Djazz is my new favorite genre
Djazz? Silly you, this is just another more modern/skillful incarnation of prog metal. 😅
imagine what they'd sound like with if their guitars were plugged in!!
You don't know the difference between music recording and music video
Where tf do you want to find an electrical outlet in an abandoned depot in the middle of nowhere
@@scoopjazzjazzbass7708 you don't know the difference between sarcasm/irony and seriousness
@@scoopjazzjazzbass7708 looks like you need to go back to clown school if you can't identify an obvious joke
As a bassist I'm so thankful for how important of a role the bassist had in this song. He really held tempo and tune with everyone and shredded along with everyone else. much love.
Oh shit! Now youtube reccomendation, you did a great job this time
@@brunoborba008 For me it usually recommends shit I already watched and other videos by channels I watched recently, but this is a welcome change. I love this but I didn't know this band.
I had to listen 3 separate times.
First for the guitar.
Second for the bass.
Finally for the drums.
Fuckin sick.
Thats what separates these guys from us, they hear it all in their heads :P
Really impressive, Polyphia+Tesseract vibe with a one take music video!
Dj0nt from Brazil.
this band love mix a lot of vibes of different bands in each of their music
That discription is definitely on point they are groovy like get up n dance ish with the dark depth mystery sound invoked as well
SUPER SICK. This is clean af.
Ya the guitar tone is clean af in the beginning, then it gets distorted 😁
@@MultiPerplexity how so? Deep pockets, heavy grooves, cool riffs. Is it too tightly arranged?
But, the guitar in the video is from a company called slick 😁
That octave vibration from the bass and vocals was awesome
@Prithiv Natarajan the bass's notes being played are so low that you can feel it as a vibration, and hearing and feeling that in combination with the vocals sounds extremely satisfying.
@@auggyisspace Thanks for explaining that. This is one of the highlights of this band's sound for me.
I DID NOT EXPECT MANUEL TO GO SO HARD ON VOCALS ✋🏼
Seeing people saying Tesseract and Periphery vibes...but I'm getting The Contortionist vibes off parts of this as well
pretty cool.
I’d say tesseract, polyphia, the Contortionist, and even a little between the buried and me.
A vocalist with a guitar. Such a lost art. Great stuff, guys.
@@TheBanana93 check their new single "dinner" he puts some great vocals there
Till date this is literally the best one.... ❤❤🎉🎉
omg it's 4 years old!? still as good as 4 years ago! still getting chills every time the screaming part hits!
Finally, a band of this genre where you can ACTUALLY HEAR THE BASS.
Me watch Jared Dines’ video: Who’s this guy faking guitar?
Me 20 mins later: Unprocessed is pretty fuckin rad.
Yeah I don't hear anything here that would be unplayable by an experienced guitarist. I think I could play most of this song although some of those stretches look tough.
@@izzate7 I guess, I wouldn't process my guitar sound all to hell, and I don't have the percussive sensibility their front man does. However the rest of it is standard legato arppegios with some harmonics thrown in. It's very lovely. I should learn this song.
Saw these guys in Manchester with Polyphia (and tides of man). What a gig.
Yoooo I was there stood at the top of the stairs it was incredible I got to say hi to Manuel and David when they walked to their merch stand :)
Jared dines, thanks for bringing me here. My ears are blessed now
How did jared dines bring u here??? Hes probly never even heard of this amazing band
he shared this MV on ig (story and post) ;)
he has discovered the band and wanted to make an "ad" for them
That intro is 🔥
I realy like how professionaly he handled the fake guitar accusations. He didnt make a video or response just kept on doing work and later the haters hate.
I am legitimately terrified of this band’s next album.
Like, how can you possibly go up from here?
They’ve changed their sound pretty drastically since this album but honestly I’m digging it just as much. Unprocessed is a band that can do no wrong in my opinion
damn, flawless instrumentals. this label has some really great bands!
Dude i just love this kind of progressive, complex rhythms!
@@ProgJester I more meant all the fills and beats the drummer is playing, this guy is insane
I love how Manuel walks in like some sort of Mariachi. Amazing songwriting, incredibly crisp sound, awesome combination of electronic sounds and good ol' handmade metal! Just the right balance between growls and cleans. And not to forget: a great video, too! You guys know your s**t! Both thumbs up!
Sounds like Polyphia on Dark mode.
Just because someone uses an octaver doesn’t mean it sounds like polyphia
@@trickers24 Sure. Tell that to the load of people in the comments who all think this sounds like polyphia.
The Boot Patrol this tune has that Polyphia groove though, I’m sure that’s what the guy meant.
lyrics intro : "Djeeeent, chekit-chech-cheke-chichak..."
I want this guy to scratch my back lol. Scratchyscratchyscrascraychyskscscscscratchyscscratchy
It’s like if tesseracT, polyphia, periphery, and the contortionist blended together into this beautiful band
That screamed section was absolutely at the right time. Such a beautiful synthesis of styles and techniques.
These guys really out here using a 5 string bass, 8 string guitar and two 6 string guitars. Take my like and get outta here.
the 2 six string guitars are single coil and one of them looks rlly cheap
I am imagining the 8 string as the driving force, tuned Drop E (8th string dropped). In this format, the 2 guitars tuned e standard will play along easily for the rhythm backings with chords and such while the homie on the 8 djents. The 5 string bass standard tuned actually is in the same octave as the 8 string drop E, using the 4th E string as the primary string and really only using the lower B string for accents and fills. Have a good day if you still are reading this comment.
I just love every single instrument and you can hear every single instrument individually if you listen close enough. The skill in the beauty of each instrument melodically coming together
The bass is such a joyful instrument. You can't underestimate it.
Where have this been all my life?!
Big Tesseract vibes, and I’m loving it.
Bass player is on point. Fun to watch him play. Great song glad to have discovered something new.
1:47 to 2:03 is on repeat mode. That bassline is soo meaty and punchy along with that beautiful synth/MIDI keyboards going in the background.
Man that dingwall cuts straight through the mix. Love it
Holy cowbell...ein weiterer Schritt vorwärts. Ich glaube ihr habt euren Stil gefunden. Einzigartig. Sauber.
Holy Mother of Prog!
I can't believe this master piece is still under 1 million views.
Many, many, many listenings later... one of the finest songs of 2019.
I like this. I don’t know what it is, but I like this.
“Hey dude, you wanna listen to some technical progressive math/pop rock/metal?”
@@davidgarcia6796 Yeah, when rock and pop come together, example would be 2018 Bring Me the Horizon
@@orangetakedown I mean that in this song, and in most of the other Unprocessed songs, I dont really see any pop rock in them
@@davidgarcia6796 What I said up there was obviously a joke, however I do think this was influenced by it and the base vibe of this song is pop rock
Cool bassist
So much musical diversity in one awesome track. The first vocal part gave me Celldweller vibes and then the track took a complete turn without it feeling off. Really great job
I was a little skeptical at the beginning, but I'm I ended up listening to the whole song! You have a new fan right here! This music just gave me goosebumps!
It feels like I been asleep while all these new wave bands and record companies have been doing their thing because Im amazed by all this underground music.
WHY AM I DISCOVERING THIS NOW
THE INSTRUMENTALS IS SO COOL
VOCALIST’S VOICE REAL HOT
I think I found my new fav song
Even though the video is so simple, the concept of shooting a whole music video in one take is absolutely ingenious!!🔥
And well, the music is fantastic.... obviously!
Single take videos are super big right now but this one is definitely solid.
Mind blown
I literally just heard these guys, literally one of the most talented groups of guys I've ever seen. This sound is insanely unique and I'm here for it.
nobody wants to talk about this but this was all shot in a *SINGLE TAKE!*
Seems like a recurring thing in their MV's. One shot, and only one take.
@@alanclarke5728 part of the concept i suppose, theyre not morons who dont know how to plug their guitars
Speaker on the floor next to the drummer, just play along like you would on stage. Mostly kudos to the camera operator for not tripping or missing focus. It's not like missing a note would even be noticeable in this context. One shot btw does not mean one take. It's just more frustrating when you do mess up as you have to start again from the top ;)
Polyphia? The Contortionist? TesseracT? No. Unprocessed... an amazing and unique band to add to my list. You guys have just gained a new fan!
You're just being subjective if you said this doesnt had other bands resemblance.
Are people not aware of SikTh, the guys who inspired all the other bands everyone keeps mentioning?!
The bass & rhythm section of this song are seriously next level. Really carries it and drives the sound forward.
Mad Tesseract vibes with the bass and just everything personally, talented and super dope.
the last 30 seconds.....exploded what little "brains" I have left...SO good!
These textures on the riffs.. this ambience. We just close our eyes and the trip begins..
The outro lead on this is pure genius, fair play.
Just discovered these guys through Spotify. I'm on board! It was the new song Real, but so happy to see they bring the heaviness too - my real jam.
A crazy thing that probably very few people have noticed, he's been using a $260 guitar the whole time and in the music video. WOW
You can get great sounds out of cheap instruments with great playing and good recording and mixing knowledge
@@NathanielBTM Slick guitars sounds amazing. It's not about the money, it is about how you know and play your instrument.
I will always remember when my ex snd i were waiting to see Deftones at the Fillmore in downtown Detroit/Comerica Park area, and an old black dude walking by (lookn like an Earth Wind and Fire member) told me, "hey young fella, you remeber these words, its the pimp that makes the clothes, not the clothes that make the pimp." How right he was. It applies to everything. Period.
Cool 🤘🤘🤘
When he went chkchkchkchk, I really felt that
When this song popped up on my Spotify Discover Weekly, I thought “wow tessaract came out with another jam” little did I know these dudes just come out and blow my mind
Rendezvous Point turned me on to Long Branch Records. The bands on this label are killing it!
That intro riff is one of the tastiest things I've heard this year
It sounds like a heavier ployphia with vocals, thanks for the recommendation stevie t!!
Hell, I was thinking a polyphia/yvette young lovechild. young polyphia or polyphyvette? idk which ones funnier yet.
Polyphia, Periphery, Flux Conduct..... I can hear all of that here... great stuff
Was gonna say early intervals sounds a lot like this but these guys do great at making this their own.
Progressive Technical Breakbeats Djent-Core!
YAAAY THANKS FOR THE GREATNESS YAAAY
The Djent is big in these guys. Started a lot like Polyphia, sounded like Tesseract during the verses and turned into Periphery. I really love it! More Unprocessed please!
This band is seriously amazing.
This is great! So many layers! Interesting song writing, great guitar tones, dynamic, phat bass, polyrhythms. I'm an instant fan. Excited for your album
wow this dude surprised me. i found out trough instagram that he's in a band but i didnt know that he also sings. And i also didnt know that they are from germany where i'm also from.
I love how he plays walking up to the mic, that was a nice intro, and then as he joins the rest of his band the rest of the music just explodes. Great direction.
You know it’s gonna be good when you’re 30 seconds in and you have goosebumps
The drummer looks like he has a big secret and he’s dying to tell everyone but no one ever asks.
Thank you Spiritbox Spotify for showing me this amazing band! #newestobsession
Wow. Just, wow my dudes. Everything about that was incredible. Wow...
i really love the way this music is progressing...first time hearing, no doubt very talented..its only getting better from here!
This is amazing! ❤️
Edit: Thank you Stevie T for directing me here! 😊🤘
nxt lvl. Seriously, I can't wait for this album to be released!
OMG, that sweet, sweet bass!
I love absolutely everything about this song!
OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!! 🤩 this will be a masterpiece, absolutely.
holy cow
The kind of middle eight near the end reminds me of the middle eight in the BMTH song 'Can You Feel My Heart?'. Including the build-up with dynamics back into the coda, except it doesn't go back into anything. Love both songs for what they are.
This isn't really my style of music, but it was so well done I couldn't click away. I wanted to see everywhere it would go, and was impressed with all of it.
Same not my taste but the production is impeccable and deserves every listen this song gets.
That's kind of how I feel about their newer music, I've heard it and it just doesn't quite jam with me as well. Maybe you'd like that stuff better? :)
Woah this is incredible, not only the music but the continuous shot.
This was an absolute jam. I love this song.
The engineer on this one gets a huge high five. What a great recording!!!
You like it that artificial sounding?
It could sound good if it would be produced more like the bandname says!
I love how clearly you can hear the bass.
RIGHT!!!!!!
even its not plugged
I LOVE HOW YOU CAN HEAR EVERYTHING...
sounds unprofessional
@@Skrapes what about it?
