Hey Kyle, hope all is well with you and yours! I am really hoping you can resume making videos soon. In my opinion you have one of, if not the best sites, with the most informed and detailed training! It's so helpful to open your video, open the flex board view app, and open a pdf schematic and follow along with you online. I have not found anyone else to give such detailed, helpful, and easy to follow instructions online. You are the best in my opinion just not the most consistent, I am sure because you have been busy. Hope you can bounce back! For now I just keep going over and over the same videos all the time. I am thankful for what you have done to date of course. Regards and hope to see you back here soon.
Really miss seeing your regular videos, I was learning a lot. Hope you are staying healthy and business is doing okay! Regards

hi sr good video
Clear,concise & truly educational.
Diode mode testing for shorts is used extensively in UA-cam videos but I have yet to see a clear explanation of the way it works.
Maybe you could explain?
Kind regards!
HAR HAR Thanks! I appreciate the input, I will add it to my list of videos to make.
Waiting for a new repair videos
Please 😞
Hi bro great video.
I have an pro 15" a1990 but this was has 4 pieces of that chip. No visible damage but the same issues as the video 5 volt in stead of 20 volt. How can i measure which ic it is? thanks
AA Repairs It can be hard to pinpoint, I would physically feel on the chips for heat coming from one of them.
Hey there, I have a question that's totally unrelated to this video. I have a MacBook Pro (2017) keyboard that backlit light doesn't seem to work. its just a single one and I can't seem to figure out how to fix it. When I mess around the area where the light is, its starts flickering. I have to hold it at a certain pressure and angle point for its to start working, but stop when I release it. Any advice on how I should approach this problem? Thanks
What happened to you, im still looking your videos
Hi there
I have the same board 820-00239 with a unresponsive Touch Bar.
I diagnosed the issue with some OL on the Touch Bar connector, which happen to lead to the under filled Apple T1.
Have you had to re ball these chips before because I Can’t understand how boards become be like this.
Btw I have compared to a know good board and there definitely OL’s where there shouldn’t be.
All the best 👍
i have a MacBook Pro w/ Touchbar 13.3" 2.9GHz Core i5 - Late 2016. Doesn't Power On. how much is the cost to repair it?
