the one who's crazy!!!
22:40 the best part... is that it is. it's Yellowknife.
I'm always in awe of Dan's encyclopedic sports knowledge since I have no idea what sports even are
living in Oshkosh while Arin and Dan read that question aloud was a bizarre experience lol
22:35 The capital of NWT is Yellowknife, for anyone asking the same question as Arin.
7:50 Oh sweet! A Vegas question! I have lived in Las Vegas my whole life so that was easy for me lol
Them making a joke about there being a place in canada just called "knife" without realizing there is actually a place here called Yellowknife is funnier than it should be lmao
19:16 Fun fact for those who may not be familiar with it but Holst’s “Planets” Suite (specifically “Mars”) is credited with inspiring the main tritonal riff from the Black Sabbath song “Black Sabbath”
It takes like a minute to make a profile for dan. It's nuts that they just don't do it instead of wasting all the xp in every game they play.
"Who else lost an election in 2016?" lots of people, Dan. Basically everyone who ran who did not win, lost.
I forgot that a cleaver was a thing and also from a word that means to split and sat here the whole time wondering wtf a "rending knife" was and why I had never heard of it
Uh dude, did you forget the Alamo? That killed me 😂
Umm Arin saying these sound like fake names then proceeds to say my name😅
Did he say Ste Vennash? I must have missed it.
Ngl I thought I heard Steve nash but I could be wrong
As a canadian im dying at them saying the capitol knife when its legit called yellowknife 😂
I never really understood why they would read out all the questions until trying to listen to this episode in the background. I miss that.
Never really cared for it until it was gone 😔👌
I love the fish in cash reference in the thumbnail
I think it’s so funny the running joke that Dan can never play his own profile and is always player 2 XD
I'm currently waiting in a hospital with an abdominal pain. Thanks for being there guys !
22:40 - Funnily enough, the capital of the Northwest Territories IS literally just "Yellowknife".
Arin: I don't know!! I don't know anything!!
We know, Arin. We are all well aware.
I really appreciated in older jeopardy episodes how the questions would be read aloud in post. It made it a lot easier to follow along.
At least this is multiple choice! I thought you'd have to type something in and have infinite answers. At least you have a chance with this version. I didn't know what a Waldorf hotel was for example XD
Yeah but it does betray the spirit of the show it's adapting. You'd be better off with the WWTBAM game for multiple choice. It's absolutely bizarre with the voice acting but it feels like the show.
My great x10 or so grandfather was incorrectly guessed in the second to last question on a game grumps jeopardy video. I have truly made it
The capital of the Northwest Territories is in fact called Yellowknife
Much love to the crew putting these out over the holidays
What is: boxing day gooning, Alex?
I love that Arin’s threat escalation scale goes from murder to forced enema 😂
Had to come back to comment this immediately: tonight’s jeopardy episode just had a question where the answer was ginsu knife in which the question stated the slogan Dan recited, wtf is this timing!!
Arin is so full of beans in this ep skfjskfs good to see him having fun
I remember when you had to KNOW stuff to play Jeopardy, not just guess a 1 in 3 multiple choice.
Heck, that makes it easier than Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? because they only give you a 1 in *4* Multiple choice.
I started crying laughing when Arin guessed NWT's capital must just be called Knife.
Checked out the Danika and sonic pic on the bus and couldn’t stop laughing out loud
It's disturbing how neither Arin nor Dan could identify the timeframe of the Vietnam War
"Vacuuming every week? Thats madness!"
*looks at my mexican in-laws vacuuming every day*
Ooh, fresh game grumps just in time for lunch break
13:39 Welp. Dan forgot the Alamo. Looks like he has to renew his American Citizenship.
Seriously think the gameshow episodes are the BEST ones! 😂
22:39 the capital of the Northwest Territories is called Yellowknife lol
3:30 I know nothing about sports, so the pun thing actually helps a lot!
Dan pulling the classic Jeopardy move of being the only contestant to know anything about sports warms my heart.
Being a Tulsa resident The St.Francis Tulsa comment really caught me of guard ngl
the capital of the northwest territories is yellowknife
6:05 *Arin reading the most Roman sounding thing*: "It does sound like some British sh*t"
The fact that Ginsu was an answer on actual Jeopardy the same day this video came out is a crazy coincidence
"Did you just do the math?"
"Thats so rude"
Its crazy hearing your name being yelled by your favorite gamers 😂❤
