That is an impressive upgrade, and really great value for all you get in the kit. If I had a Pan I’d definitely be doing it!

I have these on my st1300... making the bike more visible is always a good idea. I have thought about putting red led reflector lights in the panniers. Should be easy to do but would need to disconnect them when every time the panniers are removed. Keep up the good work.

Cheers Steve, I did start looking at the different modifications people have done to the panniers, but like you, its the power thing that puts me off. Very much like the LED strips in the fairing and around the bottom of the bike, great idea, but its even more cabling to work around when removing the plastics.

@@GTsGarage I've put some amber led lights in the little tiny holes in the mirror trim. Can be seen from the rear and also gives me an indication that I have left them on by mistake. I find depending on seat height and my position I can't always see the indicator lights on the dash as they are set high above the speedo and rev dial.

undo the cable tie on the mirror covers and unplug the whole unit its easier to work on. before you replace the clear lens remove the black foam and sticky tape residue. when the foam is missing it gives you a glow around the mirror which is useful at night with cars closeby. you dont need to remove the dash or the screen or the top panel to do this you can do it from the left main fairing and reach up under the front and cable tie the lead in place. with the amount of spare plugs on the aux harness im surprised he did a piggyback and not a 9 block as nothing uses the 9 i think

Why remove the fairing for the headlight bulb replacement. Just turn the handlebars and insert from below!

what was with the relay that came with the kit? Why was the opposite side lamp blinking when the turn signal was flashing?

GT, another very good video from you. Do you still have your ST1300 or did you get rid of it when the bought the Triumph?
The reason I ask is that I am interested in this upgrade but as it is expensive I am worried that the new front lights may fail the MOT and I've wasted my money. My understanding of the regs is that you can only have LEDs if the manufacturer fitted them originally. So did yours pass the MOT ok?

Hi I replace my main headlight bulbs with LEDs and it went through MOT without a mention. As long as the beam is well adjusted, it shouldn't be an issue?
