In the past France had the front plate white and the back plate yellow. Bcs it where all old cars it where also old license plates. Thats why it was not Luxoumbourg plates.
Most likely the plates are yellow because the picture is like a decade old, which is a different yellow/orange than Luxembourgs btw. there's no such licensed plates in France anymore nowadays even on old cars as i noticed a few years back.

I hope it makes them seem less annoying if I tell you that they relate only to the places I guessed right ...best to draw a veil over the many that I got hopelessly wrong. 9:55 -- Couldn't have been Romania, in any case; not with that yellow-diamond "bends ahead" road sign. 11:55 -- That style of road-edge-striping is *very* Danish, and yes, Danish numberplates do have a red surround. 16:45 -- Numberplate (European shape) and yellow directional sign (even though it's blurred) make it Norway. 30:35 -- Quite a few older vehicles in France still have black-and-white front numberplates, yellow rear numberplates -- which was the style there until a few years ago. By the way, Tom, you are showing your (young) age by failing to recognize a Renault 4 when you see one!😀

Complicated issue. They are sovereign states, but not sovereign countries. All ruled by the same queen. At least, they are not countries by all definitions. They have their own national football teams. But they go to the Olympics as UK. Stuff like that. Then there is that whole thing with Israel and Palestine... The important thing here is that they are not countries on Google Maps. That's what should count.
The confusion isn't helped by the fact that the UK calls their first level divisions "countries", but in general, countries are those who go to the United Nations, so that's the UK here, which encompasses both Scotland and England, so same country.
3:30 the coloured bins are Australia's typical rubbish disposal system. So yellow, red and green bins; or just yellow and dark green in the older looking neighbourhoods may be a good indicator that you're in Australia. You could also note the holdens (car brand) since they're really only in AU and NZ.
Only us oldies remeber that one. And thanks for filling in the 4. Didn't recall if it was 4 or 6. I only remember the 16 properly since I had an uncle who never drove anything else.

FYI, in France, the old license plates were yellow or white, it depends. So you'll find it on old cars. And also, the red tiles on the roofs are generally more in Southern France (exceptions exist, but you'll find more slate roofs in the north)
