    To fit a denali soundbomb on a st13 you can either cable tie it to the old horn bracket but it wont be solid or......
    A spade crimp set and crimping tool. a 30amp inline fuse and some cable to run from the horn to the battery. 240v mains will work.
    some thick ply or thick hard board of any material. A cutting tool to cut a circle in it. and very long cable ties. some cardboard and a marker. a drill
    1. remove the right main fairing. remove the old horn. using cardboard cut a square a bit bigger than the horn.
    2. hold square over old horn bracket push it as high up as it will go and make sure the left side is under the dash plastic so the pocket will not hit it.
    3. if need be cut the cardboard smaller to fit the space better.
    4. hold the cardboard in place and mark on the rear where the bracket is. if this is difficult you can eyball mark the bracket from the front.
    5. cut the wood or board to the same size and mark where the bracket is.
    6. place the denali on the board and mark where the domed middle sits. and cut a round hole. if the board is thick enough the dome will not protrude past the other side if it does cut another board the same and test the denali to check it doesnt protrude.
    7. drill holes on the board to go either side of the board bracket lines you marked.
    8. notch the top bottom left and right sides of the boards with notches wide enough for the long cable ties to sit in.
    hold the boards against the bracket and put cable ties through the holes around the bracket and back out and tie once the board is solid place the soundbomb on the board using the notches wrap the ties around the board left to right top to bottom to clamp the soundbomb to the board

    Added removable ply shelf which can replace the topbox. Its a third of the weight and allows you to carry a double sleeping bag or long objects if you put a support on the pillion seat. The magnet mount is gone the bracket cut done to hold a quadlock with a shear nut on the back and the allen hole drilled out on the front. It has two indicator strips along the edge so when im looking at my phone the leds are pointing straight into my eyes so i cant forget to cancel them. Also added a denali soundbomb and its a beast.
    for a full breakdown join the uk pan fb group and look in the file section for st1300 modifications

    Your tent shelf obstructs your registration plate. You will be a magnet for police stopping you.

      i carry a extra plate that hooks under the straps holding the bag thanks to a bar bolted on the back of the extra plate

    Just added the LED headlights and they are brilliant (literally) - did you replace the rubber surrounds on the back of the headlight mounts?

      @luc1ferblack  3 роки тому

      I did but it required pushing in harder or you can trim the rubber back. I love the headlights
