I love how in both movies, he makes the character be so animalistic. He's not a human killer, he's a predator, and he's hungry. You see it in the way he has the spark in his eye when he sees his prey, the drooling lip, it's all so un-human and I love it.
At times in the film he felt creepy and manipulative, like the novel. The sewer scene with Georgie and the bleacher scene with the little girl were done well. But I think he got a little goofy in other scenes. Not a bad film but would like to see a true adaption of the novel.

The lazy eye, the hanging lip, the drop of saliva when he is talking with his prey... Bill really worked hard to give personality and life to the Pennywise redesign. I love how they created a new character instead of trying to recreate the iconic Tim Curry villain.

Definitely does wonders for the kids. If you have seen the Insidious series, in Insidious 1, the actor that played Dalton was terrified of the horse demon and so the director took him back stage to see that, yeah it actually just a guy in makeup and a costume.

Bill is honestly one of the most talented people in the industry rn. He plays a character with such ease and elegance, he see’s his characters as something very delicate and close to him. He knows what he is doing. His performances in IT, chapter 2, devil all the time and im guessing ALL of his film’s, is so perfect. It's nice to know that he's gaining confidence in his roles. He embodies Pennywise so well and so much so that these 2 versions are the only ones I own. I now understand why he's not on social media because, in essence, social media does play on one's mind and can really trip you up and make you doubt yourself. What's even scarier though is whether it was Curry or Skarsgard version, if Pennywise was real, no one would survive. The fear, visual manipulation etc he can cause would be too real. People have bad Acid Trips, can you imagine what Pennywise could do to alter your reality.
I have never been scared of clowns, but the scene where “It” is fast walking and laughing as he gets closer to the screen gives me absolute nightmares. Bill truly is a phenomenal actor and really nailed his whole performance.

I love this Pennywise!!!! I like how dark he is as well but I still love the original. Tim Curry's Pennywise did almost cute things that were really horrific, like in the library/balloon piece. I love that scene

What's even scarier though is whether it was Curry or Skarsgard version, if Pennywise was real, no one would survive. The fear, visual manipulation etc he can cause would be too real. People have bad Acid Trips, can you imagine what Pennywise could do to alter your reality.

I have never been scared of clowns, but the scene where “It” is fast walking and laughing as he gets closer to the screen gives me absolute nightmares.

Wow, it's been three years since this movie was made, but I think it's a great movie. I haven't seen the movie "It" yet, but I should watch it with my family after the school exam. I was amazed that motion capture technology was included in this video. And I saw an actor who played a monster and practiced acting. I respect him (10912)
I would be very uncomfortable around bill with his makeup on, and I'm an adult. Kudos to the small kids who act with him.....
in the first movie they actually didn’t let the kids see bill in the full clown suit until filming day because they wanted a real reaction from them instead of faking it

It's almost haunting, the way Bill talks about Pennywise just kind of being ever-present in him. A character like that doesn't just leave you.

I love seeing behind the scenes for different movies. It’s fascinating to see how much time, money, and effort went in to making a film that anyone can watch.
This character comes very naturally to Bill, he deserves an Oscar for the movies. I love how he asked the kids if they were okay after every scene and told them they were doing a great job. That really speaks on how hard he works, and what his true Bill personality really shows in whatever character he plays, and to me that speaks more than what I could speak.
If you think about it, he could’ve been a potential joker as well...

The scariest parts of the movies were just how Pennywise looks, but when I see Bill in his costume acting like a normal person and in his normal voice it's actually really funny.
He was phenomenal. I love how he would always ask the kids if they were ok especially after some intense scenes.

I think the closest thing you're gonig to get to a third chapter is reading the Dark Tower series which features the Crimson King. Often theorised to be another form of IT as they share similar traits.
