Saying film is not semantics, it's being taught misinformation and mimicking. We still make movies, they are no longer films. It's a different profession with different tools. Know the difference and be better at what you do. So many words to use to describe the tools you use. Video, Videoed, shoot, record, produce, but filming is not one of them unless a film camera is used. My point of view comes from working with film and television production for 40 years on sound stages, working for NBC, CBS, and ABC. Peace.
