#redditrelationship #redditupdate
Is the coworker dumb? Marrying James after what he did to his ex-wife? Damn she's on for a great time
She did have an affair with a cheater fully aware that he's a cheater, so her moral compass is questionable at best... she might be a gold digger.
I was wondering if the coworkers kid was his. 🤷♀️
Also marry someone who has been in jail no less, i mean for legit crime n likely not repentant
Some people are delusional, they think they will be the one to change someone, to save them, or that they are 'fated' to be together. I say once a cheater, always a cheater. If he can leave the country and abandon his own son, then being a 'father' for someone else's son is tenuous at best.
The mistress always thinks things will be different and better.
So they committed perjury, a felony, for money smh
Perjury, falsification of evidence, a law for doing such activities for money I forget, emotional distress
Wonder how long ex and in laws went to jail for if parents/brother got 6 months+
Don't forget false imprisonment and kidnapping. They locked her in a room while they came up with their plan.
Family: "How could you use us and betray us like this, after we did the same to you?!"
Sweet karmic justice
That aside, there's also the fact that by law, testimony coming from liars of witness are lot more doubtful because their previous testimony has been a lie in front of the court.
OP did well using their own words against them all instead of their own farces.
How do you comment on every one of these videos more then 100 comments also your the goat
@@kimkessinger295 he's not
@@TrueLight-zr8ou why?
Three birds with one stone:
1.) Custody acquired
2.) Shitty Ex screwed
3.) deadbeat family outplayed
Bravo OP
4.) Living the good life.
Just saw the thumbnail and her family betraying her for her ex cause and frankly both sides of this family suck god how did op turn out so relatively normal and I hope her son turns out better than her ex husband
YUP I had to hear this one
So the co-worker has a kid around the same age as her son. And James started acting wierd some time into her pregnancy. Doesn't that seem like James cheated then already and that it could be his son? If the kid is a little younger as op son than that could be possible or not. Because otherwise it does not really make sense that the co-worker went with james to europe. I mean am I the only one that had this thought?
I was thinking the same thing dw
I think that is also James' son
I am thinking the exact same thing. He was stressed out about having two children that he needed to take care of
So... Her family wanted her son out of their hands, because it was causing them trouble... And they wanted her to PAY THEM FOR THAT??? She would be doing them all a favor! The audacity!
The craziest thing is how you gonna lie to get custody of the kid and when you got him never gave a shit about him and constantly fighting over who’s gonna watch shit is disgusting
The only reason I can see is to hurt the partner you are separating from...
@@cat_03tv
Probably because OP manhandled the harlot that her husband cheated on her with.
Every time a mother is convinced to quit her job to be a SAHM, it screams "TRAP" to me...
Trashy husband logic: "now that I have financial control over my wife, I can ab-se her and cheat on her all I want and she'll never leave me!"
If I ever get married I'm gonna sign a prenup with exceptions and conditions. Plus I'd also write out a WILL and have a video version to go with it.
@KingHavocDraigo everyone says that prenuptial agreements are unromantic and a sign that you are not committed. What about a prenuptial agreement that says if I cheat you get everything? Make a greater commitment than required in normal divorce? To make it fair, have it go both ways.
@@matthewschocke4094 exactly, I would also put in cases of abuse that resulted in ptsd in the partner or visual identification of abuse.
Saaaaaaame dude. I know tons of women who are SAHMs because they WANT to be. I’d never make it as a SAHM, but if it’s what the WIFE wants then I’m all for her choosing to live her life the way she wants to. Feminism is all about giving women a choice, after all. But when she has a job she loves and knows she’s capable of working and being a mother and people talk her out of her career???? Toxic af. Get the prenup and GET. OUT.
It's not always a trap, not all men are trash but that's why a prenup is always a good thing for both parties. Always get one with an infidelity clause, so whoever cheats pays
“my family are saying i’m an asshole for what i did”
…and you care about their opinion…because WHY?
They sold you out for money and threw you aside and karma bit them.
They got what they deserved.
They had it comming lol
To add the cherry on top, I'd sue for emotional damages.
So smh they claimed she's alcoholic and she didn't make any test to clarify that they lied??
She tried her best
It would be hard to fight cause of the overwhelming amount of people testifying against her.
Eventually, the cowoker thatn James marries is gonna realise he'll just do the same thing to her eventually.
Last time, people- anyone who will cheat WITH you, will cheat ON you.
The moral of the story is money can buy your way out of trouble but karma text no bribes
He’s totally the bio dad of AP’s kid.
My thoughts exactly.
Wait just a damn minute. Family claims perjury and it is recorded. And she doesn't counter sue for defamation? That defamation suit would have gotten her a lot more in money no?
Her family probably didn't have any money.
Why waste time and rack up more legal expenses?
It's a fake story
All three of Ops family members all ended up getting out of jail/prison for only 6 months due to good behavior? 🤨
This is the American prison system. Selling crack can get you a higher sentence than cp. it’s awful.
@@aaron_rambles1817 sounds about right
@aaron_rambles1817 Oh, the US justice system has been screwing my family over for decades, I'm well aware. The veracity of this story is dubious, nonetheless. I highly doubt all three people would end up leaving jail at the same time.
@@HouseBijecarla maybe not the same time but close timescale
So, going back to work= insulting him and his capability, but stay at home and take care of stuff = putting immense pressure on him, like bro, either bite your tongue and ask for help, or stop being so childish.
Also, 'betrayed their trust' and what of your daughter's trust in you?? You sold that trust and got manipulated so easily, I'd say that's karma at its finest.
Disgusting how OPs in laws and ex husband would do all of that to get custody of the child but then not want to actually look after the child.. just shows they did it out of spite and that they didn’t love that little boy, just loved making OP suffer without her child, so glad things worked out in the end
It will always amaze me how people will do diabolical heinous acts, and then act surprised when they are given no quarter. To testify that your own daughter is an unstable alcoholic and have her child ripped from her for money, then be absolutely gobsmacked that the betrayal has consequences. Can anyone show me where to find that level of audacity?
Glorious karmic revenge!
SO many butterflies in my stomach right now!
OP is the mascot of 'karma's a bitch'
Happy OP saw through the bs and played the *ultimate* uno reverse card. She literally had to throw away her entire family just to ensure her son lived a healthy. well-balanced life. Hope they didn’t drop the soap while in jail lmao
Man i feel for people whose families are trash.
if I were op id have sued everyone for damages from mental distress and make the dad pay big child support
Good for OP she got her son back and raising him good but she should’ve have child support and probably sue her family and his family and him for mental and emotional abuse and threats. I wish you didn’t lose her cool on the AP cause she would’ve got some evidence out of that and don’t ever invite this friends the family nobody ever again
how could you betray us! we only betrayed you earlier for money! this is uncalled for!
my god...
One unbelievable part - if you’re an alcoholic, it leaves visible traces, and a doctor examination would prove she isn’t.
Sever ties with the ex husband, mom, dad and brother, take your son get full custody and move several states over
criminal court is where you see monsters, family court is where you see demons
I don’t think I would have enough restraint to stop me from what I would do if I was in that situation.
This is why every woman AND man should have their financial independency
I'm like 75% sure that the coworker's kid is the ex-husband cause surely his hatred towards op started way before their son is born
I feel so bad for what happened to the OP, and her family are even worse than the ex in-laws and "James". None of them deserve anything from the OP, and her own family lying over money proves that they are beyond scum. It doesn't matter they got anything, rather it was the fact they even sold her out on a promise. She had every right to record every word. I am so very glad she got custody, and the in-laws and "James" going to prison was more than justified. But knowing that the in-laws and OP's family ALL went to jail is so satisfying.. but "James" getting to "live in Europe", where some countries are much harder on men like him, is hysterical.
what kind of monster do you have to be to stole custody and don't give a sht about the kid?
Ex Husband should be revisited by Karma again. Jail Time is not enough for what he actually did, He cheated on his Wife then took away their Son even though he doesn't really care about their son.
The coworker's kid is probably also the ex's kid too.
The ending just warms my petty heart... 🖤🖤🖤🖤
I'm flaggerblasted that OP went to work in her friend's company despite said friend testifying against her or siding with the ex husband ? That's not okay
She seriously had to ask if AITA? How slow is she😭😭😭
As slow as her family who accepted a deal with nothing in writing 🤣 apple didn't fall that far from the tree
These stories are all made by AI, the other day it was a woman bordering 70 asking that question. Because it's apparently normal for people of that age to have AITA in their vocab
When you are raised by people who distort your world view through abuse, it can be hard to see through yhe bullshit.
Its an ai generated story using an aita prompt
Years of gaslighting and emotional manipulation does not go away overnight. If we could just snap all the emotional turmoil away a la Thanos, then all the therapists in the world would be out of a job.
"driven him to cheat on me" lmao I hope that doesn't hold up in court
This is the most wholesome reddit story ending I've ever heard
So they fought for custody but then never even wanted the kid and gave them to the maternal grandparents?
and what about the court that did little to find the truth and caused a child to be put in danger for 4 years? nothing at all.
should sue the court
NTA.. Everybody in this story is goofy except OP, her son & lawyer. OP'S "parents" are 🚮 and pathetic.
If her family lied for their testimonies then isn't that illegal?
Marrying an overly conservative husband should have been a red flag tbh
If OP did what their parents suggested and just let them literally commit perjury a second time, the ex's lawyer would have been able to drag them and make OP out to be even worse. They just don't want to deal with the fact that they committed a crime.
Tf is with rich people thinking selling their paied off house and living in an apartment is going to save money? I live in a small town, and a studio is going to cost close to $900 a month plus utilities, where an unpaied off house is $500.
When I lived in a city, it was clossr to $1000 studio apartment on the bad side of town, and $300 a month house in a fashionable neighborhood in 2019
Man I want to know what happened to those POS so called friends
No way Blud said I have to maintain my lifestyle like no you dont
NTA they betrayed you and testified against you because your ex offered them money to do so you had the right to show that they lied in court and get them charged with perjury. Glad you have custody again.
Bro the ex husband got custody just to not take care of his kid😭 like he deserves the worst life possible
11:10 I still have to mantain the lifestile I was living before but I cant exactly live like a batchlor and cut cost.... umm why? Why does this sound like a red flag, you got the alimony and a job, you got to feed yourself only, for who are you mantaining a lifestyle you can't afford?
I don't know why but something irks me about that, not sure anyone else caught it
it’s most likely an ai story so little sections like this make sense. i caught it but yk, it’s a story for entertainment at the end of the day
Yeah. Even if it is a true story, so far sounds if the Op is either gaslighting or in denial. The part when she said she was forced to quit but she originally said her and her husband came to the agreement, is when I started to question it.
Caught me off guard as well. But following that she talks about selling the house to downsize. So maybe she meant that upkeep of a house on your own is more expensive than living like a bachelor in a small apartment with room mates and just worded it ambiguously.
Sweet sweet justice to the 'family' getting charges they deserve.
With family like that, who needs enemies. They sold their souls, integrity and morals for non existent money. What scumbags.
To be honest situations like this is why I think there should be a law regarding false accusations for serious matters. like rape and all that stuff. because like with op here it almost completely ruined his life! also the family should have considered what would have happened if he killed himself or something like that? what would they have done? track down his grave and just became grieving?
also I understand you can be emotional sometimes but it's important to hear all sides of a story in order to come to a logical conclusion. personally I think his ex should be thrown into prison for as many years as he was kicked out of the family. and the family forced to pay him a Titanic amount of fees.
but on the bright side he now has a loving family who actually cares about him. and I think he was in the right to show the pictures of his loving family to the ones who abandoned him. showing what they could have had if they had just taken 10 seconds to listen to him.
in the end they reaped what they soed.
I would sue the family as well
Soooo they betrayed you for money and then asked for your money and forgiveness
Can they not sue for parental alienation, defemation and emotional damage?
Can't believe it. First view and comment. Like for good luck for the rest of the year
Listening to this made my blood pressure rise, omfg 😭😭😭
She screwed herself when she said, "I have a lifestyle to maintain" rather than sacrifice that for her kid.
You have to maintain a certain lifestyle (not living in squalor) to prove to the courts that you are a fit and safe environment to have a child in. I didn't read it as she refused to sacrifice luxuries.
They have the audacity to preach OP? For real
play stupid game, win stupid prizes
This is so sad
I thought she was delusional first since i thought sociopathic males died out and its usually the father getting screwed over by the mom.
Bet the co-worker's child belongs to the scummy ex.
I’ll just say it’s a great story and probably A.I since there was some odd things in some of the sentences that threw everything off and was highly questionable but great nonetheless
How do you lock someone inside their own bedroom?
The parents and Ops family, they’re incredibly toxic and dumb to fall for an obvious blackmail scheme, and they threw their daughter under the bus she. Her husband was caught cheating on Op, I’d give them 4/5 cuz ya they did tell Op after but they did basically throw her under the bus.
Her husband on the other hand is downright disgusting, and devious. He basically used his own kid as a weapon against Ops parents and Op, “if you don’t lie for me, I’ll make it that you’ll never see your grand child again.” He’s a 5/5 for me, but I’m glad Op got out of that relationship and cut her parents off considering they can’t be trusted for what they’ve done.
Is this even a real question
She had supervised visits but was never allowed to see her son?
You'd be surprised how this can happen
Wait, how was she unable to prove that she isn't an alcoholic? Just visit a doctor! She probably really was hitting the bottle.
😅 i don't want to be that person but that's not how the law or custody works. In most states and countries you would need to have a reevaluation done. Second she attacked someone in front of children with a room full of witnesses. That single episode would be enough evidence in court. Third most court hate the idea of overturning rulings unless the person in question did something criminal of that violated the original ruling.
JUST GREATTT!!!!!!!!!!!
'
Ain't no way I'm this early yaalllll
I'm apologise that you cheated on me
Oh, so you're facing the consequences of your actions, and rather than admit you were wrong, you chose to pin the blame on the family member you betrayed? Cry me a freaking river. (That was sarcasm, if you could not tell)
Honestly, the rotten apple did not fall far from the tree, and I can easily tell where the ex-husband learned to be so manipulative. The thing that irks me is how the ex's family more or less got away with backstabbing OP and her family. Yeah, the family aren't saints and karma did hit them hard for their betrayal, but the ex and his family pretty much got what they wanted. Sure, the ex served time, but he is now married with his AP and has a child, while the in-laws who made that false promise were not even investigated for perjury, since there was no concrete evidence to implicate them (word of mouth cannot be used as evidence in the court of law). For OP's sake, I hope all these awful human beings never return to torment her.

Your first mistake is his name is James because true yo gorm, he cheated. It sounds like his family is just as bad.
Tell me you’re a pos family without telling me you are…
You lnow i used to think these stories were complete bullshit, but honestly after being married to a bipolar woman, who held our marriage over my head everytime I wanted to smoke a little Doobie or lit up a smoke. Saying shit like what a good husband should do and what a good husband would say instead of what i would do or say. Her parents didn't like me, but their religion doesn't allow divorce, but still punished their daughter for marrying, in their words, a nonbeliever. Imagine your parents treating you differently for who you marry, but not allowing a divorce. It still happened. Her parents religion, whoch she didn't practice in good faith when we were dating, tore us apart. I wasn't going to change myself for them, not to please them. I was willing to play nice for her, but that wasn't enough. Bad Christians. You can't bully anyone into believing in God. Hell I was even Catholic. I knew God was real and Jesus died for all man's sin. But because I wasn't a Baptist, I didn't truly know God. What a load of crap.

“Maintain the lifestyle” “can’t cut cost’s” wtf is wrong with this women
Well its probably to help keep herself in check. With how life kinda kicked you in the ass you are going to be reliant on whatever comfort you can find. Plus she seem to have went minimalistic the moment things got better for the sake of her child
I'd rent that house out and move elsewhere and live until my son turned old enough to hate his dad and find me
Why can't they use a different pattern for the story. It's getting really boring and repetative
Honestly, I completely don't believe this story. Either it's completely made up or the op lives in a strange world. The only way that the court would give the father full custody would be if he had proof of her problems and the judge believed it, which isn't easy. At best, she would have had to have an evaluation for the anger issues.
One reason I don't believe the story is because of the fact that she apparently had visitation righrs, but never reported that he wasn't allowing them. Unless he had SOLE custody, he doesn't have the power to deny the court ordered visitation without the risk of being held contempt of court. I doubt op would have missed the chance to get him arrested for it.
A lot depends on the venue. If it was heard in a small, rural county where OP's ex's church was influential, it was all done and dusted at once; no judge fearing re-election would make any other decision.
My issue(s) with this story- I always call BS when there is an outside lock on a inside bedroom or bathroom. It makes no sense to me and what a safety concern! Good story but the dad locking his daughter inside her bedroom is ludicrous. My other issue, not one member of her family had any sense of a moral backbone? A little bit of a stretch for me. Still a very enjoyable story!
So like, I am 100% all for traditional marriages were the husband is sole breadwinner. I have several friends who live like that and see how it can work. 1 thing they all have in common is that the neither side tries to compare which one has a harder job. They all understand each one has stuff they have to get done. It annoys me when couples compare who brings more, thats not acting like a partner thats just fishing for reasons to dislike your spouse.
i like how op STILL knows about her ex 😂 op get over it
Again wirh this doormat ahit
