Good video. shouldn't you also replace the axle seals while you have the axle removed?
You don't need to disassemble the y arm the cv axel slides through the hole with a lil wiggle, snug fit through the hole but it won't hurt anything
In my experience its best to just disassemble it so you dont tare up the cv boot
I have a 91 honda accord. I have a loose knocking noise in my steering wheel. I dont have an air bag in this car. The bolt that holds the steering wheel is tight so thats not it. I see a black square rubber thing that is loose in the steering wheel. Do you have a steering wheel break down video that can help? When the car idlea,the steering wheel rattles. Very annoying.

Glad you enjoy them I recommend if you have a few days to wait I use 1A auto there good quality and alot cheaper then getting them at the parts stores like auto zone or advanced

Yes, they are a reasonable price and good quality
How much do they charge for a 1990 accord cv axel replacement price?
If a shop is doing it probably 5 to 600. If you do it your self about 180 bucks 1a auto is a good place to look for cv Axles you can both left and right side together as a package deal
U dont have to do all that all u gotta take off is the axle nut and the lower balljoint and spindle swings out the way.
Does the car have to be in neutral to remove the cv axle???
Yes, it does to do it correctly. I do recommend that when installing a new cv axle or just putting the old one back into the car to put high temp grease on the cv axle spline that goes into the transmission especially around the clip in the future you will understand if you ever need to take it out or replace it it will help alot
