I am extremely happy that you made a tutorial about how to make mini comics plus how to make a how to character design... Technically you are the best one where you try all your best to explain and help us which truly you are right NOW doing that 😊😊😊😊😊😊 I can't wait for more of your upcoming videos ❤❤❤❤ Even where you put humour and cool edits which plus attract someone's attention and stay focused which I LOVED it 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 Thank you very much! And I hope you have a good day ❤❤❤❤
WHAT? NO. I'M STARTING MY COMIC NOW AND YOU SAID IT TOOK TWO WEEKS TO FINISH ONE. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WILL POST IT AT THE END OF DECEMBER ARE YOU KIDDING ME? btw your video was very helpful and easy to follow. keep making videos like these :) xox
I’ve always found mini-comics ‘interesting’, but as a comics creator myself, I’ve never been motivated enough to try making one. Something about the ‘novelty’ of it just didn’t move me. This video has single-handedly pushed me into a space where I absolutely want to, not just try, but make some full-fledged mini comics. Something about this presentation really resonated and clicked with me.
Hi Kesh,I am Aishwarya. In my childhood I got inspired by cartoons and I wanted to create my own story,I started from scratch drew my own characters in paint and then made animations frame by frame using GIF animator, it was fascinating. But then in school and college,I was focused and studying, didn't give myself the time for my art. I wanted to begin from where I am left and evolve further. I have bought the Drawing camp course,I have taken my first step, I aim to create my own comics and tell my story to the world !
Yoooo!!!!! Thank you so so so much!! You literally answered every question I had about making mini Comics in Less than 20 minutes!! With examples of what to do!! Legend I say!!! I've been designing characters for years now so I'm good on that. I was stuck on how to know when to show background, when to change the shot. It's not so straightforward 😂😂😅😅 Thank you so so much
Thank you so much, Keshav! I'm a self-"learned" artist (yes, I agree with your take). And some days I just feel like giving up. 2 mins into your video and I immediately picked up my sketchbook and continued with my daily practice. Thank you for not only giving insights but also hope! 🌻 Keep being you and doing what you do.
Best, most attainable and achievably actionable, and really HELPful content in the whole platform. After seeing too many art and comic videos to remember, this guy's videos actually got me making my first real comic!
It’s crazy because I just searched your channel up again yesterday because I thought to myself it’s been a while since I’ve seen your videos and you make one that was just right for me so thank you! 😊
I have an assignment due to draw a short comic and this was just perfect! there's quite some difference between art, writing and comics, you've done a great job explaining it! i know these videos require a great deal of effort, so thank you so much Kesh :)
This is called top-notch quality content for which I pay my internet bills!! Kudos to you @keshrt and your team!! You're literally giving off all the hidden gems to us for free!!! The first video which literally made me smile, laugh, focused and clap at the end!! I literally clapped at my screen👏👏🥰🥰😇😇 The way you have been evolving and have become the cutest art educator on the UA-cam, it's just incredible!! 💯💯 More power to you guys!! Keep them coming..🥰🥰😇😇😍😍
Thank you for the inspiration for keep going. When I was in school I used to make comics of a particular length and my friends really enjoyed reading it. Though at that time I had a strong passion of doing it to relief stress but then I was neither so good at story structuring not at making pleasing character designs still I continued to write to call it a comic book. Now though I make rather a good interesting story but I fear I can't draw to match my expectations that pressure killing my passion to start my comic. As years pass on our expectations and experiences build up according to our interests in things we see around that catches our attention. But now I realize so deep that I can't live without my story presentation and that can only be done through comic making. I WON'T STOP UNTIL IT'S DONE
Thank You for teaching this! I’ve been wanting to start drawing comics for a long time, I’m currently working on the story, and I’m hoping to start drawing soon! This info is extremely helpful! I’ll be looking forward to seeing part two! ❤
Your process is very similar to what I was planning to develop. Those quick comics make a wonderfull resource to mine for short films latter. I actually started organizing poems I wrote in high school and using a similar method to storyboard them into simple animated pieces. But animation takes forever, so it would be great to create mini-comics and ilustrated books as an intermediary step. I launched my first animated poem recently "tears of rain". Your channel is a great inspiration, your aproach of breaking the creative process into small projects resonates a lot and you art is beautiful and profound.
6:13 The new thing that you have done with the lights is amazing 🤩!! But just try doing the opposite lights. Cool lights on face, and warm in background. It looks less tenced 😁.
Hey Kesh! This was a wonderful video. Just clicked here for curiosity, but I used to draw comics in my childhood, and this video was really inspiring. I may give it a shot in procreate. Thank you so much! Your explanation was high level
Mini comics/short comics are a great way to start if you are starting off as a beginner comic book artist. You have to start small. Continue reading books and articles on the drawing process and on how to make comic books, do research, study the process, and continue drawing daily.
How does my computer always know what I've done? 😅(Not that much of a stretch: I'm subscribed to you, but still!) Literally, a week or two ago I made a silly comic (based off a tv show's documentary funny moments. 'Surviving Gilligan's Island') for drawing practice, and it was fun! However, it looked a little boring(square after square after square like you said). Thank you so much for this video! Looking forward for part 2!
Tell us about canvas resolution type rgb or cmyk everything ❤ the most difficulty comes in that for me let’s take if I want to print it out in future what all seating should I use for my canvas 😊
Sir. What can I do ? I have to make a 3 page comic for a week. But, my teacher wants it on monday if he doesn't get it on monday then he will fail me. Sir. The story get completed a month ago but it is difficult to make that is panic mode. 😢
or if you just wanna goof around with like 3 characters use the '19 days' style, no i dont mean everyday for 19 days you draw a small comic with them, 19 days is a name of a manhua that started off by 2 characters doing goofy shit and then slowly transitioned into a comic for me that worked so idk if you wanna try it out you can lemme know how it works
