@Derek Frampton First off, you're a low IQ gamma, stop shitting on Bitchute just because. Also, Louis if you're reading this, just do these two steps:
      1. Setup account
      2. Setup auto-mirroring option.
That way all the new stuff you'll upload will auto-mirror to Bitchute at no effort on your part. Bitchute is skyrocketing and I don't see how can it be a bad idea to jump on it early, especially for content unrelated to politics because Bitchute is SATURATED with political content.

Just curious, how do you track the repairs that you've made on a board? Are you mentally keeping note? This is one of the first boards I've seen you work on where you had to replace multiple chips to get it functioning again, got me wondering if you write any notes or keep track of the old chips or something.

The better the service you provide, the more work you will get, which will cause you to be further behind, requiring you to work harder, which will generate more business, which will make you further behind....until your head explodes. RRGs current business model(repairing MacBooks), has its days numbered. The T2 chip has the potential to invalidate the continuation of business model, so as the pre T2 computers die by natural attrition(you cant keep them alive for ever), the pool of new business will inevitably dry up. Also, he mentioned in a previous video that his lease is up in the near future and that, when that happens, it might be the end of the business(perhaps he’s backed off that position since, I dont watch every video).
So basically all of that to say, maybe hay while the sun is shining. There’s work to be done, and people willing to pay for it. Mine that gold as fast as possible while its there to be made. You can sleep later.

    • @Anonymouspock
      @Anonymouspock 5 років тому

The T2 chip does not invalidate the business model, it will prevent you replacing some parts for sure but it can't possibly authenticate capacitors, it probably can't authenticate charger ICs, etc.

I have 20v on pin 2 of the diode and 20v coming out of the diode. And on the schematic for 820-00239 it shows ppdcin g3h chgr r should be 20v on pin 2 of d6902 and coming out on pin 3 as 8.6v for the supply to u6903.
So I’m not understanding why you are ok with 5v coming in on pin2 of d6902
Because right now I have 20v on pin 2 and 20v coming out on pin 3

Remarkably informative and straight to the point. The electronics troubleshooting is way over my head so I cannot claim to be a good "judge" of the quality of your reasoning. As such, I'm more than willing to give you the Benefit of the Doubt in that regard. It's a very good presentation, and it might very well contain the key to my problem, which is that my A1706 will not even charge.

I know absolutely nothing about electronics but find watching this channel so interesting! Why don't they use leaded solder to begin with?

Hi Louis got the same board it’s pulls 1.4amp at 20v without battery connected fans spins but the screen doesn’t energise nor the keyboard lights.
    PPBUS IS 13v without battery
    PPBUS IS 11v with battery
    Is that something !!
The trackpad is broken because it prevents the board from turning on, I’m not sure if trackpad is needed for it to boot.
I don’t like to plse bro ..lol but which direction can I go from here.
Oh vcore is 1.05v and steady.
    Much appreciated for any advice.

Hmm the Rossman group store... Pirate some schematics and buy all the chips and make your own Macbook.
What a pain in the ass reballing a small chip like that with a whole bunch of capacitors around it in the way looks. I have steady hands working with small electronics but thats crazy.
On that diode, first I'm like "Thats a crapload of solder" then came the solder wick. xD
    "Overfucked" New electronics term.

guys i need help. i have the very same macbook. screen wasn't working so i replaced the screen VERY CAREFULLY and it did work. i started installing high sierra on it because none of my higher version os x sticks didn't work on it. i put big sur, mojave, catalina and monterey usb sticks but they were kept restarting. so i started installing high sierra. left the room, came back to see black screen. now only life i get from this macbook is trackpad clicks (haptic feedback i mean) for a while, then starts and stops for several times and remains clickable. no fan spins at all. i am not sure what to do now. please help.

My wife's MacBook Pro wouldn't boot up; I tried fixing it in Safe mode, but it said the logical memory was full.
She took it to a local shop (I recommended not taking it to Apple based on these videos).
They said the hard drive was bad, and only had 700 hours on it. They replaced it and it's fine now, other than she lost everything that was on it.

Consider the time investment someone makes to go to a store. I would second or third guess myself that maybe the door is sticky if the lights are on and someone's in there saying something to me that's muffled. Now I wouldn't go banging on the door demanding that you open up for me, but I'm not a fucking idiot for trying one last time. I mean that guy probably came all the way from Yonkers or whatever the boonies is in New York.
