I really loved him in Tesseract. Shame it didn’t work out. His voice fit their music so well. Altered State was the 1st album I listened to of theirs and I fell in love w/ it. Amazing album!

I stumbled on Tesseract- Of matter 14m+ song in studio = wow... Had to dig up his name when i tried moving out to other songs/albums and realized lead vocals had changed, sadly, very sadly. Not to take away from Dan at all. Does wonder. Just realllllly like this shit here man. Just works for me.

Why did he leave tesseract?
They brought Daniel Tompkins back into the lineup.
Vernet DeHaven so that’s why Ashe here left Tesseract? Because in Wikipedia it says Ashe left tesseract, and also tesseract wanted a vocalist who can sing more clean rather than screaming and growls, after Ashe left it was hard for them to find a vocalist with similar style.

-> Ashe wanted to stick with his own project and band, where he was probably more of the focus than in Tesseract.
-> Daniel Tompkins was willing to come back.
